Thank you! He’s definitely going to treasure this watch. I almost feel bad at the same time as I have surely now sent him down the path of watch addiction that he can never escape.
A bit late of a comment but great watch man. I bought my quickset 1999 datejust 36mm two tone stainless steel/18K jubile fluted bezel. Bought it for 5000 which is average price for these times. I also bought a birth year datejust non quickset, fluted bezel jubilee bracelet for my dad for 4500. Awesome watches. I’ll get mine serviced soon but for now I’ll rock it until the movement struggles to move.
It really is enjoy them! I think a datejust makes a really great birth year watch. It is a timeless design now and forever and pretty much as close to a perfect watch as you can get. I feel you on that one I have never serviced any of my watches I am actually down sizing a bit so I can focus on my favorite watches and service then and take care of them the way I should
It’s an absolutely beautiful watch. The dial is way more dynamic than pictures or video could do justice and the way the gold shines is just incredible, also gives great weights/feeling to the watch. After wearing it extensively I might even say the jubilee beats the oyster for the most comfortable bracelet
Congrats the Wimbledon is probably my favorite dial! What a killer combination. Tha yes a hard question because the day date is such a high end and boss watch but the date just is more wearable as an everyday watch you would actually wear. What about you?
@@WatchUnwind I agree 100 percent. The president is An amazing watch but I sold mine because I realized it was only a special occasion watch . This DJ is more versatile than the DD 40
Bezel and bracelet in 18k yummy! Love the fluted bezel! 100% imo thats more of a dress choice with it not having lume. But I mean diamonds for the win! Imo! I'm down! Gorgeous piece!
Thank you I appreciate you checking out the channel. That’s a really great watch as well and still has this absolutely amazing dial. For my OP 41 green I waited 1.5 years. For this watch I was not on a list they called me as a past client and let me know it was in the case for sale which has not happened in along time. I was in the right place at the right time. I hope you get yours soon. How long have you been waiting?
@@ryanrussoo it’s a game of luck sometimes but please watch my video on my experiences with the Rolex AD to see how I got my OP with no prior buying history. Staying in touch via phone, email, or stopping by is going to be important. If you don’t reach back out in some capacity they can easily forget about you and a lot of people slack on this aspect.
Well as much as I like that watch that’s just not going too be in my budget or my future budget maybe if I make too 90. In till then I’ll just have too Seiko 5 and 6309 diver.
Seiko is an amazing brand in of its self. I got married in a seiko. I never thought I’d own a Rolex either but with hard work and dedication you may surprise yourself.
Definitely, 36mm is a very good size but you can’t go wrong with either as long as you have the wrist for it. My OP 41 fits awesome and this fits just the same. My vintage watch I been wearing is a 32mm lol but that’s vintage
My most favourite one among all Rolex .. definitely gonna be my 1st purchase of Rolex time piece fr sure ..
I just picked up this watch today. I only waited 3 weeks! It’s perfect!😊
Congrats!! It’s an amazing watch you should be proud of. Not a bad wait at all!
where did you get yours?

Hard to even capture it on the camera in person it’s just incredible.
Beautiful and classy

That's it. An absolute classic.
Looked good 50 years ago and will look good in another 50. A classic and timeless watch!
Absolutely gorgeous watch Brandon...elegant and timeless. 41mm is just perfect too. Thank you for sharing my friend 👍
I agree it is the absolute perfect size. This watch is so stunning in person. Thank you for watching!
Beautiful watch. Congratulations 🍾
Thank you.
Love the diamonds
Bling bling
This is the exact watch I want. Going tomorrow to get put on a list...hopefully I can get a call before Xmas.

which is more classy the black or the Champaign
Can’t go wrong with black either, that’s a tough choice! What do you think?
@@WatchUnwind im about to buy black
Awesome video what a great friend
Thank you!!
Speculator . I have the same watch with the Wimbledon dial , it really pops. Do you like the two tone DJ41 better than an all yellow gold Day date ?

Love the datejust, it’s Rolex’s bespoke watch. Anyone can find a configuration they really like 👍.
100%. A stainless steel watch with a smooth bezel on the oyster bracelet looks so different than a two tone gold with diamonds
Yeah totally agree! 100% that and the day date on presidential bracelet in yellow gold
2 tone on that watch is absolutely timeless

Jubilee for the win! Incredibly comfortable
Would you say the hand winding feels any different on rolex compared to omega or longines
I like the cyclops a lot imo
Date for me is a must.

Where can I find this watch, what do I need to search to find this watch I need to buy ine
This is a Rolex Datejust 41mm in two tone with the champagne dial and Dimond index’s
That’s a truly 41mm ? Cuz I have one datejust but case dimensions are 39.7
Your correct both the date just and oyster perpetual 41s actually measure a bit smaller at around 39.7mm they are called the 41 though
@@WatchUnwind thanks for the info
How long was the wait from rolex?
1.5 years on my OP 41 green. On this datejust I was called and notified when it went into the case for sale so no wait.
Is the Rolex 41 datejust without diamonds solid gold? Thanks
They make these without the diamonds and the indices are outlined in gold and filled with lume
No Rolex date just is solid gold unless it’s a lady’s model which do come in solid gold with president bracelets

How much price
15,500
yea its a little flashy..feels like a drug dealer or a pimp when i put it on..beautiful watch btw
Some times it’s good to feel like Tony Montana
