Fun vid Jadyn. As long as you think about safety, you will stumble through and learn a lot. Great experience. Jex seems level headed. BTW, if you ever have an electrical issue again where you need to turn off. Find the breaker panel either inside or outside the building and try to locate the breaker (like a switch) and turn if off. that will stop the electricity to whatever it is you want to turn off. You came out ok but would have been best to do that first and then figure out how to unstick the button. They may call the breakers something different in other countries but most all developed countries have them. They are safety devices to prevent fires and other dangerous things. You probably even have them on your sailboat. Your Dad can show you and explain. Live and learn. Keep having fun and showing us. Stay safe.
And contacting the owner would be good, because he/she would know where the fuse box is ("breaker panel" for Americans) and it's the owners electricity so that is motivating him/her to fix the issue fast.
I regret that my social anxiety prevented me from mingling in hostels, back in the day. For me, those were stressful experiences, and I've actually never made any friends then. I missed out on endless possibilities. I'm glad you're taking advantage of it! You're the kind of person I wish I would have allowed myself to meet. Happy new year, Jadyn!

I don’t normally watch the sailing channel that you were on but I’m so glad that I “followed” you to Switzerland when you went! This is a awesome video and I loved all the snow and the places you went. The Hostel was great, I don’t think I’ve ever seen one so nice with such nice people too! I think you probably bring out the best n people because you’re so inquisitive and nice too…..
Jadyn.... loving your videos. I hope you give us more of a "behind the scene" opinion of your time with Finn, Jack and the crew. I always feel there is more going on there than we see. And your buddy, Jax is cute... especially in those gray sweats... lol
She surely will never talk about how she really felt on Zatara publicly! But I just think that she grew up with a really different family dynamic (every family dynamic is different, there is no better one) and that she wasn’t used to these extreme sarcastic manners (especially from Keith) and also quite strong opinions that got adapted by the Zatara kids. But you can’t blame them, if your main source of communication and behaviorism comes just from your two parents then obviously you get influenced and have no comparison!
I’m glad that you got some company, hope you get to get on really well with each other! I totally understand, incredible how people respect you more for having male company… but you seem great travelling together and it’s a great opportunity to share the experience

FYI Switzerland is one of the safest countries in Europe and possibly the world. It is a premier tourist destination all year around and has some of the most famous and expensive ski destinations in the world. It is very expensive. As a teenage back packer I avoided it completely. As a successful business woman, I enjoyed it a lot. Lovely that you can call on friends and family to join you at short notice and that they can afford to do so. And finally, never try to “fix”electric components without turning the power off first, and never hike in winter conditions without being fully prepared.
It looks so amazing but please be careful, don’t push yourself to much lovely lady. I would be happier if you started to travel with others. Great experience 🤗
Super swag! Just a simple suggestion. Maybe include costs of your stay at these hostels and/or overall cost of your trip at a location? just a thought. Please stay safe always.
The best thing about hostels is that it forces you to mingle and meet great people from all over. The best hostel chain I've seen is 'Generator Hostels'.

Hey, I am from Germany and between Switz and German you hab some difference. Grützi means hello in Switzerland. It`s like an dialect of German but it is very different compared to German. Even I have issues to understand Switz people. In Germany you sag for hello: Hallo, Guten Tag, Moin.

9:15... Jadyn , look at your pupils... Please wear sunglasses when out in the snow for more than an hour. Just like a sunburn, symptoms of snow blindness do not appear until the damage is done, which is why prevention is so vital. Usually, symptoms appear about six to eight hours after UV exposure. Long-term consequences can result in serious vision threatening eye conditions like cataracts or macular degeneration.
