    This layout looks like the one in the swiss transport museum built around 1958.The scenery is still very good. Some of the locos are quite noisy,maybe the original Maxon motors.Other parts and rolling stock may have been updated. If some of those locos are the old ones they would have millions of kilometers on them by now.More reason to run at scale speed,perhaps ? Overall still an impressive layout.

      Not really. They seem to be about right or to slow for european main lines.

    great close up shots but could have done with a wider full room shot to show where those close ups fit in

    Guys, I'm a real newbie when it comes to model railways but Im curious... is it just me or would it be more realistic if the trains moved slightly slower?

      @tjoeker680 2 года назад

      While slower tends to be prettier, actually no. I saw someone do the calculations once and the fastest he could get his H0 trains to ride was about 160kmh. (on the other hand, curves are usually to tight for these speeds, that's true)

    It would be a good idea to add a capacitor to that "Guards Van" that is shown several times - the flickering lights are very unrealistic, especilly when most of the coaches etc are lit very well. !

      Yes,the flickering.I think this layout is just DC.The guards van is called 'sputnik"
