Is 2015 the BEST year of LEGO Star Wars??

In this video I'll be talking about why 2015 might just be the best year for Lego Star Wars of all time. With sets from Rebels, The Phantom Menace and The Force Awakens, this year had a stacked lineup. Out of all these sets the Endor Imperial Shuttle has to be my favorite, I wish I had it because they nailed the look of the shuttle and the figures are amazing!

The arc-170 was my first Lego Star Wars set. My mom told me it was the coolest one and I agreed. We both had never seen Star Wars lol.

I think 2017 is really slept on as one of the better years. The second rogue one wave was really cool and there was still a good mix of prequel sets, OT sets. I think the downside was the TFA sets they made for that year were really forgettable, and as iffy as TLJ is, the sets lego made for it that year were mostly really good.

1:09 The Ventura droid kind of reminds me of the 2D Clone Wars series when Mace Windu rides on one.
1:50 Shame they didn't include the detail of the missile launchers on the front.
2:06 Didn't really appear in the new hope you have the toy and you can see part of the actual vehicle in the background behind Luke.
5:06 Maybe they released it 2015 because there was a similar ship at the time the Daisy May which featured in some LEGO animation and LEGO Force awakens game.
8:18 Luke Skywalker has looked like that in some animation,books & toys but it's still bad.

The Entire Force Awakens wave is one of the best ever released. Even with small things like Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle's wings being inaccurate, and the First Order Snowspeeder only appearing in the background of Rey and Finn disabling the doors so Han and Chewie could get inside the Oscillator on Starkiller Base...This wave is just so much fun. The First Order Transporter is a great vehicle that has some of the best scenes in the films with its WW2 inspiration. Poe's X-Wing is fantastic, and Rey's Speeder and the Millenium Falcon are timeless.
2015 was a great year for Star Wars. The Force Awakens was almost universally beloved in 2015, and the new interest and love it generated for Star Wars was just such a great time. Also other sets like the Senate Commandos and Shadow Troopers Battle Pack from The Force Unleashed...Just pure bliss!

I find it interesting how so far the 2020's just don't compare to the old days, though they still release cool stuff, just not always what everyone wants, I'd even say the same for Marvel, while the modualrs are epic and I love the Benatar too, my most prized possession is the Silver Centurion armour from pre-ordering Lego Marvel's Avengers
