- Draftees called up to fight for Russia against Ukraine have spoken about the harsh conditions they are faced with in call-up centres across the country.
There have been reports of those protesting the drafts being raped by police following their arrests.
Footage has shown basic rooms, some without any beds, that the men are made to live in.

But on the onter hand. I think most of them are pretty f*cked by this. Now I don't know if these are former professional soldiers or soldiers on time or conscripts, but imagine the foot problems, by wearing bad boots with wet weather. Somehow it sounds like Verdun or Ypres in WO1. The only difference is that in Ukraïne temperatures of -15 or -20 degrees Celsius are not that rare.

I saw a footage of an angry mum having a go at some Russian military recruitment official in Dagestan and that was the exact thought that came to mind. If more mother's went out protesting there's little the police can do in terms of brutality. Having said that, the Russians have proved to be uncivilised in this conflict.
