- Severide is charge for homicide when his car is involved in a hit and run, But with further investigating Intelligence manages to find the main culprit.
Season 4 Episode 9 "Don't Bury This Case"
Severide is accused of a hit-and-run accident, which later turns into a vehicular homicide when one of the victims, a child, dies from her injuries. Lindsay and Voight suspect that Severide was set up while friendships and relationships are put to the test as the detectives and cops are forced to toe a very thin line with their friends at Firehouse 51 as the evidence against Severide mounts. Meanwhile, Burgess begins her first day in Intelligence and immediately clashes with Olinsky. Also, Lindsay contemplates meeting her father.

Voight is honestly such a good cop, doesn’t matter how he does it but he always manages to get confessions out of People and track down everyone.
yea.... but if voight was a cop on law and order, none of his methods would lead to a conviction.
Super_Tristan1005 I know, but I mean as an actor they all take there rolls really well and they are very believable, didn’t mean out side of the show.
he uses police brutality on many occasions that is not a good cop

Because one of the key to a good tv drama, is the witty lines.
House MD was a great example. In fact, I think House might have inspired the use of witty lines for ratings in other dramas.....
Funny how as soon as Vought mentions the perps mom in the trunk the attorney is like I don't want to know.

Chicago PD is one of my favorite shows. I used to watch Fire years ago but lost interest. I never watched Med and I don't want to lol

caused by a very severe, near fatal accident back in 1999. He was intubated and while drugged up, he continuously tried to rip out the tubes, severely damaging his vocal cords :(

Voight roughing up people in custody loses the 'badass rogue cop' shtick when you remember that the RL Chicago PD had a full on torture site they'd use to get confessions from innocent people and based on Vought's age he'd have either known about it or been one of those doing it in the show's universe
