I don't think you're at coral, bro. You sound like high Yellow and your descriptions of Turquoise is that of Green. At Turquoise it's not about all living beings in harmony but the absolving of self and the realization that we're the whole system together.
Coral perhaps then is the embrace of the singularity nature of consciousness and desire to improve all of this dream that we're in.
I still have a lot to learn from yellow and the stages below but I at least know it's a common trap to rate yourself much higher on the scale than you are which is why I'm hesitant to even call myself Turquoise despite my perceived enlightenment and mystical experiences.
Namaste, best of luck for the future~
P.S. I think the 'achieve your goals while making it easier for others to achieve their goals as well' is brilliant advice.

Someone can experience states of enlightenment at any stage, and this is my own (kind of humour's spin on it, just trying to describe in words and generalizations is the joke ;) )
      Beige: i am god
      Purple: ancestor communicating
Red: im now enlightened ill be love (becomes apathetic)
Blue: god has spoken/im really at the highest level of development i can think of
Orange: that was really awesome my brain can do that/my i psychotic?
Green: this is what nature/heart has to tell me, this is why my cause against red/blue/orange is justified
Yellow: oh thats what happens when i stop thinking so much
      Turq: thats something to consider
      Coral: it happens

I've had some insights about this from psychedelics. During my trip I saw clearly how my mind is going back and forth between two polarities. Basically the mind is going back and forth to try and escape suffering. On one polarity you have the act of exerting effort to escape suffering which only leads to frustration which causes the mind to reverse to the other polarity which is the act of letting go but eventually this leads to fear and confusion out of ignorance so the mind reverses to the other polarity and so forth. I visualized it as a wave or a vibration going back and forth with a straight line in the middle which is the state of no self or awakening. Eventually the mind completely gives up out of frustration and the wave lengths become shorter and shorter until eventually the self completely dissolves.
Its important to think of these stages as a fractal. Within each stage all of the stages are repeated. So within stage green all the stages are repeated. This goes infinitely with no bottom or no top. So there isn't just one type of stage green. Some people stay in what seems like stage blue there entire life but they experience a stage green and so on within that stage blue.
After I had this insight I learned about spiral dynamics and was shocked to see how I experienced each one of this stages very clearly in my life. I went through a stage red in my teens and was very rebellious. This led to suffering and I became a fundamentalist christian. After that I became very rational and scientifically minded and an extreme libertarian. After that I had a life changing experience on LSD which launched me into stage green and became obsessed with awakening and nonduality but also had a strong desire to connect with people which led to suffering. Now I'm in stage yellow.
This might seem a little loopy but I experienced a synchronicity with the date of march 24. A sign from the universe you might say. I had two significant trips on this exact same date by accident and realized that something was trying to get my attention. I spent the exact same amount of time in each stage of spiral dynamics. About four years. I transitioned into each stage on March 24 every four years. Through contemplation I had some other significant insights into how this process works that I won't get into here. But I have good reason to believe that this pattern is very consistent and you can actually figure out exactly when you will enter each stage of you have the right clues. Stage red, blue, orange, green, and yellow all have the same wave length and last the same amount of time. Stage turquoise has a shorter wavelength and every stage after that gets shorter and shorter.
I also realized that there is an expansion phase and a contraction phase. Stage purple is the expansion phase. During stage purple stage red, blue, orange, green yellow and turquoise are repeated over and over expanding to different wavelengths until it gets to the maximum wavelength and then contracts during stage turquoise. So there are six stages within each wavelength and then the seventh final stage is when awakening occurs. And I believe that these stages are represented by the seven chakras. The way I visualized these wavelengths going back and forth is very similar to how the kundalini energy moves back and forth between each chakra until ida and pingala contract in the seventh chakra
Again, I know this sound a little loopy but its easier to explain visually, I can get into it more if anyone is curious.

ive had some similar thoughts especially "Stage red, blue, orange, green, and yellow all have the same wave length and last the same amount of time. Stage turquoise has a shorter wavelength and every stage after that gets shorter and shorter. ". don't think nonduality is green tho lol.

Uh this is confusing. The more I learn about the spiral, the higher up I place myself, which is not supposed to happen, I think. There is no way I'm that advanced, yet by your metrics, I am. This whole model seems to be promoting ego inflation.

    • @unleashus2991
      @unleashus2991  6 лет назад

There are many ways to boost your ego, including by deciding you're the highest level you've heard of, or instead by knowing what level you are with complete 100% accuracy. It is useful to know how tall you are, what blood type you are, what you are on the introverted/extroverted scale, and what level of existences you're using. See if the introductory videos help, my 101 or there are others by for example Don Beck who worked with Graves on this model.

    • @spbkoon3385
      @spbkoon3385 6 лет назад

I think by now I've watched every video on youtube on the matter of Graves theory, and it doesn't help. There are certain aspects that I resonate very powerfully with in stages ranging from blue to coral, and then again there are aspects that... I won't say I despise them, more like they make me want to facepalm. Then again I have a huge problem with all kinds of models, because all of them try to pigeonhole a living person in some kind of metric, which I find to be bullshit. Introversion/extroversion is one of those metrics. Personally I view them as a couple of interconnected skills now, not characteristics.

      Hi,
Let's use this as an example.
The level we use is involved in making the decisions we make all the time. Thus, let's look at the decisions you keep making.
You say you've watched lots of RUclips videos on Graves theory. This drive to find out more about yourself is typical of Green.
The fact you say you resonate with aspects from many stages could imply some integration, i.e. some Yellow, implying you are Exiting Green. The fact you mention you see several metrics as interconnected reinforces this.
The fact there are aspects you resonate with while others that make you want to facepalm is black and white or absolutist thinking, which is Blue. Perhaps you are Exiting Green and under stress Exiting Blue.

"There is no way I'm that advanced, yet by your metrics, I am. This whole model seems to be promoting ego inflation."
You are correct, Unleash Us, in his last video, basically deduced that he has ascended to Coral because he was resolving his problems in Yellow.
There is absolutely no solid evidence that states you exist two levels above where you problem solve. This whole video is built on a foundational concept that is without merit.
Also, this video is likely going to confuse people, and it certainly does seem like a very ego based analysis. It's unfortunate, but hey, it's a wide open field to be explored, so good on Unleash Us for trying.

My name is M. A. Carrano.
I'm the discoverer of the Coral vMeme and a research associate of both Don Beck's as well the late Christopher Cowan. I regret to inform you that what you're describing is most certainly not Coral at all. It's Exit Level Blue/Entry Level Orange.
The giveaway is the concept of Dynamic Subordination, which is a defining Orange concept. It is the idea that leadership is determined by core-competencies rather than heterarchical, hierarchical, kratocratic, etc. principles.
Let me repeat: you're not describing Coral. You're describing Exit Level Blue/Entry Level Orange.
All the research I've done thus far indicates one thing: Coral doesn't share power or play nice with others who insist on the sharing of power. It feigns to share power, and then acts to set up systems which result in the collapse of its rivals in order to consolidate power into itself.
Furthermore, Coral correlates significantly as a Machiavelian adaption by individuals who are professionally required to co-exist, compete with, and in some instances co-operate with executive-level psychopaths through learned trait acquisition and integration -i.e., Coral behaviors, if they are not thoroughly psychopathic, very nearly mirror psychopathic thinking in levels that, if you knew what you were looking at, should make you extremely uncomfortable.
Coral Thinkers, in my assessments, have a near 50% probability of suffering from psychopathy or placing on the spectrum of Antisocial Personality Disorders.
Martin Shkreli exhibits many traits of Coral, though it's difficult to assess whether he is because he's now incarcerated. Similarly, Henry Kissinger, Michael J. Morell, and John McCaffee all likewise exhibit Coral traits - but, again, it's difficult to make the determination without performing a direct assessment.
In order to do the research for Coral, I interviewed over 30 boardroom executives in high-level positions of power, as well as four high-ranking, former government employees with security clearances.
Later, colleagues of mine discovered that such behavior can be correlated in their thinking with Big Five Personality Traits measuring for Extraversion, Neuroticism, Intellect, Agreeableness and Openness to Experience as well as the Myers-Briggs Personality Index. I've also contrasted their personalities against Hare's Psychopathy Checklist and qualified their level of fluency in terms of thinking according to General Systems Theory.
I see no such rigor in your research, and this, to me, is problematic.
I'm not going to insist that you remove this video, nor am I going to pronounce it to be pseudo-science. However, what I am going to suggest is that you might want to imagine in what ways this video does your public image and reputation harm to those who are actively involved in the research.
In essence, by claiming yourself to be Coral, there's a marginally better than 50% average that you're a psychopath.
    Regards,
    M.

      Hi,
Thank you very much indeed for taking such time and such trouble to so carefully and clearly share your findings complete with specific examples of individuals.
Many congratulations on finding sections of society that, due to being responsible for a large section of a large organisation or a government institution, have Coral life conditions, and thus this level of existence can be quantified with clarity.
What you’ve shared I find fascinating.
Are the research findings of you and your colleagues available? How may I read up on what you’ve discovered?
In your research of these people in high positions: how many people did you find that had developed Coral?, and how many did you find that had developed “only” Turquoise, Yellow or a top 1st Tier level?, did you discover any that while they had developed Turquoise then regressed to a lower level for some reason?
As I’m sure you know, personality traits greatly influences which careers people select, and someone wanting power are naturally going to be greatly driven to acquire such high office. Thus you finding such a large percentage of specific personality types in the people you researched is not a great surprise.
You mention that people not born with these extreme personality traits adapt them when developing Coral, do you think this would be the case for someone who developed Coral in non-high-powered life conditions, but some other career with highly complex Coral life conditions? I’m wondering if in a situation of Coral life conditions where such traits weren’t there to be mimicked, what would happen? I'm also wondering if centuries ago it was the psychopath-like that developed Red first.
Have you looked into your subjects histories to see when they developed Coral and the existence levels prior, and thus be able to more clearly see when they were behaving from Green, Yellow, Turquoise, Exiting-Turquoise, Entering Coral?
I’m highly surprised at your result, your findings suggest Coral is simply power hungry, thus identical to Red, except presumably with the flexibility of utilising all of its 1st Tier resources to architect the systems designed-to-collapse-to-a-specific-result that you mention.
The picture you paint of Coral is grim, even nice people develop subversive behaviours. Is there anything good about Coral? Although Red is often considered with low regard, at one point it was also the leading edge of human development and we have made it to higher levels since.
I hope studies of a wider range of IV-Coral people will reveal a less bleak picture of the future; if not, here’s to hopefully a much better JW-Teal and KX-Plum.

    • @avatarparadigms
      @avatarparadigms 6 лет назад

In my research, Coral appears to be the Supervillian variant of Red. It's cunning, cut-throat, ruthless, and a wizard in understanding economic, ecological and geopolitical systems, and it leverages them on the world stage to it's advantage. (If you want to see Coral in action, search: Michael J. Morell's video on his endorsing Hillary Clinton.)
Secondly, Plum (KX) isn't anticipated by the model. We're only just now establishing the existence of Coral. Teal life-conditions are maybe a century away, and, in my opinion, they're most likely going to be a response to computer-brain interfaces, transhumanism and the questions and challenges that arise from the problems implicit in transhumanism.
If you want to learn more about Coral, you can visit my research here. If you want to do a video about Coral, then I'll give you the material you need to cover the idea more effectively. But don't cover Coral until your data is accurate.

Comments: can you give a summary that dums it down into a grain of sand - even if it has to be a new word - just so it is more intelligent and memetically transferable?
Can you maybe elaborated on it being the 3rd in the 2nd. - I mean there must be a geometry to it.
Can you maybe redo the painting color coded to express how each branch is a 3rd step of a second perspective?
Can Coral maybe be about a leading survival of all previous complexity that follows its internal consistency?
I liked the salt thing - but it didn't clearly show me how you decide what you decide to follow or what you decide to lead.

Hmm, interesting tip of the iceberg for the “coral” stage. Although pretty much everything that was mentioned about Coral could still be said about Turquoise. A high level stage turquoise individual will still know when to lead or follow as well as the multiplicity of reasons for action.
It also seems that Coral would be the foundation of tier 3, which would give it unique characteristics that don’t directly mirror the lower stages such as Red.
An much more detailed description of the Tier 3 dynamics can be found in Ken Wilber’s book “the religion of tomorrow”

It is a bit strange how much you're trying to big yourself up in this video. If indeed you have reached coral, it's super unlikely you're the first there. Pretty sure if Coral exists then Ken Wilber at least has got there already. I think Tim Freke might be there too. You sound a little too self congratulatory and that does give the impression of being orange/yellow
Your description of Turquoise also highly resembles my conceptualisation of Green. And I feel like your lead/follow when appropriate description of Coral isn't especially different from anything a Yellow person might think.
It seems strange also that you don't seem to respect Tony Robbins, as he is actually a really highly developed, at least Yellow for years, person
How sure are you that you weren't actually at Green when you thought you were at Turquoise, and are now at Yellow when you think you've become the first person ever to discover Coral- something that was at least being talked about in the 80s? Your description of Coral seems basically identical to my Yellow mindset, and i really don't think I've gone through Turquoise and out the other side
I do share your intuition that Coral is about Leadership though, as a second tier Red ego meme. But i think that shares a lot with Yellow, since it's on the Individualist side of SD.
