Understanding Sin | An Authentic Catholic World View | THEOLOGY OF THE BODY

In an authentic Catholic world view, how do we understand sin? What is sin? What is it not?
Evangelists often say things like, “You’re a sinner; you need a savior.” While this is true, it’s a terribly truncated version of the Gospel. We don’t even know what sin is until we understand God’s original, beautiful, wonderful, plan for making man and woman in His image. Only then can we talk about sin. We have to understand what we have fallen from in order to know what it is to be a sinner and why we need a savior.
Through the lens of Theology of the Body, we can look back at the story of the fall and form an authentically catholic world view of sin and the salvation which comes from Christ.
