There are vampires in The World Below! They're not quite as pleasant as me, however.
This game sounds like Heart: The City Beneath with enough changed to avoid getting sued. :/
I've never read it. This game's primary inspirations are Hollow Knight, J.G. Ballard, and Dungeon Keeper.
