It really upsets me too! Over 2000 people have watched this, and only a few hundred have hit the like button. People are so ungrateful to these wonderful content creators. Beautiful card, Chris!❤
Christine I absolutely love seeing your “thought process” and how you carry on if something doesn’t go as planned. I, like you, like to make it work. Something beautiful is always a result. Thank you for just playing with products. It truly helps us cardmakers to see different results. Your tips are fabulous and appreciated 🩷
You taught me something new AGAIN! Stunning card with the perfect color combos but the revelation for me was trying the black butterfly. Never would have occurred to me.
Hello Christine. C est splendide . Cette différence entre la poudre sur du blanc ou sur du noir est étonnante. Ton est est plus adapté pour ce mix média. 👏👏👏👋👋👋
How clever of you to try the butterfly with a black cardstock base! It made all the difference in how the luscious powders reacted and tied in with the rest of the card. Brilliant!
Such a beautiful piece of art! Like someone else recently commented, I try to remember to click the like button as soon as I start the video. I know I’ll enjoy the video and I don’t want to be distracted and forget to like it!
It had been a very busy day, and I was in need of a break. So I sat down with a cup of tea and fresh baked muffin, and enjoyed your video. I need to make a couple of sympathy cards for a friend and my daughter-in-law, and I think I will use some variation of what you did today. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful card Chris you are so imaginative and your ideas are so clever and striking. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your process, it’s encouraging me to play with mixed media to see what I can achieve too.
I need to check out your new tool, is it a stamping plate as in stamp and stencil alignment or grip plate or a thin gelli plate? If it is a stampe plate as in first instance they usually warn you never to use as gelli plate as they are too different, although similar looking items.
Okies it is a thin media plate aka thin gelli plate. I think they are causing confusion with the name, but added one to my wishlist, great price and I like them for reflection stamping.
Hi. Turned out beautifully. Love the colour's. I think it would also look amazing with silver gilding flakes. Beautiful creation. Enjoy your day. Tfs.Sherry 🇨🇦.
There are some amazing colours of Luscious powders, did you see the card with the same colour added to black card? The link is at the end of this video.
Beautiful card 😊 Gel plates are awesome, I Love mine & use it a lot for backgrounds, there's so many types of mediums you can use on it. With your Oxide inks when you put them on the Gel plate you can put the water directly on it. When using Acrylic paints if you're doing multiple layers do one layer & let it dry before doing the next, when you're ready to pull the final print, put a layer of paint on it then your paper, but let the paint fully dry before pulling it. 😊 I'd suggest not to use your Gel plate in the Stamp Press like in this video as you might damage your Gel plate, I put my A4 Gel plate on a piece of acrylic plastic as it's sturdy, smooth & less likely to get damaged by any rough or sharp bits on my craft table, plus once the paper/ cardstock Is on it I can flip the plate to see underneath it. 😊 .
This is a plate specially made to use in a stamping platform as it is very thin. I have done a few videos on using a Gelli plate, using traditional methods for them. The kissing technique is one that I hope this particular plate will be realty useful for!
My "Absolute Favorite Cards by Christine" is now overflowing! This card is gorgeous! I love everything about it - the colors, the design, the butterflies and of course, the enjoyment of watching you make it. Fantastic! 🩷
The first thing I do is click the like!👍 I brought you up to my craft room today (aren’t you lucky!) and going to have a play with beloved mixed media. Love the soft tones you use so dug out stamps and all detritus to create! Very lovely card today, so thank you so much!❤❤❤
Another lovely card. I knew luscious powders changed according to the background but I wasn’t sure about black, wow that made the difference. You never know until you try!
Thank you Christine, that glimmer powder is amazing and the butterfly is gorgeous. Lots to look at in this card, and yes it needed a gold border to just bring the whole thing together. Looking forward to seeing what you do with that gel plate❤
Once again, I so enjoy watching the process for these cards. Another lovely card today! It's a cold, snowy day here - perfect for getting my own embossing paste, glamour dust, luscious powder, etc. out to play 🙂
I'm amazed at the difference between a white and black base.I have never thought of trying that!! And I had forgotten what the bonding powder was for, so thank you for the reminder!! ❤
Your MM goes from strength to strength Chris. At first glance the card looks remarkable with not much hint of the layer upon layer, upon layer required to achieve the look. Your equanimity when not knowing what the outcome will be, is impressive. I lost count of the number of layers after about 16! If something doesn't quite look the way you had hoped, you push on, drawing on another element to create harmony. OH MY GOSH. What an Artist. Thank you.
What a gorgeous card 😍! I would have never guessed the mica powder would change colors so dramatically depending on using black or white cardstock ! Absolutely brilliant 🤩! Thanks for sharing ! 🩵🦋💙
Great video, beautiful card. I can't believe how many people watch that don't bother to hit the like button. Thanks Chris!
I appreciate that! It would be great if everyone hit the like button. 😊😊😊
It really upsets me too! Over 2000 people have watched this, and only a few hundred have hit the like button. People are so ungrateful to these wonderful content creators. Beautiful card, Chris!❤
@ I think many people don't realise how's important it is for creators, both creatively and financially!
The blue butterflies are stunning!! 😍
Thanks so much💙💙
Another fabulous card❤

Absolutely stunning card and I love your laugh. It’s rather cute
Why thank you😊😊😊
You taught me something new AGAIN! Stunning card with the perfect color combos but the revelation for me was trying the black butterfly. Never would have occurred to me.
Certain powders are interference colours, they appear differently on black and white cardstock! Sometimes totally different colours!!
Oh my. What a striking creation.
Thanks so much💙💙💙
Thanks Christine, good to see the contrast. Gorgeous cards.🥰
You’re welcome 😊
What imaginative ideas you come up with, Christine! Beautiful card 😊

Thank you so much!😊😊😊
Another beautiful mixed media card, love the colours x
Thank you so much!
Beautiful card! I would never have known the different colour effect using black card would show.
If something is an interference colour it will react differently on a black or white card.😊
Never would have thought about using black to change the color. Brilliant
It's an interference colour so it did make a difference! Fun isn't it!
This is a beautiful mixed media card, the colour combination is gorgeous. thank you for sharing with all of us
You are so welcome!💙💙💙

To me the like button is 2-fold. It helps the algorithm of the RUclipsr, and it helps me te see whether I already watched the video and I liked it
Perfect thinking!😊😊😊
