- Hey y'all!
Be easy on me with this one. I was vulnerable in this video, which is extremely hard for me to do! I'm sharing EVERYTHING! 😬
Part 2 will be uploaded on February 15th, 2022. Part 2 is where my healthcare administration career kicks off.
Dr. Ryan Fiorini's Interview, Career Conversations with Courtney: • CAREER CONVERSATIONS W...
Let me know what y'all think about Part 1! I put making this vide off for 6 months because I wanted to be transparent with y'all but I was too scared. The message I want you to take from Part 1 is that regardless of how tough life gets, stay prayed up and keep making progress towards your goals! Things will eventually get better but you have to put in the work and have faith! XOXO - Court
I graduate in 8month with my MBA in healthcare Administration. I’m super excited.. thank you for your channel, this field doesn’t get talked about enough.
I really feel like I can relate to you in so many aspects.. I was a psychology major with a focus in business, ended up leaving school in 2017 so I could work full-time.. long story short, I ended up meeting my husband and we've now been married for three years. He's in the military so we've moved around A LOT during his career which basically left me no time to focus on my goals, but I decided that 2022 is the year that i'm done putting my goals on the back burner and i'm going back to school periodt! I knew I didn't want to continue pursuing psychology, and I've always been interested in business as well as healthcare.. ended up researching Healthcare Administration and found your channel! You were so informative and gave me great insight on what life in this career field could look like.. with that being said, I was just accepted into a bachelor's program at SNHU for Healthcare Administration and since I don't have a background in healthcare, i'm preparing to get my certification in medical billing & coding + medical administrative assistance through a program being offered at CSU Chico. I really want to say THANK YOU, because if it weren't for your videos I probably wouldn't have came to this decision & hearing your journey in this video was so inspiring. Much love for you girl, wishing you nothing but happiness and success
Omg Courtney 😮 I had to stop you video in the middle and leave a comment. You’re such strong spirit woman with beautiful , kind heart. You had to deal with so much in your life and still get your degree. That’s impressive. You’re my inspiration in to my way of getting a MBA/MHA. Once I reach it , I must find you and invite you to celebrate 🎉
God bless you and your family ❤
I will be graduating this year with a bachalors degree in healthcare management. I was wondering if you could do a video on the interview process, and how to prepare for the interview and the types of questions asked during the interview. Your channel has been a blessing for me.
I’m literally nearly in tears watching this.
I was recently majoring in nursing ,
But I’m considering switching to health care administration. My husband is military and it’s just me when he’s away . So I’ve been watching your videos to get some idea of the field.
This video had everything‼️ Love, pain, victory, persistence and so much more🎉
Thanks for sharing your journey. I too was a party girl and having kids changed my life because it gave me purpose and something else to live for outside of myself. I appreciate you letting people know you can make it and have a great career even if you don’t follow the traditional college path. In 2018, I graduated with my bachelor’s finally and in 2021 I graduated with my masters in healthcare administration during covid while working full time and having a husband and 2 children. I am now a healthcare recruiter for a large healthcare system . I’m a firm believer in it’s not how you start but how you finish and when life gave you lemons you turned it into lemonade. Love your channel you’re truly an inspiration.
Hey Kiki! I love that you said it's not how you start but how you finish! This is so true. Congratulations on your success! I appreciate your support 🥰✨
Congrats! I started college in 1995 and quit multiple times. I got my BS in 2009 and just finished my MS in Health Coaching with a Grad Certificate in Lifestyle Medicine this past May At The Age of 44. It really is how you finish.
Hey can we contact.. I need info.. Want to do masters in health care management
Omg I am following your chapter because I have been with similar experience with my child. It is not easy and is beautiful that you was able to complete your education journey it is not easy.
Your testimony is heart warming. This not only shows your stellar professionalism, but also the sacrifices you’ve made as a mother first. Before obtaining my B.S. in Health Systems Management last Spring, I’ve, too, had to take take off from school due to unexpected hospitalization and an autoimmune diagnosis. The experiences that we embark on in school/work doesn’t at ALL amount up to our raw life experiences-that’s where true character and tests of times comes from. AMAZING isn’t the word to describe you. You’re such a light! Definitely my top favorite RUclipsr ❤️
Thank you for being so transparent, I’m not surprised Cam was so strong during everything, look at YOU ! I’ll be 30 in 3 months and I’m having a “quarter life crisis” I call it, as it pertains to my career. I definitely squandered away my freshman year of college as well😂 I’ve had some life halting situations happen as well which stopped me from starting school, and when I did, prevented me from finishing. On top of not ACTUALLY knowing what to do with my life even with my military experience. Getting to the point, I recently landed on the thought once again of getting my degree in Healthcare Services Admin, and I realized I watched another video from you before on what you do ! But I think THIS was the video I needed. Every path isn’t a straight one. Thank you
Actually me at 30 too. Wow! Same, with stumbling unto her videos! whew!
Being a mother I understand the struggle of balancing so many hats. I’m happy your son is feeling better. I enjoyed your story, and cried with you even if it wasn’t supposed to be that kind of story. I knew I gravitated to your channel for a reason. I can’t wait for part 2!
Hey The people's choice! I love your username :) Thank you! Being a mom is the hardest yet best job ever.
You’re crying! I’m crying! I know we will probably never meet but your journey has touched me and makes me feel accepting of a lot of the failures I’ve had in my life. I love your channel so much because I too thought I wanted to pursue medicine but life and god had other plans. Watching your channel helped me push myself to apply go get my MHA! I’m currently in my first year ☺️ I am so happy for you and how far you’ve come and I think you’re an amazing woman ! 💞
Everybody is crying! lol
Failure leads to success! You're closer to success than you know, just keep readjusting as needed and keep pushing! Sending you many blessings on your education and career journey!
What a story, a beautiful story. Courtney, thank you for sharing this story with us. I needed to hear this. I graduated high school in 2002, I left home in 2003 to go to college and have been trying to complete my degree ever since. There’s always been a set back, it is nothing comparing to what you went through with your son, but it seems I cannot complete this chapter of my life. I’m so embarrassed because I soon will be 40 and I’m still struggling to finish my college degree. Almost all my classmates and kids I used to babysit when I was growing up have their college degree and I’m still trying to make it. Your story gives me hope…and I’m so thankful for those who gave you an opportunity and believed in you, today you have a story to help someone like me and others. I am in the same career field as you , God willing this year will be it. Thanks again Courtney, blessings to you and your family….can’t wait for part TWO!!
You go Mama! I never watch videos longer than 10 minutes, but I kept going! I’m so proud of you and will keep you and your son in my prayers 🤲🏻🤲🏻
FMU ALUM STAND UP! 💙❤️

Thanks Nathalie! I'm still laughing about that neckless situation! 😂😂
Thank you for sharing your story. It's amazing how you are vulnerable and confident about everything.
🗣Listen Courtney!! You had me crying with you! I'm a NICU mom x2! And I had to navigate both experiences (both a 60 day stay with my 1st AND a 38 day stay with my second) while trying to stay the course in my Healthcare Administration journey! Love to see you sharing your story, you are motivating me to share mine also! 💗
Can't wait to hear part 2, because I know 1st hand that the come up is ALWAYS worth the struggle! 💪🏾
Awe, you know first hand what it's like to have a child in the NICU...x2!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I literally tried fighting back my tears when you started to talk about Cam. My prayers are with you all. You motivate me more than you know♥️
Hey Shanecqua! Thank you :). I'm honored to know that I am a source of motivation for you.
Thank you for being open and HONEST! In one way or another so many of us can relate to your journey, I found your channel a few months ago, and you have truly inspired me! I’ve decided a few months ago I’m going back to school for health care administration!
Somehow I landed on your video and your story is so amazing and inspiring! I can relate to being a young mom, and the challenges of finishing school/starting a career with balancing time with your child and their needs. Our children are the fire that keeps us going!
Courtney- Thanks so much for sharing your story! You can tell it's tough for you. It requires a lot of courage to share the hard things and be vulnerable. Every single person goes through hard times and does things they're not proud of, but only certain people are brave enough to tell their story! I love how all of these difficult decisions and things you went through ultimately led to your successful career in healthcare administration and I look forward to the next video. Also, I just wanted to point out that you mention multiple times about reaching out to your connections to find your next job instead of turning to career sites. A message I've been hearing echoed lately is about how important networking and making those connections are and I just wanted to point that out.
Oh my God! It’s raining on my face. You’re a powerful and resilient woman. I’m so happy that Cameron is doing well and thriving. Congrats on your career trajectory.
Hey AJ! Awe, you're the sweetest! Thank you so much. Hope all is well with you :)
This video was everythingggg. Thank you for sharing ❤️
Thanks for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed it!! 🥰🥰🥰
First of all, kudos to you for being so strong and sharing your story! I know that was not easy. Now, I just want to say you are an amazing person! I admire your strength and perseverance! I know Cam's sickness was a difficult time for you and your family, BUT you kept pushing! So proud of you! Miss yall! ❤
God is so good! I'm so happy for you. And Cam has grown to be a handsome young man! I am so amazed at how much he has grown up!
You got everyone crying 😭. Strong, dedicated mama!!
I had to edit out my ugly cries...girl! It was too much. lol. Thanks for watching and for your support. ☺
Courtney, thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m so happy I found you. I really love your spirit and all the wonderful content you provide. You are spot on and I appreciate your message. You are so inspiring and I’m looking forward to Part 2 of your journey.
Girl!! You are such an inspiration! 👏❤️
I just adore you, Courtney and I appreciate your transparency. You had me crying, God is so Amazing.
This is such an honest and vulnerable video. Loved hearing about your journey so far ... all the ups and downs...and so glad to know that your boy is doing good now. Discovered your channel looking for information on Healthcare IT roles and its great knowing your career journey and your life, and how you've rocked it despite what life presented you with.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your story! Your story and will is beyond inquiring.

Hey dear
Can I pursue my masters in this subject even when I have a BBA and MBA from Bangladesh? And 9 years of careers in corporate, NGO and start-up?
Wow, Courtney! I had no clue, you're such an inspiration. Look at God!
Awe, thank you! God is good!
Wow. My child's story was quite different but she had breast cancer at 27 so I know the feeling of not being able to help your child. She also was able to get assistance from her state, which was a blessing. Interestingly, my daughter lives in Cincinnati. Thank you for sharing your story. You were not a failure, you were a mother with a sick child. Looking forward to Part 2.
