      i did one for the Facebook apps (which are bloatware) - maybe this will help - ruclips.net/video/C240LqaIdkw/видео.html
      I can dedicate a video for all bloatware though. thanks for suggesting this idea!

      yea, I don't think you'll want to remove the galaxy store as so many other system apps rely on it for updates

  • @KLEINMUSCHIPAUL

    with the automatic updates of the other apps, the deleted ones come back or are they deleted forever?

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад +2

      they MAY come back when you install an OTA update. this only happens if the app itself receives a new version in the OTA update, though

      what do you mean by 'update apps'

    • @Pabloman333
      @Pabloman333 Год назад

      @@ExplainingAndroid the apps that update the phone to the next version of Android.
      adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.policydm
      adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.sec.android.soagent
      adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.samsung.sdm
      adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.samsung.sdm.sdmviewer
      I disabled these on my Verizon Note 9 and it's still runnin strong with great battery life on Android 8.1.
      I believe the phone operates best and longer on whichever version is came with.
      I plan to buy an unlocked S22 Ultra.

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад +1

      nothing is "deleted" with this method. it's just uninstalled for the current user. if you factory reset, those apps comes back. you can also execute an ADB command to bring these apps back if you wanted

    could i delete bixby using this method? will it crash the phone?

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад +1

      you definitely can. and it shouldn't crash the phone, but you may end up seeing app crash errors if you try to open Bixby through the settings, or with another app. but if you avoid that, then I doubt you'll notice that it's gone
      I could do a video about this if you think it would be useful

    Hello, is there a command to delete system apps completely of a device?

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад

      you can IF you have root access. but doing so will not make your internal storage any bigger. the partition those apps are installed to is not accessible when installing things from the Google Play Store

    • @razorramon3117
      @razorramon3117 Год назад +1

      @Explaining Android for me, its not a matter of space. There are Meta and emergency alert apps I want wiped completely off my phone. In the UK, they are testing the emergency alert system next month, your phone will be locked until you acknowledge the alert.
      No opting out, no say at all. Fuck them I say. I want that carp off my phone

    Does this mean they will be uninstalked and not cost storage anymore?

    • @ExplainingAndroid
      @ExplainingAndroid  Год назад

      sadly, bloatware isn't installed on a partition that we can install 3rd-party apps on (from the Google Play Store). so even if you were able to delete them (with root), you can't take advantage of the space. you couldn't install apps to that partition through normal means

      look for a samsung galaxy 'manually update' video here on my channel. that should walk you through installing the newest firmware update via Odin (instead of the through the system update process) and should work 100% of the time
