11 bucks totally worth playing it, aestethics reminds me of Mirrors edge, which I LOVED and some tidbits remind me of cities skylines, which is also great. Overall still could use work as people said but man, for the price it's perfect. I even dig the music. I wish the little dudes had more detail, or even like a way tpu could build into the tower things but hey they got more to come
I have suffered misplacing a building but I think it's a good thing, makes it less forgiving like the environment you are building in. Nice video though :D
Ali Alimadadi u need to build a personal villa/mansion thing and when u go into first person mode the villa spawns with a bike that can fly and u can ride it by pressing enter on it
I disagree with the idea that there are no new real gameplay mechanics vs the other city building games. You are building 3 different cities, in small spaces, with different resource settings. This compels you to make each city specialize in different things and trade between each other. It's the most refreshing aspect of the game, it is as much a trading simulator as city builder. Also IDK if your version at time of review had the game mode feature option it does now, but you can turn on or off individual aspects of the game. If it is a new update, that is awesome. I've had the game like 2 days, love it so far. Definitely worth $12 IMO.
That last Sim city had this mechanic. Anno 1800 has this mechanic in the form of islands. Being able to build 3 different areas and trade among them is not a new mechanic.
7:19 Nucular? I didn't realize you were george bush in disguise. I'm joking, but it would be good to try and break yourself of that habit. Obviously it's not that important but people like me go crazy when we hear the words nucular, calvary, ekspecially, eKcetera, etc.
I picked up Cliff Empire once again. And while your statement is true, it doesn't bring an awful lot new to the tabel, you really need to take into consideration: This is a 1 man game. (Correct me please if i am wrong) And this title costs 10 bucks. Though i got it for 7, non sale. And the most important thing is, the developer actually continued to work on his title. That alone is already golden. How many early access corpses float in the steam nether? Also, i just discovered the under-cliff elements, so i suppose a good chunk of min-maxing and fiddling arround is yet to come. Overall a fair and informative review, thanks :)
old video I know. but just wanted to add that the "one difficulty" is not really true. The game can get truly hard when you continue to maximize your population. Or it can be cheesed by keeping the population low which is what many guides recommended. You can also stall progress and take as much time as want developing your city, earn income, developing infrastructure what made the game stupid easy. I liked the early game struggle as I increased the population. But because my resource chain was insufficient, I was stalled several times late game. And the stalling made the game stupid easy/boring. Unfortunate
Anno 1800 is 60 euro as cheapest ? .. this game is 10 euro ... seriously this game is worth every single euro. And i found it really easy to play, but i restarted over a few times on day 1 playing it. Its fairly complex to me, and if you make too many mistakes, well you kinda screw. ONE wrong building and wrong moment CAN absolute do huge harm, heck even "destroy". So my advise, go slow when starting out.... dont place 528985915 like this dude did in the video he show chase lol. It will screw you over. Which actualy what make me play it, i like the challenge it gives.
Nice review, i think i will buy the game. And why do youtubers always say "if you want more of this, sub and like"? If one says so the chances of one subbing and liking just go down the drain.
Glad you liked the video, and statistics has been done on this. There is actually a spike in subs/likes if viewers are reminded. I try to only do it once in a video, and see it no different than having an ad midway through a video.
@@IcyyMike Im sure the people know how to sub and how to like. And, if you do so, how about doing it at the end? :) If you made a good impression, people will sub anyway, and a reminder will not be seen as a out of place thing. Do not be too pushy, that turns people off. :)
Small correction: After recording this, it came to my attention that the "Ice Megalopolis" is in fact in the game as end game content.

"Some people like to be punished" LMAO. Anyways, this was a great review to watch after the game caught my eye. Thanks man.
Lol no problem!
Does anyone know how to ride on drones and which drones have the ability to be ridden?
