SA v Wales was my favourite game of the World Cup. That deserved to be the final. One for the purists.
Far from boring....i was entertained for sure
Credit to Wales and Warren Gatland for that as well. South Africa dominated up front, and still they managed to hang on until the last minutes of the game. We always struggle against Wales, so credit to them, for the most tactical game of the world cup. After we won that semi-final, I knew we were going to go all the way.
@@95VJay Definitely. Wales gameplan was fantastic (smart; effective) and it was executed well too. On another day it would've been Wales 19 - 16 SA. What a game.
It was a tough game, the Welsh challenged us physically.
As a half Welsh and half South African guy it was a mixed bag of emotions watching that one, I fully believe the only team other than South Africa that could have beaten England in that final was Wales. So proud of both my sets of boys for their World Cup performances!

Epic team, epic victory!
In my opinion this is probably one of the strongest bok teams I have ever seen. That pack dominated every team it came up against (the NZ game had some questionable refereeing regarding scrums), the back-line was ruthless when it came to counter attack and finishing off moves (except for Willie but he did come right in the end). I can't wait to see how much stronger they get over the next couple of years.
I think this is only the beginning of the Bok-Peak...great results to come!

@@antoinetteprinsloo6976 the pack in general. John was great in 2007. I would take Schalk, Juan, Bakkies and Victor over any of our current crop. But than again this is subjected to ones own opinion. Danie was also a very versatile player and was in amazing form during this period. I would take the 2007 pack over that 2019 pack any day.
