He is really an expert (who is also an automobile Engineer. In one of his posts he said that we should never keep our hand on the gear lever while driving, that damages the transmission hardware and that was an AMT car😂. Truly an expert.
No wonder you are good Rachit, however Renuka is the best ....hope you agree with me. You are a new kid on the block. Renuka is so knowledgeable about automotive industry....I guess no one in India can beat her.
Way back in the 90s my family used to own the estate, i drove a lot of Tata cars, the first gen Indica, the estate was the family car, my first car was a MS Zen but i always wanted a Safari. After i got my sporting license from Chennai, Motor sport Federation of India, i got to drive a lot of cars. The MM Armada was one of them. but the Safari was all luxury with the 4WD. It was a tank. I still wish to get a Safari but i am waiting for them to launch a 4x4. The Safari was, is and will be a great car. Thank you Renuka and Rajiv for this video.
So happy to see Ranuka back to what she does best, miss her car reviews.😊 Amazing nostalgic memories with old Safari😊 I sat in Safari 4x4 that was part of my Uncle's convey who was very senior officer in Indian Army when I went to visit him for a week way back in the day. What a Car, that time as a kid in school was so fascinated with it. Still Love it. 🫠🥰 Best memory Safari 4x4 standing side-by-side with T-72 Tank in the Thar Desert. Just wow!! ☺️👌🤘
Wow man Rachit, you got Renuka with you!! Oh this is so so so so good for all of us!! I m thrilled to see this, also because I just bought this Safari Accomplished 6S last weekend!! holysmokes then comes this video!!! Thank you! Please keep going this way! All the best!
That 3 litre was designated 497SP from the 407 and was massaged to deliver 115PS. The one before that was a Peugeot derived 1.9L unit and was designated the 483 DL. With the KKK-04 Turbocharger it was a peppy unit and fun to drive especially in the Turbo Sierra!
Enjoyed watching your content. Thank you! I come from a lower-middle-class family, and we didn't have a car until 2017. In 2003, I made a new friend who came from a rich family; his aunty was an MLA. He told me about Safari a lot, and then it was like Love without even seeing. In 2017, I bought myself a Kwid. I hope I can win a Safari soon. Do you think TATA would come up with a Petrol version of Safari? With all the buzz around about diesel cars, I am scared to think of Diesel cars.
It can but doesn’t make sense as it will not be efficient, what is the point for such a big vehicle as power will be way less and average will be like 2-3kmpl which will be pretty bad. Same reason why trucks and buses use diesel and not petrol. They will Move to ev, cng but petrol is not viable

Old Tata Safari used to have an amazing road presence and people used to get side whenever they used to see The Safari in their ORVMs. Tata Motors failed to provide that road presence to the new generation of Safari.
I wanted to buy the Safari so bad, but just couldn’t get myself to do it. Compared to its rivals, specifically XUV, it’s a little unpolished despite its superior features and build quality.
Hi there, I watched your videos on RUclips and think you might be able to help me with some questions. I’m considering the Safari, XUV700, and Scorpio N for my needs. I have a large family of seven, and I plan to travel across India-not to extreme locations like deserts, but to places like Ladakh, Spiti, and Manali where there might be snow and black ice. I’m wondering if the Safari will be suitable for these conditions or if I should opt for the XUV700 with all-wheel drive or the Scorpio N with 4x4. I’m leaning towards the Safari due to its impressive road presence and comfort, but the XUV700 is appealing for its performance. However, I’m also concerned about the reliability of Tata cars. Do you think the Safari is reliable? If you were choosing a new car, would you go for the Safari or a Mahindra model?
For a large family of seven.. you need to check between Crysta, Hycross and Carens for proper 7 seats + luggage space. Safari too is proper 7 seater but no bootspace and has rooftop luggage space only which makes it look weird.. Xuv700, ScorpioN are not 7seaters as they have namesake 3rd row which even kids cannot sit on for such a long journeys, and no space for luggage too..
