You’re absolutely right about Denzel carrying Gladiator 2. I actually enjoyed the film overall, despite it being so similar to the original, but character wise I did think it was a bit flat, other than Denzel. He really brought that character to life in a spectacular way and personally I’d throw him a supporting actor nomination.🤷🏼♂️ Wicked…I get the hype, I see the vision, BUT for me the plot is just not that engaging in Part 1 and even though I enjoyed myself overall, I got a little bored here and there. When I saw it on Broadway, it was the second half that really got me, so I’m more looking forward to Part 2 next year. Cynthia is a phenomenal vocalist!! I’ve loved her voice since she performed Stand Up at the 2020 Oscars. Sooo excited to hear her sing my fav Wicked song in the next movie 😮💨 P.S. Do you have Letterboxd??
