It's already weird that he can stick to walls through his gloves but I always just figured it was because they're thin enough for those hairs to poke through. But now we see things like spiderman running up walls or even on the ceiling, and miles sitting down upside down. How does that work?

He doesn’t actually have hairs, that’s just something the Raimi movies made up because it makes sense, spiders themselves are the same. However Spidey’s powers use electrostatic forces which explain why he can kinda turn on and off his sticking.
I've seen a lot of people using different techniques when their costume didn't have built-in soles. For example, cut out an outer sole from their shoe to glue it to the indicated location on their costume and then put an insole inside. Personally it's a bit like playing with fire and I don't really want to risk destroying my costume with that. I opted for another technique which is simply to put on shoes over the suit, however I choose shoes which would have a design which is close to what we see in films or video games. For my costume in the Advanced Suit 2.0 version I have shoes that are close to the original design, I just need to clean them well and then paint them to get the right result.
Spidervese plays on this constantly, miles, Gwen, and hobie wear shoes over their suit. But with Peter B. You can see his boots come off when he first crashes. Meaning they all decide if they want spandex or the multipiece suit.
I did that for my spiderman costume a couple years back. It wasn't the soles from a pair of gym shoes they were just soles from normal shoes and I just glued them on
A lot of time it’s complete randomness; like when Toby does laundry, it’s a full suit with the shoes attached Or like the scene when he unbuttoned his shirt at the festival and you can see his costume as a collar bone level ; they’re in another scene It’s at his neck lol ; Idk why Hollywood does that lol
No I’m convinced he’s barefoot , gives him more feel thru his feet , easier to stick to walls with his feet and his feet and general body are more than strong enough to take impacts that he doesn’t need padded shoes like some old man
he sticks to walls with a magnet type ability. where he can change the coefficient friction of any surface to stick to it. the climbing hairs are just from tobeys version. he dosent “stick” to walls, it’s more of an inner magnet to the walls mass
I have a question 😅 I was never interested in Cosplaying somebody and I never had a spider man full bodysuit like a (diving guy) are these little Gymnastics Shoes included in every spider man suit? (I mean also the the cheap ones for around 50$ oder € in my case) 🥺😅 or is it just in the expensive ones?
Depends on the day and the spiderman. Some suits are for summer some for winter some bulletproof some not some have shoes some just soles and are worn or hidden on the inside of his peter apparell. Ive said too much
it looks so cool when they wear normal shoes over it, like Gwen with her ballet shoes, and in the new movie with her sneakers

they are only in the more expensive specialized ones. Amazon suits won’t have them.
