I live in Nova Scotia and couldn't find the deck I wanted around here so I ordered from Boutique Rollin, was really happy with the service, order came very quick and the deck selection was awesome.
I find that the Bones Brigade reissues look so much better in person than they do in Powell Peralta’s release/press photos. When I first saw the series 14 on Powell’s site I wasn’t sold on them but seeing them in person now has me thinking they’re one of the best colour ways so far. Good job on getting the whole set too! I wanted to but didn’t have the funds available so settled for a Hawk this time around.
I fully agree on the promo pics vs in person...these things look killer. Congrats on the Hawk...always the most sought after. I'm stoked to have the Series but my plan is just to keep the Hawk unless I sell some S12 (Silver) and make room for some of the S14s. I mostly wanted the Series to share content with the viewers but they're so sick might just have to keep a few lol.
@@80slove To be honest, and I know it’s a divisive series, but I’m a fan of the series 13 Hawk too. Again, they looked terrible in Powell’s press photos, but in person I like the pop of the red against the green. I think I like my series 13 Hawk more than my series 12 Hawk but I fully understand that the series 13 wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. As rad as the series 14 Hawk is a part of me still wishes they used the Hawk Claw graphic for it. The OG Hawk Claw black light colour way is probably one of the biggest grails out there for a lot of collectors and even though I still have my ridden one that I’ve had for 30 years (it was my first ever pro tech I bought as a teenager), I’d love a mint one to hang next to it, even if it would be a reissue.
@@bpowick The S13s definitely have grown on me...they just didn't scream 80s but I get the Military theme (Bones Brigade = Mission Impossible, MASH, Rambo, Commando, etc...). I agree with some diversity in the graphics...that's why I think the Cab is cool and will have some value in the future.
I don't know if it was the shops or something Powell Peralta did, but this year was so much better. I like the MASH series 13, but these are way cooler. A friend who's not into collecting picked the Tommy G as the best. Love that they did the Dragon on Bearing Caballero, hopefully they'll do the Mechanical Dragon one of these years. Beefers totally hooked you up with the air fresheners, they weren't part of the deal. I don't know what's with these new bags, but I let all of mine air out for a full day. The bags smell like you opened a can of house paint. Now if they'd just reissue the McGill Serpent. I inquired one time when talking to PP customer service and was told "Not gonna happen" more or less. I was lucky enough to be off the morning of the day G&S dropped the Neil Blender Coffee Break, and was on their website at the moment they went live. I got the red and blue original colorway. All 4 colorways were sold out within hours. I expect to see them on eBay at stupid prices pretty soon. Now I'm waiting for a few upcoming Santa Cruz decks to drop...

Another fun video. Love the “extra stoke” in the first box. I still have one of those patches from back in the day. I got it from joining the Bones Brigade “club”. I don’t remember the specifics, but I think it came a t-shirt, poster, and a couple stickers. Very cool that the shop threw that in for you. I picked up a Mullen and Hawk, but I sort of wished I ordered a Guerrero.

Got mine last week. I’m loving them. This colorway finally pops with the rest of my collection of mostly vision, Santa Cruz and Schmitt. The lime green McGill standard issue from a few years ago and last years cab black light looks killer with the collection too. I’ll be looking forward to seeing which ones you keep.

It really is a killer Series. The Cab seems odd but I think because of that and the lack of reissues that have the Dragon and Bearing graphic...it might end up being one of the more sought after from BB S14.
I'd be curious to know if there are any screen printing imperfections with any of your boards. My Hawk arrived yesterday and especially around the lettering there seems to be a bit of misalignment as well as a few spots where it looks like something has been caught under the screening itself. I have another Hawk arriving soon that I bought as a back up so hopefully that one is better off. So far the quality of the screen print doesn't seem quite as good as the other BB reissue boards I have.
The process for the Powell Peralta Reissues are screening to a Heat Transfer then the Heat Transfer (like a big sticker) is pressed to the deck. I've seen quite a few complaints about this series and the quality of the Heat Transfer process. I'll be doing videos soon on each one...crossing my fingers that they are good.

I won't be skating these. I skate a reissue of my first pro deck...a Dogtown Aaron Murray. I did want a S13 Hawk to skate but never managed to get my hands on one at drop. It was the only colourway I didn't feel bad about skating lol.
@@80slove I had two pre orders cancelled on my without them notifying me day of release. A few friends got their tracking info. That's when I looked into my orders. I scrambled around and managed to find one Lance. The plan is to skate it. Got some reissue Indy S4s that I had around that and and reissue wheels. If I would have got a extra one I would have hung one up. I might just get a Series 12 for the wall if I have to pay the mark up for one. I had the opportunity to order the whole set from a local shop and kind of dropped the ball on that. The series is going to look nice on your wall. Congrats
@@monatomic Sorry that blows when orders fall through. I had that happen last year on a S13 Hawk. The S12 Mountain is sick but it will cost you some extra bills to grab just because it's a few years old now. I'm stoked on this Series but I'll probably just end up keeping the Hawk unless I make some room and let a few S12s go.

Great video! Series 14 is a slippery slope. I got the Hawk and Mountain, then I couldn’t help it and had to buy the McGill. Now I want the Mullen 😂

2 of my local skate shops came through for me. Got 2 Hawk(s) and 2 Mountain(s) from 2 different stores.

The Tommy Guerrero and the Tony Hawk are my favs but they all look great, this is a super sweet series

They are killer. 🔥Even though they aren't an OG colourway I really dig them.
I wanted to pick a favorite but I can't so I'll say 4 are my favorite and the Cab is my second favorite.
