@@turtlebunny8202 No not at all the case in Sweden, in a public place you're allowed to photograph anyone. It's illegal if the photos are considered degrading.
For some reason I've never considered the fact that all the paparazzi I've ever seen are men, and how much more uncomfortable abd even frightening that must make the whole situation for female celebrities. Theres no way you'd always know who's paparazzi and who's a crazed fan
Not their fault we live in a world where women are told to actively wear certain clothes and do certain things to avoid sexual assault, so ofc they would want to avoid unknown men on the street and see them as creeps on autopilot.
@insomiablaze 1 to be fair, it's a lot more likely that a man will rape a woman than a woman would rape a woman, although I'd be scared if I was being followed by either gender.
Fun fact: Rick has been in a Julibee video. It’s a video about 6 married people and there’s one person who’s not married. They figure out who’s not married and they win a cash prize. I know this because I recognized rick’s weird hat.
This series usually challenges my perceptions of people in a certain community. Not this one lol. The way that dude’s eyes lit up when he was talking about someone who died. Then budget Riff Raff expecting us to take him seriously. These people are just losers. I’m sorry
Paparazzi's are basically those little annoying kids in secondary school that never fit in and made a living trying to make everyone else feel as vulnerable as they once did 😂
lelununu here let me break down they’re job- they *STALK* people *WITHOUT THERYE CONSENT* and then take photos of them *without they’re consent* even if they tell them to stop and make money off of it
@@raymondchen4417 Honestly we don't need to see pics of celebrities eating out, or crying at funerals... You don't need to know what they eat, where they go or when they shit. Be satisfied with event pictures and there's that.
I like how most of this series when it's a controversial or marginalised group that's being portrayed when what they're doing is literally harmless Anthony is trying his best to be sympathetic and really understanding but when it's these people that exploit other people in their most vulnerable moments for money and don't even feel bad about it, even he can't find it in himself to be like "hey maybe the world will realise they aren't that bad" becaus yes. They are that bad.
This is the first time, i‘ve seen that Anthony is disgusted by his guests. He’s always open to learn about others, tolerate and even understand them. But here he recognized quite quickly that there was not a lot of sympathy to give.
Celebrities don't want privacy, you don't become a celebrity because you want privacy. All celebrities are somewhat narcissistic and they want the attention. Periodddd.
Nikki X maybe they just want to live out they dream as a singer or some other type of celebrity. Just because the money comes from the people doesn’t mean they always want them to know all about their lives
“Many places in Europe have implemented stronger privacy laws. France has strong privacy protections against paparazzi - they will actually punish a paparazzo with up to one year's imprisonment and a €45,000 fine,”
I think the "If I don't do this someone else will" philosophy is stupid because the decisions you make should not be dictated by the fact that other are doing them, you should stick to your own principles.
@@placeholder447 it's about the argument, not the action. If I dont steal that apple, someone else will. Is it now ok to steal that apple? Not it's not because it's a stupid argument.
Jagoss Again, someone is always going to take a picture of a celebrity, that’s the society we live in. But not everyone’s going to steal an apple. What? Is everyone just a kleptomaniac?
I've never once thought that being a papperazzi wasn't a job. I just find their job choice to lack morals. They could go about it in a nice respectful way but instead choose to stalk and harrass celebraties and there children too. I wish it was illegal to photograph the children and yell out a bunch of stuff to them cause it could really fuck up they mental health growing up.
Most people when I watch these videos seem more human and I can empathise work them but I cannot ever get behind what they do to other people, they lack basic respect for human beings.
I bet you view those rumours about celebrities and share them around to friends and family... In other words you're not any better by basically providing them their jobs.
It's a job like any other. Celebrities are popular and people want to see them in their best and worst moments. Celebrities know before they become famous that this is just one part of the deal. Make no mistake, they love it. They do things to get them into the media to promote themselves, good or bad, all attention is good attention.
Tbh he didn't seem like a bad guy tho. Rick was 1000x worse. I'd rather have Keith be the standard paparazzo. You can't possibly tell me that you wouldn't act the same way.
Jagoss “oh no, the big bad man is coming to take photos of me!” They’re the ones who signed up to be a celebrity, paparazzi is part of the job. Also, you’re saying that it’s okay to hurt another human being so you can get to a meeting? And “invasion of privacy”? Unless you’re talking about the weirdos who go to their home then yeah, but if it’s just out in the street that’s not really an “invasion of privacy”. Stopping in front of my car would be annoying yeah, but just that, annoying. It doesn’t give you the right to possibly hospitalise someone.
5:58 “I work hard to exploit peoples privacy and harass them until I get the perfect photo even though I would hate that to be done to me I’m going to do that to celebrities because their personal life doesn’t matter! and all in the name of money.”
And still we all click as fast as lightning when we see a picture of a celeb with a text like "Taylor Swift's mom passed away a week before her tour start" Soooo... we are not really helping. We in this case scenario means the general we, not necessarily you or me, but we as the human garbage race.
Mari Skulstad Never done that before. Maybe I’m just quirky like that but when I like a singer or whatever the most private thing I look at is their Instagram, which is under their own control. I don’t know anyone who is close to me who does it. I think there are a lot of people who don’t care about those little details
OK, I'm sorry, but this is the first of these videos where I really can't get myself to identify with these people at all. One of them flat-out admitted he'd hate it if he was followed by paparazzi everywhere, yet he still does it to other people seemingly without giving a care. I'm sorry, but my opinion of paparazzi is unchanged EDIT: I know the purpose of the video isn't to change your opinion for the better guys. What I was trying to say is that I already didn't think highly of paparazzi before going in, and I still don't after seeing it. With Anthony's "I spend a day with" videos that's rare for me, as I usually have a good opinion of the people he's talking about from the getgo, or the video offers me a perspective that changes my opinion somewhat. Obviously that's not a criticism of Anthony or the video, the video's as solid as ever.

I feel exactly the same. I can't respect people who don't respect other people's privacy. But the episode was super interesting to me. And it's not Anthony's job to exclusively change our opinion on people. I like that it's a surprise whether I change my opinion or not when clicking these.

The guy who took a photo from a funeral honestly got me enraged. Like the fact he gets good sleep at night not even thinking about how he just took a picture of a celebrity seriously hurting and crying just makes me want to slap him.
Okay that honestly made me so mad how he was perfectly okay taking photos of a celebrity at a funeral. I can understand them on the streets walking around but cmon a funeral is a very private time for a person and if you feel like you wouldn’t like that happening to you then you shouldn’t do that to a celebrity because they are a person too.
Shannon Bristol did you forget there’s money involved. Huge money gains makes anybody lose their morals. Just a job at the end of the day and be grateful you don’t have to work it
Their celebrities dude, most need only to look at their bank account to bring back a smile to their face after a long day of camera flashes ( most anyway ).
Honestly I still don’t have respect for paparazzi. Most of these videos I learn more about whatever it is and learn. But this one made me hate paparazzi more.
Anthony: did you ever not send a photo because you thought it interfered the with the celebrity’s personal life? Keith: never :)…. I’ve shot funerals… A little later: Anthony: can you sleep at night knowing you’ve done that? Keith: I sleep great :)
I genuinely believe that being a paparazzi should be illegal. It completely invades peoples privacy, and very rarely are spreading anything but negativity.

In Germany it is illegal to take a picture of someone without asking their permission first.

I don’t think that’s the case since I see those gossip magazines in stores all the time, with secret pics of german celebs. I think it doesn’t count as a public figure.

For some reason I've never considered the fact that all the paparazzi I've ever seen are men, and how much more uncomfortable abd even frightening that must make the whole situation for female celebrities. Theres no way you'd always know who's paparazzi and who's a crazed fan
In Taylor Swift's new documentary, there's a moment shown where she gets catcalled by a paparazzi. I imagine that happens a lot.
i didnt even think about that.. the breach of privacy and boundaries was terrifying enough on its own but that makes it even worse ):
Nice assumption that because they are men they're gonna attack them or something, like we're human too
Not their fault we live in a world where women are told to actively wear certain clothes and do certain things to avoid sexual assault, so ofc they would want to avoid unknown men on the street and see them as creeps on autopilot.
@insomiablaze 1 to be fair, it's a lot more likely that a man will rape a woman than a woman would rape a woman, although I'd be scared if I was being followed by either gender.
