That’s really why I love this fight in particular , you really feel the generals were another solid team with awesome chemistry, Trevor is just a Belmont and you can’t make one mistake against him or you get one shot as seen so many times.
Love how Trevor’s first choice after losing his magical vampire killing weapons is to run up and start beating the shit out of them with his very normal, very human fists.
I mean he fucks up at least 3 other monsters bare handed in the series. Off the top of my head, he makes two of the monstwrs in the belmont hold stagger, with unarmed attacks, and he rips the throat of a werewolf open. After that shit, I'd be quite confident in my fists
I love that Sypha is not "support" kind of magician, who usually only heals and creates barriers to protect main characters. Huge respect for creators for that.
I always felt as a character in a show she was OP as fuck, she doesnt ever seem to get tired, has unlimited powers and can fire them at seemingly max power constantly. Yeah it looks amazing and creators did great with her fighting style but, why is no one questioning how unrealisitic her powers are? Lol its like shes a demi god but human
@@rowan1275 well her powers are more to do with mana/energy manipulation than anything physical. So maybe she doesn't get tired because she us just weaving and bending the elements to her will. Unlike Belmont who is using physical prowess and martial arts and Alucard who is using swordsmanship.
I think it was more that trevor just gave sypha an opening to cut their numbers in half so that trevor could stop getting 2v1ed since the 2 fighting trevor were quite weak individually They were all killed after getting caught off guard so they were outsmarted more than anything
All it takes in a fight is one moment. The vamp going after Sypha went for a torturous spell over a deadly one. That was the mistake, and Trevor capitalized.
I mean, I think the thing Trevor showed throughout the series was a head for tactics. He doesn't have magic, or hyper speed, or shape shifting telekinetic sword wielding. But he does have an eye for openings, how to create them and how to exploit them.
My fav part of this is the fact that Dagan's armor actually tanks hits. And the fact that if not for his armor he would've died a LOT sooner. Also the consistency of how his armor works. The Morningstar bounces off the plate but penetrates the chainmail on his arm, since the plate covering THAT part was knocked off by Alucard. And Alucard is the only one able to knock off pieces of the armor as he's the physically strongest in the group. Too many times is Armor COMPLETELY ineffective in Anime and in movies, not to mention inconsistent AF.
I mean, that's the whole point of armor and why humans have worn some form of armor in battle for thousands of years....If more vampires simply wore armor and fought in unison, they might have been able to take down the main trio. Imagine if Isaac had to face carmilla, morana and striga in armor together in that room....the fight would have gone a lot different.
@@aldaynehall7865 nah. thats how you layer it irl. wool/gambeson, chain, plate. the chain covers your body in between the segmented parts of the plat armour.
@aldaynehall7865 Surprisingly little actually. While the total weight of plate, male, and gambeson might sound like a lot it’s distributed throughout the entire body. It’s actually entirely possible to do cartwheels in the full set up with a few weeks of training. Knights in full plate would’ve been rather useless if they couldn’t stand upright.
There is definitely HEAVY ATLA inspiration in her movements. Every time she was flying around with the fire jets, I had flashbacks to Ozai in the final fight with Aang. Her ice movements are like a combination of waterbending and earthbending and her lightning is taken straight from Avatar. I love her.
- Fast paced with enough emphasis and time given to inform the viewer about the rules each combatant is operating by without bogging things down by over-explaining. - Really creative power use. - Combat is visceral; everyone is 100% trying to kill each other. - It's not done in a vacuum; the environment influences the action, as does the flow of battle. Castlevania truly has become a masterclass for fantasy action.
Facts! The last time I saw an anime that did this was Darker than Black that's so obscure and forgotten now. Pretty much every fighting anime has to stop every couple of moves to explain every fucking thing; gods I hate that shit
@@couragew6260 Yeah after watching Castlevania, Fate/Stay(too some extent), Darker than black, Black Lagoon etc. Its just that fights are more real when they are actually fighting without talking much. Because who shouts what they are going to do before they do it?
There is nothing that annoyed me about this series. No clichés, no stupid bad guys, no attacking one by one, no overpowered characters, realistic weak points, realistic strategies, realistic violence, realistic love, banter, humour, greed, revenge stories, relatable villains, stellar music, stellar voice acting, stellar parallel and converging storylines and, excluding a bit of season 2, excellent pacing and balance between tension/exposition/fight/calmness. This show is forever in my heart.
Especially the banter "Lucky I decided against killing you and eating you, Belmont." "And that I decided against gutting you, flaying you, and turning you into shoes, Alucard." "What a merry band we are..."
Season 3 was disappointing and the only part that was interesting was Isaac's story tbh, but this show is still what all animated shows should strive to be like if they intend on having action scenes
@@sgt.krakatoa1093 Plot armor is too OP. But yeah, the fight this time around is much more realistic and entertaining, unlike that one time when the trio just easily curbstomped the whole army of vampires along with their generals.
Being able to consistently show off each party member’s skill and specialty without pulling focus to another character is very impressive. I applaud the animators who did this very chaotic fight scene so visually appealing.
I love Trevor as a character. You can see that, being a man with no special powers, he struggles in combat more than his two comrades _physically_ (his body gets more worn down with each fight), but he is a brilliant tactician and an excellent fighter.
So, did anyone else notice that Dragan did the anti-superhero landing? Legs locked completely straight, no bended knees, no fist to the ground, just landing as hard as possible to prove a point. What an absolute TANK
“We are but men, drawn to act in the name of revenge that we deem to be justice. But if there is justice in revenge, then that same justice will breed only more revenge and trigger a cycle of hatred.”
This is just one of the greatest animated fights ever. The choreography, the teamwork, the vampire flippin ripped his arm off before it detonated and chucked it like a damn grenade. This needs to be a video game
@@mac9365 lol I know about the games. It's one of my favorite series. I meant we need a game based off of the show. With Trevor, sypha and alucard playable. And not just a regular vania, but a 3D action game with all the flashy attacks, open areas, team attacks and all the other cool stuff present in the show
Makes you realize that instant weapon mastery is an incredibly underrated strength in a fantasy setting as long as you can make BS overpowered magical weapons. That guy mastered that boomerang 2 seconds after discovering it. With the morning star whip, he has more AOE damage than Alucard. Not to mention faster cast time than Sypha's fire and ice.
What I find especially impressive about the action in this series is that you can follow it. No matter how quick things get during a fight, I can always figure out who’s where and what to focus on. The animation is stellar and the choreography is some of the best I’ve seen, animation or otherwise.
I genuinely wish the action was as easy to follow as Transformers. It was a great action movie, but the action sequences were just too convoluted to follow.
@orangesoda4535 That's actually a good scene. It lets us know that Dragan is not a dumb goon that would let his pride get the best of him and that Saint Germain has so much leverage that he can do whatever he wants.
Yeah, no shit. I don't think a single other vampire managed to hold all three of them off for this long. I mean, we know Dracula could, and probably Varney, but Dragan *does*.
Am I the only one surprised by how tanky Dragan was in this? Like goddamn apparently he has abs made of steel if he's stopping Alucard with them alone.
@@m1dnight426 yeah but Trevor was 2 vs 1 Sypha fought a. Stronger magic user Vampire girl only had her skill and almost beat alucard who is extremely op.
I feel like string vampire and ghost vampire were the most badass. I feel like bone vampire and dagger vampire were absolutely useless. The group probably would have been screwed if anyone else fought them or if the main guy actually joined in the fight instead of just sitting there watching Still great fight don’t get me wrong
Makes you wonder why the hell the generals who were with Dracula were such shitty fighters in season 2. If all these fighters from season 4 were at Dracula side back then, the heroes would have died in season 2.
In the off chance that you want a legitimate answer, *Naruto spoiler* Tobi rips off his own arm when it gets infected by super venomous nano insects, and he kicks the arm at one of the guys he's fighting.
"I terrify them, Sypha disorients them, Alucard goes over the top, and we support him". Trevor put some fear in him by blowing off his armor and arm, Sypha disoriented him with fire, Alucard went over the top to finish him, then got assisted with the killing blow.
If you notice Sypha chipped off some of the armor first with her icicles to which Alucard followed and took it off completely allowing Trevor to get a clean hit. Great details!
Okay, but can you imagine how scared Alucard must have been considering what he went through in Season 3 and being bound like that again with a sharp object coming at him to kill him? It must have been reassuring knowing he had his friends there this time to help him though.
I really loved the characterization of the vampires in this scene. They are so distinct from the vampires in Dracula's court, but it makes sense because they aren't military leaders or rulers...they are the most devout, twisted followers of Dracula who would test the limits of alchemy to resurrect him. If vampire society is the internet they are dark web.
I often see people type about how the power creep retroactively made the generals in season 1 & 2 weaker than these season 4 generals. But you provided a really good justification. Dracula could be a classic vampire with a conventional court of underlings. Perhaps Dracula do not like the idea of these twisted monsters. But there is no excuse for Dragan. He seems to have a classic skill set and is ridiculously powerful. He should have been on Dracula's court from the start.
@@yiklongtay6029 he might've turned Dracula down for one reason or another. The show has said vampires really REALLY respect Dracula, but they also can respectfully decline stuff without him getting mad.
Realistically, given how Dagan was able to hold his own for a while against their 3v1 assault, it's unlikely that any of the trio alone could have taken him down. Mad respect to Dagan.
Late but I also think it's because of how he fought. The other monsters and vampires in the series usually fall back on their magic and enhanced physical abilities. Dagan on the other hand, wears armor. Heavy armor, took at least a direct hit from morning star to break it. His weapon, almost mirrors the two weapon users of the group. A heavy morning star used to create distance when needed and be unpredictable. Heavy enough to do damage and break ice. While he still honed his body. Hell the only one as muscular that we've seen is God brand and as tall is dracula. Fantastic bad guy. Loved what they did with him
I think due to his melee combat nature Trevor would've been the closest match but he has Alucard and Sypha in the bag. And that's really cool since all three of them barely lose.
Okay, not even speaking to the actual fight against Dragan, but fuck did they actually have a solid strategy for these three. From the way it looks, they paired each of the trio against a threat that could suppress the main talents of each. Alucard, a monster of a close combat specialist, was paired against a woman who knew how to force the fight to a more comfortable range, all while using CC techniques to restrict his movement. Sypha was paired against the one thing she doesn't have much experience with, a sorcerer that actually matches her level. Her reflexes are geared toward fast, low-level magic. Of course she'd struggle there. And Trevor? You DON'T come at a Belmont alone. So they send two specialists to deal with the specialist. Given their apparent powersets, they prey on his primary weaknesses: projectiles, and numbers. It was only after Trevor actually used his own brain that he realized this himself. So what did he immediately do? Did what he does best, and incapacitated the sorcerer for a killshot. Sypha then followed through by gutting the vamp lady's range, and Alucard used his monstrous talent for combat and annihilated one of the specialists. And you know... You don't come at a Belmont alone.
it almost seems like creators were thinking through the entire storyline to minute detail, while actually putting a good writing effort even in action scenes. A rarity these days indeed.
I think one of the reasons Sypha was outmatched at first is because the sorcerer could freely fly around and pursue her while still being able to use both hands to cast.
High level DnD mages can create dimensions, kill people with a single word, stop time and more. Let's not even talk about the insanity that is wish... I don't think going from that to Avatar is an upgrade, lol. (Yes yes I know, you were talking about blasting stuff with spells. I just found it funny since I feel that a lot of people don't realize how insane the things that high level DnD mages can do truly are.)
@@Imnospy ya you have a point here. DnD casters can be more powerful than a natuto kage. Madara beat all 5 kage at once and basically had the meteor swarm spell. I think itd be a pretty even fight. Add magic items in and they would have little chance of winning. Wizard using invincibility: fight over They could literally take madaras meteor to the face and be fine
What I love about these three is: Without Sypha, Trevor and Alucard would have died. Without Alucard, Sypha and Trevor would have died. Without Trevor, Alucard and Sypha would have died. Each member is so crucial for success in fights like this. Each member is so vitally important. Each member covers someone's weakness. Each member is VITAL.. They're really the perfect trio. :)
Mmmm. Alucard probably could've beat Dragan by himself but to be honest it would've been a really rough fight. However yeah Trevor and Sypha definitely would lose to Dragan on their own.
I love how much sense the scaling here makes. The council they killed in season 1 were good but not too hard for the power trio because they’re more advisors and logisticians etc. Dragan and these others were the frontline generals and mages. Much more dangerous in a straight up fight.

2:47 - I love the way Sypha casts this lightning spell here. It's like drawing and loosing a bow string and it's just so unique. The somatic parts of her spells in this series is one of my favourite parts, among many.
It doesn't stop being funny to me when Trevor Belmont just starts fist fighting vampires. Or like when he loses his weapons and just starts picking up random things to fight. And WINS
I think the advantage in this is that his enemies never expect it. You are that powerful vampire lord or general, you have disarmed this puny human, and suddenly, he come straight at you and sucker punch you. Most humans at this point shiver in fear or run.
What I love about this scene is it not only shows competent enemies, but the fact that it’s not the powers or raw ability of the Belmonts that allowed them to overcome vampires and monsters, but instead their ingenuity and initiative
The Belmonts are most known for hunting the creatures that hunted humans in the night. And they will allow themselves to die by the hands of humans but won't stop hunting their prey until they themselves die.
I thinks it accurately told. The real battles were fought back then, the newer generation grew comfortable. As bane told Batman *victory has defeated you* The new cast will get stronger over time
Why is no one talking about the team work? Even in the fight against Dracula they were all mostly doing their own thing towards a common goal. Here they are supporting each other non stop
They are, though, you just haven't scrolled much. Also, the fights up to Dracula and against him were still very team oriented, they played as a group and off each other really well.
That's the most logical thing to do any experience fight would do, they aren't trying to play hero or take the glory they just wanna get it done and go have a drink
Can we just put some respect on Trevor for the amount of trust he had to show when he threw that knife boomerang thing? Like he threw that knowing it would leave him defenseless, but he knew Sypha was going to let them come back from being pretty much against the wall
After watching Nocturne and seeing how messy and unexperience the main group are at fighting and making decisions, this is so satisfying to watch. It also shows you how f skilled this trio was.
I'm having the same feelings, seeing this after watching Nocturne. Also, realizing how Sypha outclasses most other humans, it makes more sense when Richter lights the river on fire.

I think the shows points out numerous times without directly telling you that each character is op in their own right but would be dead without the other two.
I like how this is just them vs the Generals from season 2 but even more intense. Like respect to Dracula's council for the fight they put up, but this crew here damn near killed the power trio, and Dragan put up a hell of a fight on his own (sure was nice of him to wait his turn though, but then again from what little we saw it looks in character for him). I mean it makes sense, with how crazy things are and all the scheming vampires do, that only the toughest would make it this far or assemble such a force.
I imagine with that weapon of his it’s more suited to just him fighting. I mean look at the area it covered. He probably wasn’t worried about his subordinates either since they had the trio on the ropes until the split second turn around by Trevor.
OK but also in contrast to season 2 our trio are mentally and in Trevor and syphas case physicaly exhausted from weeks of fighting without rest and probably not enough food and repeatedly seeing just horrifying stuff Alucard is still starting to recover from sumi and taka and though having a purpose helps and Greta and his best friends are back there's still a mad man magician trying to drag his parents from the afterlife into a hermaphrodite body to enact some crazy shit so he's still a bit of his game
I never get tired of how badass Sypha's fighting style is. Most of her opponents could crush every bone in her body with one blow and she still chooses to fight at close range instead of being the stereotypical ranged support. She basically fights like video game character without benefits of video game character like large hp bar and continues

@@EmptyMan000 I mean in their defense, Aang was only 12 and was still learning the elements, and Kora was only 16 just learning to bend her last element. There’s definitely different power scales in the Castlevania Universe as well.

The choreography of the fight is spectacular. It fits the characters as they have been shown to act, and gives a great sense of how well they know each other.
Apparence wise, yeah, but I think the comic style works better in animation, in the movies they would need to either have to change it or heavily stylize it, 2017 tried but didn't worked. But now to think about it, Netflix has Henry, Zack and castlevania's animation studio, might as well do something about it, like a New Gods animation mini series in this style could be really cool.
It took me almost an hour to watch this episode for how amazingly choreographed it was. Structurally, it was a great series of scenes. First, the reuniting of the trio. Taking on a horde as a team with the main theme playing. Awesome. Then they separate, each taking on a small group and a mini boss with unique abilities. Then they regroup to take on a competent enemy squad, who actually give them a run for their money. However, with one act of teamwork, they’re able to knock down the threat like dominos. Then Dragan. It’s the last time we see them fight as a group and it’s an absolute spectacle. And this is before Trevor takes on the big boss, literally calling out Death himself. This whole episode was fucking incredible.
@@bukojoetheslapsoils8273 True. If this was a game Dragan would be the tricky boss you have to beat with skill, whereas Death would be an easier but more cinematic final boss.

This is how fight should be, short, intense, and characters making split second decision. Japan anime fight is good but sometimes it takes too long and too much talking.
The sheer compatibility and intuitiveness in their fighting styles is beautiful. They seamlessly switch opponents after freeing each other without any verbal communication and they never get hit by each other's attacks (like they did in the fight with Dracula). It's like they were never separated. It's not only a great animated fight scene, but a demonstration of how they work as a team.

Dragan easily the second most powerful vampire behind Dracula. He was so cool and overconfident that he didn't even feel the need to intervene at first. But every vampire that had wings in this series was really on another level
dragan is not even an elder vampire. he's comparable to striga but the 2nd most powerful vampire is alucard himself. You may see him as not that powerful in this show simply because the dude is just 9 years old!
I must agree it took 3 of them to defeat him and the Morningstar whip didn’t radiate to his whole body. Only other person able to tank it was Dracula himself. Also watch how he swatted away sypha’s fire. I love Isaac but I highly doubt he’d be able to defeat him
Something I love about fights in this show specifically is how literally nobody talks. It's just combat, power ups, grunts, and action. If this were a shonen anime they'd do a weird slomo / struggle sequence to explain the reasoning behind the attack every 3 seconds.
Sypha is so badass I’m so happy they include a lot of her in battles compared to many others that kind of have the females support but little screen time. It’s so interesting seeing her abilities strengthen the team
One of my favorite fights from the whole show. Takes all 3 of them to take down Dragan as they chip away at his armor with each epic hit. 0:41 and this guy with agility maxed out. Dodging all 3 of Trevor's attacks nope, nope, aaaand nope! Lol what a badass.
Let's just aprecciate how much of a power beast Dragan is. The last vampire to hold his grounds against those three was bloody Dracula Tepes! (a nerfed, starving and suicidal one, but still him)
The silent conversation there:
"This is a bad matchup."
"Trade?"
"Trade."
they have team chat
trevor changed to hand to hand combat with his opponent who specialize with throwing knives smart move

Imagine if Isaac had to face carmilla, morana and striga in armor together in that room....the fight would have gone a lot different.
Plated armour over chainmail.... sounds like it would weigh a quite a bit. Not for a vampire though.
It’s called “plot armor”
@@aldaynehall7865 nah. thats how you layer it irl. wool/gambeson, chain, plate. the chain covers your body in between the segmented parts of the plat armour.
@aldaynehall7865
Surprisingly little actually. While the total weight of plate, male, and gambeson might sound like a lot it’s distributed throughout the entire body. It’s actually entirely possible to do cartwheels in the full set up with a few weeks of training. Knights in full plate would’ve been rather useless if they couldn’t stand upright.
The people who draw the story boards, or whoever it is. They are so fucking creative in how they make sypha use her powers

She straight threw down kamehameha
There is definitely HEAVY ATLA inspiration in her movements. Every time she was flying around with the fire jets, I had flashbacks to Ozai in the final fight with Aang. Her ice movements are like a combination of waterbending and earthbending and her lightning is taken straight from Avatar.
I love her.

I dont like how she can make ice out of nothing. Aside from that its cool

Truly a masterpiece. For me it is the best thing Netflix has done.

I really loved the characterization of the vampires in this scene. If vampire society is the internet they are dark web.

@@slipstream9619and yet he got bitch slapped by Saint Germain. 😅
I think due to his melee combat nature Trevor would've been the closest match but he has Alucard and Sypha in the bag. And that's really cool since all three of them barely lose.
And he willingly tore his own right arm off to prevent the morning star's power from engulfing the rest of him.
such disrespect?. you think alucard wouldn't be able to 1v1him? HA
This is legitimately the most insightful, wonderful summary of a fight scene that I've ever read. Thank you for writing it!
it almost seems like creators were thinking through the entire storyline to minute detail, while actually putting a good writing effort even in action scenes.
A rarity these days indeed.
This belongs on tv tropes' Fridge Brilliance section of the show.
I think one of the reasons Sypha was outmatched at first is because the sorcerer could freely fly around and pursue her while still being able to use both hands to cast.
I like these insights, really made me look at the fight again with a new perspective.

@@EmptyMan000 Aang split ships in half during the Northern water tribe invasion. Korra can create a giant avatar of herself with energy capable of destroying a small city. Aang summoned an entire sandstorm that would engulf the desert he was in had he continued. Aang split and destroyed an entire city block of barracks in one earth bending attack.
I’d say that one of the best parts of this fight is how theres no talking whatsoever. Just pure, unadulterated action and smooth combos.
I love that they fight so strategically and coordinate, like in 1:05 Belmont helping Sypha so she can help Alucard so he can help Belmont
God the teamwork here was just fucking **chef's kiss**
@@ButterflyScarlet I know! I wish we had more scenes of the 3 in this season

I mean shit ... she lit as hell ... she got some bad ass combos ... she dangerous
The choreography of the fight is spectacular. It fits the characters as they have been shown to act, and gives a great sense of how well they know each other.
This "dragan" dude is what steppenwolf should look like in the live action
The fight few minutes of the final justice league fight was like this though.
If this was a JRPG, Dragan is the true final boss and Death is the cinematic final boss. XD
@@bukojoetheslapsoils8273 True. If this was a game Dragan would be the tricky boss you have to beat with skill, whereas Death would be an easier but more cinematic final boss.
@@Crichjo32 Sigrun and Baldur type of deal lmao
2:36 god i LOVE how alucard flashes red once before zooming like the ability has to be charged
Props to Dragan, dude did NOT hesitate to rip off his arm-turned-grenade.
For a side character that got roasted by Simp Germain that's lit af.
"Simp Germain" lmao
Leon Belmont didn't lie: "From this day onward, the Belmont clan will HUNT THE NIGHT!!!"
Ah yes leon belmont... those who only know castlevania via the show sympatizes with dracula... they dunno why the belmonts and dracula are at war in the first place.. what happened to lisa was actually karma for dracula
Haha! My boy's words from Leon Belmont.
Trevor is just an absolute beast. He's coming off already hard battles and was managing to hold his own 2v1 and then goes up against Dragan.
We’ll still that spider woman was kicking Alucard’s ass
This is how fight should be, short, intense, and characters making split second decision.
Japan anime fight is good but sometimes it takes too long and too much talking.
Too much talking is what i find is the most annoying one
The sheer compatibility and intuitiveness in their fighting styles is beautiful. They seamlessly switch opponents after freeing each other without any verbal communication and they never get hit by each other's attacks (like they did in the fight with Dracula). It's like they were never separated. It's not only a great animated fight scene, but a demonstration of how they work as a team.
1:37 to 1:42 has got to be the most amazing sequence of this fight. I wonder how long it took to animate those 5 seconds.
I wouldn't be surprised if that took a minimum of several months.
@@micahfries7878Stupid? It wouldn't even take a day lmao.

Man,Dragan's underrated.
He was handling all 3 of them pretty well,he even took Trevor out of the fight.
Even the spider woman was beating Alucard
I love how Trevor is so Kickass that they needed two dudes to put him down and he is still the one that saved his friends. True MVP
I think he wouldn't be able to deal with the purple energy vampire in a 1v1. She had too much mobility. If facing the wires vampire, he'd probably be able to cut the wires with his combat cross. But it could also get tangled like Alucard's sword. I'll say that the chance of winning a 1v1 is 50/50. He really faced the two worst members of the 4.
You know, for a guy whose prior appearance had him humiliated by Simp Gerhmain, Dragan is a fucking beast!
Lmao simp

Ya, Gerhmain is a verified king of cuckatry. He almost brought about the end of the world, if Trevor didn't stop the defiled revival of Dracula. All that, to just see his lady again.... Of course he deserves to be rejected. Pathetic.
@@davidevans7477 He could have stuck around and learn magic from Sypha to be an actual wizard in Season 3

Gotta give respect to Dragan for taking on the 3 people notorious for killing the most powerful vampire in the world without even flinching
They did fuckton of flinching there
Uhh Dracula was definitely whooping their ass the whole fight. If he didn’t get emotional about fighting Alucard they 1,000% would have lost.
They didnt kill Dracula..did you even watch the show? Dracula was weak as shit for not having drank blood for months, and he was beating them all without trying. In the end Dracula basically did suicide/allow himself to be killed
@Jayy Menace ahhh Dragan is the one who didn’t flinch. I misread the comment as they killed Dracula without flinching.

Love how they showed why there's a reason why vampires are afraid of the Belmonts. Trevor got both is teammates out of jams in 2 moves without injuring himself too much.
I love how people explain Syphas magic. It just lends into that imagination in a world full of magic and its awesome. I'd take it Speaker mages in this world are supposed to be incredibly powerful and she shows that. I love how they lowkey develop combat wise through the series.
All magicians in the show are powerful, Sypha particularly so cause of how much experience she has
I absolutely adore how when fighting his lackeys, the moment Trevor and co get an advantage they dispatch them with almost no effort.
Dragan easily the second most powerful vampire behind Dracula. He was so cool and overconfident that he didn't even feel the need to intervene at first. But every vampire that had wings in this series was really on another level
Bro I hope you are right
I don't want Carmilla to be stronger than him
Uh, no, not even close, he's just old and wise compared to most vampires. Only vamp that would match Dracula would be his son.
dragan is not even an elder vampire. he's comparable to striga but the 2nd most powerful vampire is alucard himself.

When it comes the fights, this show did such a good fucking job at being respectful to and showcasing how powerful each of the 3 are. The Greatest 3
Sypha can do all the fucking badass scenes pregnant, she Is THE WOMAN.
That's how you make a good strong female CHARACTER, not a strong FEMALE character.
I love the fact that they didn’t make her powerful because she was a girl she just just happens to be powerful and a girl
She wasn't that long in the pregnancy so ironically this even more realistic hence why I like her
I love how no matter what type of supernatural foe Trevor is up against... That man is never scared to THROW SOME HANDS!! 🤜🏿🤛🏿
Something I love about fights in this show specifically is how literally nobody talks. It's just combat, power ups, grunts, and action.
If this were a shonen anime they'd do a weird slomo / struggle sequence to explain the reasoning behind the attack every 3 seconds.
2:26 she pulled of a final flash right there

Let's just aprecciate how much of a power beast Dragan is. The last vampire to hold his grounds against those three was bloody Dracula Tepes! (a nerfed, starving and suicidal one, but still him)
