Harvey Weinstein shipped back to Rikers after reports of cushy treatment at NYC hospital: source

Harvey Weinstein was transferred to Rikers Island Monday night after correction officials caught wind of a report that he was being given cushy treatment while receiving medical care at a New York City hospital, a source said.
The fallen movie mogul - whose sex crimes conviction was overturned last month - was released Monday from Bellevue Hospital’s intensive care unit, where he was on a different floor from other detainees, a source close to the disgraced movie exec told The Post.
The move came after it was reported Monday that Weinstein was treated to special amenities like a phone, a private bathroom and a television at the Big Apple hospital, according to The City.
