Nice strawberry sweater and congrats on being a married woman now.
Sorry to hear about your health. Your studio turned out very nice.
Yes ... long COVID ... it's real.
We have those same studio monitors in our church's broadcast studio, we love them. I'm so proud of you Anne. You have come such a long way!
Astonishing enunciation. Every syllable and word so beautifully pronounced. Comes through in your songs too. So lovely to listen to.
Congratulations Anne to you and your husband, wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
Love the home studio set up.
I have been waiting for this moment for 8 months. 😊
Haven’t seen you for a while. Glad you’re still around. ❤
I just wanted to let you know that I have just discovered your creativity. Congrats on your marriage, and I find your videos on reorganizing your home studio refreshingly honest and down to earth.
So this is where it all happens. Way to go Anne.
Hi Anne, I would swap the closet door for a concertina door and extend the desk top with a new board, find somewhere for the stuff at the side of the filing cabinet and replace filing cabinet with two under desk cabinets side by side in the corner were it already lives and this will make the room seem bigger not having a tall filing cabinet, and you can put your printer on the new desk space too, hope this helps! Regards Mike.
In Instagram stories, the closet is always looming sinisterly open behind Anne, awaiting to be unloaded.
I wonder if it's time to accept the destiny: the closet of doom won't be closed again, space to swing door is needed for a better good.
Glad you finally finished your renovations, was looking forward to seeing “Part Three”
Thank you for your patience!
Congrats Anne! I have declared you as one the artists to watch in 2024!
Been following since just after your Spain era.
Really nice to see you're doing well. 😀😎
YOU'RE INCREDIBLE!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU.😊
Thanks for sharing your awesome Studio Adventures, and inspiring other down the road less travelled. Looking forward to more of your heavenly harmonies :)
Great video Anne! Congratulations on your wedding(s), sorry about the covid :-( and great job on your studio! Really impressed with how far you have come!
(And please don't say that you don't know anything! you are a fantastic artist and very bright!)
Did all six or seven Annes all get married at the same time at the same places to the same ... that must have been very confusing to all six or seven caterers ....
Another great BTS vid. I love these!
Take the closet door off its hinges. Put up a curtain. Store the door behind the trundle bed.😊
Great Job 👍
I eagerly awaited the video, and it turned out very beautiful. One can see the hard work and love that were invested. I find the cabinet eerie; it's a place where the paranormal can manifest.
I know David Shrigley through a mutual friend - showed him the video, he's happy you're happy with the print :)
What?! I was not expecting that. I'm kind of embarrassed now. I love his work and am so happy he decided to make it accessible on Etsy!
Yay congrats! Love the strawberry sweater
You can extend the rack on your desk to both sides, but attach the excess length to hinges. So if you open your cabinet door, you can swing your rack over your table to fully open the door.
Congrats!
Cheers from an old fan from Argentina.
For maximum utilization of that space... Replace the closet door with an accordion folder, use the wood door as a desktop extension and perhaps hang the speakers on the wall ?
👣🕊👽
Looks good
Wow !!! Un Maravilloso estudio❤ 👏👏👏✨👍💯
Thanks for the kazoo!
Hi Anne, Why not extend the desktop towards the filing cabinet, over the top of the amplifier? You could attach it to the existing desktop with a couple of battens. It wouldn't be srong enough to sit on, but would be fine for normal duties, and it would go up and down with the existing unit. I would think the lifting mechanism would be plenty strong enough. (Leave the existing desk where it is, and just extend the one side). I recently saw one of those desks used as a lift for a paraplegic woman to get up to her bed in her tiny home/van. If it can take a person's weight, it should be able to cope with a few speakers etc.
Looks Great Anne!
Do you want to talk with me about Anne?
If you put the amp on a roller, with a strap, making it easier to move from the front, then you could expand your table over the amp and gain the neaded table space
I like the combo of 21st-century tech and the old-fashioned touches ... keeps it real.
I want a t-shirt that says, Not An Influencer ....
Great video Anne. Was so fun to watch and you have a great clear speaking voice too. If the music thing doesn't work out I see a career for you at IKEA as a space management consultant... Love the orange juice vase!
Oops! While I was gathering the strength to write a couple of thoughts, more than 100 comments have already been collected in three days. Well, that's great!
I wanted to say...
No. I want to exclaim: Annie, you're amazing!
I like the way you do everything. You treat every case, even the smallest one, professionally. Your studio is a work of art! That's right! Because you created it yourself, like a painting, like a masterpiece, stroke by stroke.
I've heard that a talented person is talented in everything. It's about you, Annie. Your talent doesn't end with music, it shines like a rainbow over everything you do. Keep creating, create new masterpieces, make the world more beautiful!
If you have a decent magnet, you have a stud finder!
Just wave the magnet along the wall up and down with a sweep of about 20" or more, and it'll eventually want to stick. You can verify, by searching lower or higher about 18" with the magnet. Then look for the next stud 16 to 24" away. Easy!
Отлично получилось! Хорошая работа! Мне нравится! Классное видео получилось! Круто Круто!!!👍👍👍
Ага
for this speakers to sound linear you need EQ 800 hz Q 3.5 -3 db in DAW as monitor correction at least. there are malamin absorbers this can buy in white or light gray and are more efficent as the black foam
Those little goldfish magnets would have found nails in the wall into the stud for you. 🙂
I'm sorry to hear about the long Covid. Nasty stuff. Many congratulations on your weddings!
Definitely liked seeing the continued progress, and giving some ideas for my own office in the future. Also Congratulations on your wedding(s).
The round speaker can go on top of the square speakers
A bit of work but...
Change the closet door to a bi-fold. It will use 1/2 the space. Then you can look at using the recovered space.
Or even better, a pocket door, although that will be difficult if she's renting.
I love the Strawburry17's!
I'm very enjoy your good vocals even just a talk shows also chill as bgm.
Looks nice! Maybe mount the monitors on the wall, and place the round speakers on the shelf?
re you closet door: I had a similar problem with the door to the head on my small boat. I sawed it in half vertically and attached the two vertical sections back together with hinges, so it only comes out 1/2 way into the space. might be a little weird on the latch side, but if it really doesn't have to close and lock, you might get away with it.
thank you for being there. I hope we can sing with you
I was looking at your walls thinking you should have cleaned your walls before you painted. But then i noticed that I actually need to clean my monitor.
Your studio looks great! PS: I've got a closet just like yours! Take care.
Can you wall mount the smaller speakers?
Looks good to me Anne short of a room stretcher that actually works about as good as can be
have you think to remove the door and install a curtain doors . could be pretty and let you use the space for your monitor. also you can move the paper shreeder under the desk or somewhere else to shift the desk about 16 inch. If your monitor stand is sturdy enough you can also put the monitor on a wall mount support on it. have a nice day
Congratulations on so many levels, Anne! I hope your next year is as full and productive as the last- except maybe for the Covid thing; I have been avoiding that one since well before my 72 birthday. Be well, many happy returns to you and your husband. Hope to see the Clones well occupied soon! Speaking about the Clones, did they do for Bride's Maids?
You've impressed me. Well done on the DIY. I get it. I'm remodeling my house too. Sincerely, Akerace Drill. Sheet rock, mud and dust everywhere. Strawberry Fields Forever.
Ann congratulations 😂🎉 I wish you great Happiness.
Thank you for this. Great video.
Btw, you look fantastic without the makeup on. Stunning. :)m❤
I think you can put the second monitor above the first one
Perhaps have the two monitors in a vertical configuration
Simply put the second screen above the first one. 🙃
Buffalo pillow! Chicken nugget! Orange juice vase!
Can you give a link for the cheese it magnets? Love it!!!
Yes! www.etsy.com/listing/1049628649/goldfish-magnet-set
Glad you, re better. Have missed your happy face.
Looking forward to more of your material.
BTW don't bother with a stud finder, they don't work!
Do you want to talk with me about Anne? I have more "material" of her if you want to see
Enjoyed your video as always. I could listen to your voice all day and night. I think the room is small for you and your accompanying equipment.
Is there any reason you can't just put the computer monitor on top of the Kali bass unit (presumably laid on it's front or back)? You could put something like a sheet of dynamat (rubbery sheet/tile usually used for reducing rattles and vibrations in car door panels, etc...) in between or anything that would damp the vibrations from the bass unit into the monitor. Probably puts the display at a less ideal viewing angle, but I'd guess it's worth trying.
You also seem to not really be considering the space underneath the desk (for any of it that would make sense, ie the rack units). Or you could look at raising the entire desk shelf a couple inches or so, and installing/having someone install a single rack space on each side at the top, enough to put the bass unit in the middle/underneat the rack units as necessary. I don't know if it's possible to find a single space rack rail for the interior sides, but honestly it would probably be better to just use the 2 existing rails on the exterior ends, and use a length of 2x2 lumber or something to support the interior end of each rack unit (or cut up the current supports that the rack ears are attached to). Which gives you the extra space behind the rack ears to fit in the bass unit. It would probably take an experienced project carpenter like an hour to do all that, which you could probably find on any number of "task" type apps. Unscrew the rack rails, screw rack rails to outer supports, detach center supports, use some of that material on the ends for any raising, and whatever is necessary from the remaining for inner supports for the rack units. Bob's yer uncle. And I wouldn't worry TOO much about the "ideal" distance between bass unit and speakers. Finished is often better than perfect. Especially as a second set of monitors, you'll be using those as a translation reference to get a different perspective.
I'm working on my own music space at the moment. Not really dealing with any aesthetics for the time being (although I did just get a nice looking rug that covers most of the room), just getting it set up and functional. I have too much gear to cram into too small a space. But the plan is to have a space for mixing/video editing/admin work (computer desk my dad made almost 40 years ago with monitor stands on each side), a 3 tier A frame keyboard stand with my most used stuff, another desk for modular/analog/desktop synths and other "toys", modest sized guitar and bass amps, and some wire rack shelving for storage. It's also being converted from a bedroom so there is a pretty big closet for storage as well although some of that will probably still be for clothes, etc...
Anyway, you have some really nice videos, figured I'd chime in and offer some possible solutions that seemed to be overlooked.
Solo entré a darle like, lo veré después, con tiempo y calma.
Remove the door, if you rent, put it back up before you move out. Doors fit under beds.
The shelf had a board on the top, but it can be made wider if it had a board on the top and bottom. Also the wires can be ran sideways instead of straight down.
If you don't like a board on bottom you could just put a wider board on the top of the existing board.
If you want a door, you could request that you be allowed to switch to an accordion style door, which also come in nice looking wood.
Did you try hanging the lemon picture over your desk, just above the TV / monitor screen ?
With the speakers, I'd probably just put the Kali on top of the Yamaha. Maybe put the Yamaha on their sides.
With studs, remember that outlets and light switches are always mounted next to them. You just have to figure out which side. Sometimes you can literally knock on the wall to find them - the knocks will sound more solid when there's a stud there. Standard spacing between studs is 16 inches center to center.
Assuming those IKEA shelves have a lip, you could buy two more and mount them upside-down above the panels to "clamp" them in and keep them from falling over.
I don't blame you for putting off painting. I hate doing it. I just painted my bedroom. I just wanted a very cool off white, but the finished product turned out almost like a faded baby blanket blue. 🤬 And I'm still sleeping in the living room because even a slight amount of paint odor will give me a headache.
Next time get a larger room 😉 But enjoy this one at least for a while, so much work!
That's the dream! Space is at a premium here in SoCal
Wall mount the Yamaha’s?
Wall mount your monitors
Steelcase Amia? Someone's rolling in money...
I bought my previous chair for $40 when I moved into my first apartment and kept it for 10 years while it fell apart. Now 90% of my work takes place from a chair, and my neck and back aren't getting any younger! I thought I earned something nice 😉
Can't you just mount the bass unit on the wall (maybe on a shelf) behind the screen? It seems very flat an thus could be flat on the wall. Another option might be to put the small speakers on top of your bigger ones and aim them downwards.
I suppose you didn't walk 4000 miles to the venue of your overseas wedding, perhaps your flight could inspire you to write a song about the 'romantic skies'.
Does that sweater mean you're going to sing Strawberry Fields Forever in your new studio?
🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
Wait. Is he hammer tapping the paint closed "Eviction Notice" pink?
How many props are floating around at Reburn's?
Hahaha yes it is! The smiley vase is in the director's studio, the Live Laugh Love sign is in the back of my closet, and I still have the black dress from the black & white segments too
Congrats on your marriage! Also, where did you get that awesome sweater?
Sorry I’m 5 months late. Looks like you need at least 55” of width for components on you desk’s rear area. Consider getting a pair of 5-foot laminated shelves, one as the base the other as the top, separated by vertical panels like you currently have four of. Sure, they’ll stick out like wings, but it’s better than buying a wider desk. That would give you five more inches to work with. Need more, get a pair of 6-foot shelves, and cut off what you don’t need (assuming you or your guy have the right saw). I’d also consider moving the desk right so the edges are the same distance to the filing cabinet on the right and to the edge of the open door on the left. Deano
Hmm... What did you do in Clearwater Florida in 2010?
Hi, the round speakers should be on the other speakers, problem solved. Next…?
14:31 why not get a wider desk ?
That soundtrack though.....
Do i have a great musical talent? NO, but i have a stud finder and a putty knive 😉
the instruction for stained glass: "Lead, Don't lick it"
How did I miss she got married? 😇
Congrats!!!
Anne, we are curious, what are you blurring out when you are on the bed. you seem so intentional about that particular location in this vid? Just asking, i mean, no where else in this vid are you being so secretive.?
My guess would be foot fetish freaks.
Allow me to be the first to tell you about a little website called wikifeet
Ugh!!! what in the name of ham and cheese are you talking about?
@@AnneReburn Expand? pls
The fine name is podophilia I think. And since internet is the wonderful place where everyone respects eachother there will be absolutely no places for people with such philia to gather.... yea right... That's my guess at least. The rest I leave up to your imagination...@@charlieblackwell1628
It’s pretty simple: People (men) on the internet are creepy; Anne censored her feet in order to not have them fetishized online
Didn't the clones help you ?
Those lazy bunch? HA!
You have 2 brain cells ??? I'm Soo jealous 😂 I only have one 😂😂😂
They're small but mighty
👍👍👍👏👏👏👌👌👌
Are part one and part two Annes in your choir?
I am now happy to be here with the lovely Anne.😍 I can read my name.😉😃
5:00 Розовый молоток?! 🤔 Ох уж эти девочки!!! 😂
Twitter? When was this filmed? It's X, on the twitter domain.
0:24 🧐
Can't be having that show up on wikifeet
You look like The Joker in Tim Burton's 1989 Batman in the thumbnail
That's so kind thank you
Your almost more fun when your talking than when your singing.
Move that bed out of the studio. How often do you have guests over? How often do you edit? They cannot stay in the living room for 2/3 nights?
you grew up in bartlesville?
What did the window do to you that you have to tell the window: “It’s Curtains for you”.
👍👍👏👏👏👏👏😄😄😄😄🎂🍾💝
