Animation quality is super important for 90% of people who rate anime. No matter how good the story, characters, or plot are, if it has average animation, it will never reach the top 10 in today's time.
Yeah, I've attempted to watch 90's shows like Cowboy Bebop as someone who started watching in 2017 but for whatever reason I couldn't even bother to finish the 1st episode because of the art style.
@@tobynorrisThat's not really what we're talking about. Cowboy Bebop objectively has good animation. OP discussing shows that have mediocre animation quality

A lot of people say space exploration is a waste of resources and usually say something "we can be using this money for the public good, solving homelessness, etc" when in reality that money would never go to solve actual issues we have. Most of that money would find its way into the pockets of friends of politicians and billionaires. The rest would just be spread out throughout our bureaucracies. The real reason so many politicians and pundits spread around defunding space exploration is because it shows how effective PUBLIC spending is. They want to get rid of it because it's a constant reminder that their policies of privatizing everything aren't more effective at anything except making their friends money.
So maybe focus more on solving corruption instead? "We should stop attempting to ever do anything useful because there are things that would get in the way of that" isn't a new or profound idea. It's just defeatism. Corrupt politicians and billionaires aren't some immutable constants that need to exist for the universe to function, you are buying into their bullshit by believing they are.

I was having a bad day until I clicked this video.
It's a little better now. Thanks guys.
The boys look so good this episode!!!!
Garnt with his Shonen anime answer:
«I absolutely have enemies.»
Joey bullies Fairy Tail more than Sword Art Online
Animation quality is super important for 90% of people who rate anime. No matter how good the story, characters, or plot are, if it has average animation, it will never reach the top 10 in today's time.
Yeah, I've attempted to watch 90's shows like Cowboy Bebop as someone who started watching in 2017 but for whatever reason I couldn't even bother to finish the 1st episode because of the art style.
@@tobynorrisThat's not really what we're talking about. Cowboy Bebop objectively has good animation. OP discussing shows that have mediocre animation quality
Meanwhile, if I don't find the characters or story compelling in the first few episodes, I'll move on regardless of animation quality. Good Animation = Hype, which seems to be the most highly, if not only, valued aspect of most animated shows nowadays.
@@tobynorrisOld ≠ Bad
@@Ash_Wen-liSee that's where I think OP is wrong. Most anime fans wouldn't recognize quality animation if it dropped a piano on them, they just make a superficial judgement of old art style = bad animation.
I’m surprised Frieren is considered mega popular. I remember when people were saying “Frieren who??” And had no idea about the show even when it had like 6 episodes out lol
It started to get hype after episode 7-10. Because people get hyped of the fights against demons. I started watching it because I saw a clip of it and it was amazing.
I believe that what started the Frieren hype. And after starting it, people started to realize how great the story is.
Popularity needs time to build up. Except very few exceptions most shows that are now giga popular started slowly.
@@erwindavid2859 yeah, that’s exactly when it really started to get peoples attention. I feel kinda cool for actually giving a watch earlier, but it was From people having nothing but good things to say about ep 1 and 2. Although Its nothing compared to the manga only lads lol
@@RaiyanReetom it’s pretty cool to see a legend in the making. Especially when it just happens like overnight. I feel it’s kind of a rare for a show to just blow up midway like Frieren, or maybe my memory is just bad and it happens all the time lmao
@@Ritsu362 I mean, Demon Slayer became popular after episode 19. MHA wasnt really that popular in S1, and JJK was like this cool new thing that manga readers were talking about for like the 1st 15 episodes of S1. There are always exceptions like AoT or SAO ofcourse.
We need a cooking show just so we can get Joey to learn how to cook, because he wouldn't bother unless it's for the content lol
NASA is a money-hungry bureaucracy too. Why are people who build rockets immune to corruption?
So maybe focus more on solving corruption instead? "We should stop attempting to ever do anything useful because there are things that would get in the way of that" isn't a new or profound idea. It's just defeatism. Corrupt politicians and billionaires aren't some immutable constants that need to exist for the universe to function, you are buying into their bullshit by believing they are.
@@YamatoTre based on everything I've seen and heard nasa is extremely lean and efficient with it's funds and has given us a lot of very important tech in addition to the knowledge of the universe we gain
I mean that’s completely irrelevant to the argument.
@@yogtheterrible Based on everything you’ve seen? Read your original comment again. Unless you work at NASA, you’re not telling me all that money goes where it’s supposed to. You’re literally using your own distaste for the admittedly foolish governments of the world to justify the moral solidity of a corporation you know nothing of the inner workings of. Why are you so confident in NASA? It’s weird. They’re just people. People are all greedy.
the question about looks where they said that women would propably say strongly disgree, i totally felt that. one day i feel like a bad b, the other day i think i am ugly.... there is no inbetween... xD
I can't belive they are on episode 195.
Masterpiece part 3 😂😂😂

How did the boys let that one slide?
When talking about wasting money I always like to remind myself america could half their military budget and still have the largest
"Connor is aging at the speed of whites" yup, that's it, I really felt that
