In South Africa, they would phone the home phone to confirm you are there and then break in. If there's no answer there's no more interest to invade the house because there's nobody to torture while they inside

Hook the radio up to a timer so you can have 4 hours a day randomly where the radio is on. Change it every two or three days if possible and presto.. sounds like someones home.
When I buy new things like TVs or things of that nature that come in bigger boxes I hang onto the boxes and store them somewhere just in case. You never know when you may need it again. Say something goes wrong with the TV and you need to take it into the store for the warranty or your moving. You have the original box to use that will protect it from damage. 😀 Oh and the fake camera thing. Well most burglar's that do that for a living know which cameras are real and which are fake. Lol

My apartment is already pretty safe. Here is why Becouse I live in Bulgaria that mean there is a big chance I live in a commie block. The commie block is taller and instead of rectangle with is not tall but big it is more tall with 16 floors and it is very thin. The fact that we live on the 16th floor mean that no one can enter via window and no one can see if there is someone there. Also because people like drinking rakia which is alcohol they sit down on the main entrance and watch who is coming as a guards. There is also camera at the first floor where the entrance is showing who is entering the building at good angle where when entered the burglar have to turn left to the elevator revealing his face if he don't wear a mask. If he wear a mask then our alchoholic "GUARDS" will stop him if not then there is another line of defense. Ofcourse you think it might be easy to enter the apartment. Well the only way to enter the apartment is through single door which well it have 3 locks meaning that the best thing that burglar can do is to wait and try open it or break it. Becouse the walls are soviet-era flat design then you can hear other people and the neighbour apartment will be able to hear it and call 112/911 if you american.
You see you got a nice yard with cameras they see a drug dealer hiding money/dope in the floor boards this guy grew up in the hood alright probably just the neighborhood
I dont warn people about the dogs if they are so stupid to break in they deserve to get bitten by a dog. I'm like go on mate I dare you. Break in see how you get on. Although I live in a tiny town where stuff like that never happends. And I would care much about shit getting stolen as long as no one takes my dogs❤
