Enjoy your retirement and all the travelling you'll be doing .... I'm sure it's a little intimidating when you first start filming & posting your videos! I'll keep checking in on you & seeing what you're up to! Have fun!
@lynnedixonsilva9961 thank you for watching and following. It’s a learning curve. Some of these people act like they have never seen a RUclips video where the title doesn’t really match the up. We never said these are the reasons we are leaving. Saying we are back pedaling OMG😂
A big hello from Australia, keep enjoying your life, don’t worry about the people who can only talk and no action, you are both brave and have the courage to follow your dreams.
@joycef2499 how nice your comments are! It was a huge step. Quitting our jobs, selling everything, leaving our family and country. We haven’t changed our minds or been homesick for the US. We are embracing the new experiences and meeting new people. Our next videos will reveal some of the people we have met. Thank you for watching!
What a wonderful experience! Thank you for sharing your perspective and experiences with the world. That is a lot by it self. I have thought about it but not sure if I would be able to put my life experience out for everyone to see. So, I commend you both. All the best for you on "your" journey of life.
@randygulleyjr2180 thank you for the compliment. It’s a learning curve. It’s not only to make some spending money (one day in the future) but to also document our adventures for our family back home!
Good luck with your future in Sicily. I spent a few weeks in Malta last year and loved it. I might visit Sicily next time I want to escape from South Australia's Winter. I like your style guys, seems genuine and not hyped. Keep Well and have fun in Albania.
Love and respect y’all’s genuineness,..Had me fooled on the previous video too… So glad you’re loving it !.. It’s encouraging,.. blessings! Ciao!!😂😂😂❤️
I'm sorry you received hate on your last video! Sadly, internet land isn't very forgiving or good at understanding subtlety. I'm glad you're taking it for what it's worth! I'm enjoying following your journey (St. Louis born and raised here, will be moving to Italy in the next few years, pursuing citizenship now). Would love to see a little of the places you're staying during the 90-day shuffle and anything you're comfortable sharing about your language journey. I'm learning Italian, too, and it's difficult! Take care.
@tip0019 How is your RUclips channel doing? Please link to your very successful channel, since you seem to be very sure of what should happen on this channel.
@@WriterJenOnYT lol, who said I am busy with a channel, just a viewer. You can go all negative or just take my advice. whatever. I happened to watch a vid before about showing the appartment. So was not click-baited. I just say I understand the general confusement. There is no reason to deny that. You can do what you want. I saw the last vid and you two seem like a lovely couple enjoying life, completely different. A click-bait doesn't mean you have to act like you don't like stuff for a joke. Have a nice day.
Before moving to Sicily I spent quite a bit of time in Albania ( a long time ago) and found it wildly beautiful and the people very giving , even when they had so little. Are you spending your 90 days out of Schengen there? If you get a chance to drive Vlora to Sarande on the wild coastal road it takes you into Llogara pass/mountain range. Absolutely breathtaking with some gorgeous beaches
@lindachartier2504 thank you for watching. I hope you subscribe. Where do you live in Sicilia? We are loving Tirana, but miss our home town of Balestrate😢

You guys are so funny "we have never been retired before" 😂 We hope you enjoy your adventures and we hope to meet you when you are back in Sicily! Stay positive, ignore those negative comments ❤
I just watched the other one before watching this one and I was indignant of the comments I read. I didn't think you were complaining and felt that you were sharing your experiences. Enjoy your travels. Have you thought of Spain? Try after August so that you don't experience the heat and the immense amount of tourists. I would head to Andalucía but any part of Spain is beautiful.
@jennifernewell2523 thank you for your kind words. It was a long day week. I absolutely love Sicily. Thank you for watching. We can post any of our air B&B due to the house rules, but will definitely be showing the town. Good luck to you and your journey. Love that we are able to document ours!
Don't apologize for previous content. Some people only want to comment negatively on anything they see. I was hoping to see Albania in this one... Are you going to be there the entire 3 months?
It’s probably because normally, in Italian , the use of the word “shock” is in regards of something negative..plus, as you might know by now, the vast majority of the Italian people don’t speak English very well and are not able to read between the lines a language that they barely can understand in written form, let alone during a conversation…
I went back and read the comments from the last video before watching this one. Sheeesh, some were nasty of course! The anti-American comments I understand, but man. LOL I personally knew that you guys were just pointing out differences and not hating on Sicily. Anyways, I have also been doing the Schengen Shuffle for the last couple years. I am looking to get an Elective Residency visa hopefully soon. Originally I was going to do the 90 days out in Montenegro but I ended up having to go back and forth to Wisconsin. But I did spend 2 months in Costa Rica last fall, which was amazing! I'll be leaving Sicily at the end of this month and returning in Dec. or Jan. Perhaps we will still have a chance to meet for that cappuccino one day since our Sicilian towns are so close to each other. Safe travels and I'll be looking forward to your upcoming videos! Ciao, Paul
