In terms of OG maps being demonitised, I don't feel this will be a big issue even though it is quite unfortunate for the companies that put lots of work into making it. People will still create chapter 1 maps even if they can't collect money from it simply because of their popularity. RIP to any season after chapter 1 tho...
It makes sense tho as to why c1 map remakes can’t be monetized. Epic Games made the map originally, so it’s still their creation.

4:50 - As someone who uses stage 4 hybrid all the time (this applies to stage 3 too), I could say that this has been in the game since late chapter 1 and isn't applied to just thunder... It basically tracks the saxophone to the default position of a human charecter's mouth location and has a bit more emotes that has this applied to it, but the saxaphone is the most noticeable

But fortnite people are creating stuff with eufn which is owned by fortnite so they are gonna get sued
there's a lot of skins that the sax doesn't quite work with, this being due to the fact that their heads are at a different height and such, since Epic reuses the animations made likely for the default skins of their chapter (and I mean, who can blame them, no way you'd make different animations for each and every skins that doesn't have human lips)
I hope they expand the memory limit cuz I want to see crazy maps like some fusion of the 4 maps. (Avoiding collab stuff so it doesn't get rejected/banned like Boderlines, Batman, Deadpool, etc )

The reasons why Chapter 2 and 3 maps are banned are because they’re technically Epic Games’ property and any profit made from them would be stealing.
Also modding isn’t allowed right now to prevent copyright.

0:55 OG Chapter 1 Maps are publishable but not allowed for monetization, via this special exception, hence not a "ban".
Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 Maps are not allowed because of POIs linked to other IPs, as the permission(s) for commercial use granted to Epic Games from other IP holders does not trickle down UEFN.
Epic literally said themselves that the Islands THEMSELVES are copyrighted/ owned by themselves. Even if you get rid of all the collab stuff, you'd still technically be stealing Epic's work, not all the other collab owner's.
