When Kashmir said “What do you know? You’re just a kid!” I realized he is just a kid…a kid that lost his whole family even with Nezuko alive…it just wasn’t her..soon the hashira aka his friends died/will die….and half of his lifetime in the story he’s been pushing himself training and probably getting smacked in the face by A.M Urodaki and pushing himself….way worse than what that man had gone through too😢
I know right ...the most heartbreaking thing was when tanjiro didnt fight back , he just held his hand and smiled , that's a true hero right there even if no one else sees
Exactly, that is why I love this edit and scene so much. Because yeah, he is just a kid, and he has lost so much. He lost his family, Nezuko is still with him, but she’s a demon, and then Rengoku dies. That all happens when he still is just a kid, not even 18 years old. He has gone through so much at such a young age. It must hurt so bad. I wanna give him a giant hug.

When Mr rengoku died I was very sad because rengoku is my favorite hashera and he should of not died and he was a charming person
Now that I think about it, this may be my favourite edit of all time. It just matches the parts of the song so well, the flashbacks were there at the right time, and not to mension the smoothness of each transition. Perfectly executed video, and I genuinely feel like I'm about to cry after seeing tanjiros face expression when he thinks about his dead family :( Imma sub to u just because of this video!

it’s incredibly unfortunate what im abt to do for an impulsive reason because my sad little mind is not ready for the fact that we have two arcs left of kny
but..
it really sucks that tanjiro lives under the impression of ‘i could’ve prevented this, i could’ve stopped this, i need to be stronger’ hence the massive, and personally, concerning amount of training the __16-18__year old does just to ensure people who don’t deserve misfortunes don’t experience what he’s gone through.
we have to remember that Tanjiro was **14** when he discovered his deceased family, 16/17 when he witnessed and heard rengoku’s final words/smile/breathes.
that’s *incredibly* traumatizing, and the fact that people diss on him makes things worse.
yes, we understand tanjiro isn’t the only one to lose their family at a young age or witness someone they looked up to die either, but what makes it so significant is that tanjiro grew up in the mountains, where he only needed his family and their charcoal legacy. so, expectedly, he doesn’t know how to cope with this trauma-nor does any other character usually-which causes him to train relentlessly.
he trains just to protect those weaker-and stronger-than him
we all know that if tanjiro hadn’t been stabbed during the mugen train arc, it would’ve been 2v1 with that 50/50 chance of rengoku dying maybe tanjiro, we know that if tanjiro had been home the night of his familys masscre, he wouldve fought to protect with his life
*Tanjirou doesn’t have the heart to see innocent people lose loved ones. He can’t handle seeing someone suffer like him.*
