this video is about bts and army's journeys and struggles against every hardships that comes our way. highlighting the fact that bts received discriminations from both south korean industry and western industry. which in fact, has a very similarities in patterns.
i made this video through the long hours of editing done by myself on adobe premiere pro. the narrations were written by me and narrated using balabolka text-to-speech voice over to add comedic value. this video is also transformative in nature, heavily edited with sound effects, background musics, video effects and transitions, reaction memes, visual text and audio commentaries, written and moving subtitles, and more. all were selected and arranged carefully by myself based on the topic, thus creating a distinctive alternation of the original clips. all falling under "fair use" by adding significant comedic and entertaining value.

Well... I'm in that day. 😂 I'm not that updated anymore with their shows and doesn't listen to them that much like before but I'm still grateful for them as a fan and I still support them. I will even protect them if I have to. My "fan energy" wasn't just the same like in the earlier years, it just became more chill. It's not that scary guys, it kind of happens with some older fans (I don't intend to brag) of whatever band/group/artist. But the loyalty is still there lol
the fact that other fandoms, media, the companies infact all of the korean industry along with the whole world tried to sabotage bts and bring them down as if they were all dying to stop bts from growing says a lot about how hard it must have been for the boys to handle and i have huge respect for bts . they have come so far . :(
For real! I know it happens to other artists as well, but I'm surprised how low people can act, actively searching ways to put others down 🙄
We humans are like crabs. When stuck in a box with others, instead of climbing up together, we pull down the ones who actually are trying, with or without help, to get out 😔
The kmedia constantly downplayed BTS's achievements(and continues that even now), but they were monster rookies and even won many rookie awards. They were outselling Big 3 since 2015. And the way kpop stans changed their narrative from "no daesangs, no opinion" to "daesangs are not important" because BTS started sweeping them is just ridiculous! In a few years, the same situation is gonna repeat in western award shows and Western fans will become kpoppies pt.2. As soon as BTS start winning those awards, they will say awards have lost importance. I'm just waiting for that day.

That i💔 event was such an embarrassment 😂. Couldn't sell even 700 seats and then doing buy one get one free. "Gp FavOuriTe, BB hot 100 no.1, OrGanIc artists" they said. BTS has announced concerts and now we'll see who's the real deal.

@@simmi8464 I heart radio festival, several artists who have had no.1 'hits' like Olivia Rodrigo,24KGolden, Saweetie, The Kid Laroi, Addison Rae, these are just few names I remember. They had reduced the seats to 700 due to covid but still couldn't sell out. They were so desperate lmao, buy one get one free 😂. Funfact, BTS attended this same festival in 2019 and tickets sold out within 15 minutes and 90% of the audience was ARMY. Yet radio says BTS don't have demand in US so they won't play their songs.

I don't understand why Korean public is sleeping on the issue with their baised media. I mean these boys are your national treasure. If you subtract her radio points, that song would go down 20 ranks on the chart. And the amount of playlisting she got on spotify! She was everywhere, ads, all types of playlists , "discovery mode" playlists! I had her blocked still I used to get her songs in recommendation. Her label is very shady.

They have earned everything they’ve gotten, despite others being jealous of their success. They’ve worked long and hard for their success. Yes, I am a new baby ARMY, but I am looking forward to many more years of their wonderful music. Their music is healing. I have severe arthritis, and I hurt a lot (and cry a lot). Their music helps me feel better. And I know many, many, many more ARMY say the same. Their music brings a special energy. BTS, this ARMY loves you always!

There is a lot of misinformation and misinterpretation of Zach’s Butter interview going on. In all fairness Zach Sang has recognized BTS since their first breakout into the US market in 2017. He did so much research on them, even back then, as evidence by his well thought out interviews since 2017 and on. He was probably one of the only interviewers in 2017 and 2018 to give them meaningful, thoughtful, creative questions about their artistry and humanity and treat them with the respect they deserve as people and as artists. He even gives them his full attention even when they speak in Korean, one of the only English speaking interviewers to ever do so. Even to this day he still does the same and still outshines nearly all the western interviewers. Please, before bashing him or getting onto him over this one collab question, think and watch his history with BTS and compare his interviews all these years previously with interviews from other main media entities, especially when BTS was first breaking into the US in 2017/2018. Zach treats BTS with the utmost respect and care, professionally and personally, and it can be seen in all interviews he has done with them and the questions and statements he has said to them. It would be good to not forget their history of friendship in light of one question, as well as not putting Zach in the category of basic western reporter reporting on BTS, because he is far from it.
Sometimes I think armys do act on impulse and jump into conclusions, if we get into arguments, blacklisting every one even who supports BTS, it could be a problem for them and us...
The Bieber collab thing had been headlining news articles at the time so it was a fair question. Basically if he didn't ask it he wouldn't be doing his job properly. Poor Zach. I haven't been watching any of the recent interviews but he seems like a nice, genuine kind of guy.

I agree. I am from the US and anything that challenges our world standing has to be trashed. To tell you the truth, I hadn't watched the Grammy's in on 10-15 yrs until I heard BTS was nominated. Like all things The Grammy's thought they were the deciding factor in the music industry. But those votes were bought by record companies just like the big three in South Korea. Like most things, everything starts out good until the corporate dollar gets a hold of it and then it rapidly goes down hill.
and people ask us why we're so overprotective of them? Because we know what they've gone through, and we've gone through it too, we know immediately when somethings a red flag and want to keep our boys away from it because we don't want them to go through the same bullshit again.

The guys have gone through enough, and I know how hard it is to admit your an ARMy many days- I live in a place where most of the community (mostly close-minded extremely traditional conservatives) only know of toxic ARMY's because they are the only ARMY's who say anything- so there is a lot of prejudice here against BTS and ARMY and you can literally lose your job for saying you're an ARMY. Stan someone who stans you back. I made the right choice when i decided to Google them. They taught me to love myself, that it's ok to fall and I will be me. That i don't need anyone who cannot respect me. They taught me to stand up for myself and made me realise that whatever life throws at you...toxic friends, insecurities.... I will rise in the end. I am so late in the fandom but I have grown to love them so much. I remember crying after listening to Love Myself(I still do!). So thank you BTS and ARMY for being you and supporting me, being there when i refused to let anyone enter.
Such a succinct and informative video! I don't know why non-American artists have to work so hard to get their feet in the door. BTS sell out stadiums around the world, do heavy promotions (ie: Butter. One song) and they are questioned by American artists, industry insiders and the like. They blew up and gained a wider audience with Dynamite and all of those nay sayers wanted to be their best friend. Billboard had the nerve to ask about manipulating sales in an issue that featured BTS and did side sales to make money for the magazine with pics from the photo shoot. BTS have learned from their early hardships so they work harder and it shows. They've done so with grace.

It's perfectly fine to have a opinion of your own, but ridiculing someone based on that is absurd.
BTS is one of the most hardworking and dedicated artist in the music industry and that's the sole reason of the fame and power which they have now.

Oh gosh, people are so envious of BTS, my seven kings are legit on what they do. Even though, they sing others artist songs, so what! there is nothing wrong with it as long they follow the guidelines to buy the rights to sing it. They compose their own songs as well because in this groups we have genius writers and sometimes they sound much better than the original artist who own the song. They put so much soul on their voices, performances. Unfairness and discrimination is a monstrous bitch that my seven kings have to face, no matter how hard they work.
