@@vappex was it hard learning and how did u start i would love to know bc i wanna make my own games and stuff in the future so ill need to know 3d stuff hmm starting with blender my brother gonna learn how to program so we good just give me some tips on what videos to watch and stuff or what free or not free tools to download
Well, I wouldn't say it is hard to learn Blender, but definitely its a time consuming thing. When I started I was also focused on game design, and I got super addicted to it, I loved the feeling of working on something that I really liked (I was doing a PS1 style game) and this feeling kept me super motivated with blender, in about 4 months I already had 900 hours of blender on steam. Working with games gave me alot of general knowledge with 3d so I would recommend you by starting with this area, it gives you some solid base for pretty much everything else you can do with Blender. About tutorials, I really cant recommend one source or video, you gotta start doing your own thing that eventually you gonna stumble with a ''problem'', that's when you going to search about this problem and learn about it, fortunately Blender has a massive and super cooperative community, so finding tutorials for the most hidden topics shouldn't be a problem. The only good tip I can give you is to not focus on the tools your are using, but on your knowledge about then instead, for example, alot of people when they face something that they're not really good at, they try to find an addon or a software that can do that for them, that's really bad, its only gonna slow your progress down, Blender has everything you need right away, so focus on learning the basics as much as possible! I hope that helped, and good luck!
This is stunning. I'm extremely impressed and out of words. You did better job than ones I know who work full time in professional studios. Keep it up...
This is really awesome! I for some reason imagine this being what David Martinez from Edgerunners would look like if Arasaka decided to keep him alive and turned him into the next Adam Smasher
A master of his craft. Nice work man! Amazing how you do everything so well. You also really have great knowledge of muscle shapes, directions, proportions etc.
Im working on a video showing and explaining my entire workflow with another model, stick arround, should be up in the next feel days. Thanks for the comment!
Just vanilla Blender bro, I tried addons for hardsurface modeling like Hard Ops before but I didn't adapt that well. The default tools blender has for poly modeling works fine for me.
the multires modifier is way more efficient in a clean topology, if you apply it on a dynotopo mesh, you i'll be unable to get to higher levels of subdivision due to lagging and consequently will not be able to sculpt fine details. And no, it doesnt ruin the topology, after sculpting you can apply the shape to the original lowpoly mesh, and bake the more high frequency details into a normal map or a displacement map.
i have a question, i see you bake texture in sp for skin, you put a normal map in the normal channel, so how do you bake? use low poly mesh as high poly or import high poly? bake all texture except normal?
I bake only a normal map with all the high frequency detail in Blender, you can do this as long you using a multires modifier to bake the high subdivision details into the lowpoly base mesh, then you can export the normal map to substance to help you create a more detailed texture.
Hey! I was testing a displacement map and comparing with the normal map, since the displacement needs more geometry to be shown I had to subdivide a little, at the end I stayed only with the normal map to make the render faster
Skills 100, talent 100, patience 1000, substance painter..100... Perfect score.
Thank you for the comment!! 🙏

Thank you so much Razor, I really appreciate your comment!!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
I really like your workflow my dude. Excellent stuff. The guy though gives me more of The Surge vibes than Cyberpunk. Earned a sub.
Thanks alot dude!
nice work and music !
you're really good at this!
10:35 amongus, all jokes aside i really learned alot about how to organise my work flow from this video.
Having a clear pipeline workflow was my biggest problem back in the days, so I'm glad I could help you with that!
Nice "soundtrack" 😎
CRAZY ARTWORK🔥
Thank you my man!

Thumbs up.

can you create videos for character creation tutorial step by step with small detail information.
this video help me a lot but can't see small information like what shotcut keys you using , etc.

Very cool! Please tell me, how long have you been doing 3D modeling, did you learn it somewhere, or are you self-taught?
Thank you! I've been learning Blender by myself for about 2 years now, I started doing game design stuff and recently moved to character creation
@@vappex, Thank you, excellent result for two years, you are doing very well!

Really nice🤙🏼. Are you a full time artist?
Thank you dude. Not yet, I just study 3d in my spare time
Why do you retopo before sculping on multires? Does it not ruin the topology?
the multires modifier is way more efficient in a clean topology, if you apply it on a dynotopo mesh, you i'll be unable to get to higher levels of subdivision due to lagging and consequently will not be able to sculpt fine details. Hi hi! I have a question. Why do you use subsurface for your retopology? I'm a beginner so is it a preference or like a life hack?
Hey! I was testing a displacement map and comparing with the normal map, since the displacement needs more geometry to be shown I had to subdivide a little, at the end I stayed only with the normal map to make the render faster
Hey what software did you use for hardsurface texturing?
I used Substance Painter
Wish it was slowed down so people can actually see and understand what you’re doing
Over subsurface kinda reduced the bump shader
How much time or day spend for this creation completed
This character took about 35 hours to be completed
