I think that a major plus for these bags is that you can actually hang them above your bed and not worry about banging your head on hard overhead cabinets when you get up while sleeping left to right.
We have a Vauxhall Vivaro van (VW T4 size) and am looking to update the inside after 8 years and these look a good option, though being based in Europe we cannot get these. So it's DIY for us, thanks for the info.
Matt have you ever had a bag fall off the J Channel while driving? Do they make any noise banging against the side of the van when you're on a dirt road? I really like the fact that you can take them out to pack, unpack or use for laundry.
I have had one unhook on one of the hooks while bouncing around on a dirt road. It didn’t come all the way down, just one hangar. I don’t notice any noise from them and I drive around with them every day.
Great review! I saw that Campo has all black bags for sale now with blacked out logos as well. If I'm not mistaken I think Van Wife used to sell the Campo bags then "made their own", when Campo started selling not through them anymore. That being said the Van Wife J-channel is cool.
The van wife van is way cleaner without the logo.. the big ol pink logo I’ve seen was obnoxious if you have a well thought out color scheme in your van
We are trying to create this setup with the campo bags, but I’m struggling to find the correct J channel. Does anyone have a link or any insight? Thanks
The two bags sheikh the same as each other. They definitely provide a weight savings vs hard side cabinets. I’ll Have to do a hard side cabinet vs soft bag video.
Please go on doing these kinda videos. Everybody can make a van tour. But the niddy gritty details nobody knows about before hitting the road in a van the first time... they matter an you talk about them. Thank you!
Probably should cover what you're hanging them on
That’s a pretty good point! These are on J channel from Van Wife components. I’ve used L track to hang them as well. Both work well.
@@AVCRIG Do you just screw the j-channel to the fabric covered wood panel or does it need to mounted to ridnut/plusnut to the van frame?
@@jcol12 we be mount outs with screws through the wall and into our wall ceiling support. Mounting with plus nuts would work too though.

Absolutely!
Thanks, AVC for this review and feature!
Our pleasure! We love your products and would love to review more products in the future!
Light-weight and no hard edges. Genius!
They are a great addition to every build.

They look amazing!

I think you’re in the know. 😎
May I ask where the J track comes from for holding these things?
May I ask which bar that is that holds the bags and do you sell the bars? Thanks

Yeah I think so too. Definitely a deal breaker for me. When I found Ed could get them unbranded I was on board.
If you want no logos, just reply to your email confirmation asking for that!
Is there a company that makes a hard sided version of these components that can hang on the same mechanism? If so, could I get the vendor information?
How are these mounted?
Love it!
Thanks!

I can’t grab a link at the moment, but look on Van Wife Components
@@AVCRIG hey Matt, so the Campo and Van Wife use the same J channel for mounting?
@@craigj6277 that’s right.
You can use l track with the rings it’s just not as clean
What hardware did you use to hang them with Thanks
My question as well. Have you found anything @steveschaefer5835 ?
Nice
Wilford Mill
Are they hanging on L Track? Have you seen the bags on Rover Vans?
They are exactly the same as a pet carrier.
I wouldn’t hang my dogs on the wall, but to each their own. 😂
weight savings?

Ours is a little lighter because we don’t use wood as a stiffener, but a honeycomb board.

Thanks for the kind words Martin. We have a a lot more to share.
That looks like garbage..
