- Purchased a new snow blower this season due to the death of my yard machine snowblower. I was so impressed with the ease which it went through a 10-12 inch layer of wet snow, that I had to document it for others to see. You never know if the device you just bought will do the job. This video will show you what the 2410 can do. I added the specification web page from Troy bilt at the end for your review. Enjoy.

The background music is legit

Dude do you did not need the background music playing, but if you had to have it, the volume on the background music was way too loud

I have the exact same machine and i love it! BUT,,, if you wanna make it even more of a beast put an impeller kit on it!!! Will throw twice as far and you can blow slush, literally! Cheap and takes a little time but like a blower on steroids!!! Made my own but you can find on amazon n ebay. Either way i love my 2410! Good choice!

Nice review! Feedback: the background music is exceptionally distracting.
The background music makes it very difficult to hear in enjoy your review.
Now there is a copy available without music for you.
Loose strings on jacket.. not safe while running moving machinery!
Jack you are correct. In this case there are no moving parts when you release the hand controls. Everything is a dead stop. But I agree about the safety issues related to loose clothing around moving parts.

Nice review! I'm looking at this particular model. It's affordable and doesn't break the bank.
Run it dry every year before you put it away for the season. Add some Seafoam to the empty tank as well... you will thank me when you go and start it the next year.
After few minutes I can see it's a good review but the music was so difficult to focus and not really need it that I couldn't continue but thanks anyhow

How is this machine, 3 yrs later…?
This machine took on a 12 to 16 snow storm without even noticing how deep the snow was. The road edge was just a bit of a challenge because it had froze up a bit due to an unusual situation where the snow started to melt then froze up again. Last two years have been so lite of storms that maybe I used it only a couple times. Between seasons I drained all gas from the machine and then filled it in the next season. It started right up. It still looks brand new - I do keep it in my garage. Hope this works. Sorry about the delay in my comments.
Let me add a comment five years later. Boy the time goes by fast. I used the machine today 3/11/2023 on about six inches of snow. It started on the first pull of the cord, seldom do I ever use the electric starter because it starts so quickly.

2 things... You might wanna cover your neighbors license plate for legal and safety reasons and that music has to go lol it's as loud as your voice.
Because nobody can see it with their eyes when its sitting in the driveway or in a parking lot or driving right?

Plate is considered public, hence why its in front and rear of a car. 🙄🤦♂️

The license plate issue has taken care of itself. That vehicle is not on the road any longer and the plate has been turned into motor vehicles.
get a Toro snowblower... the Troy Bilt has problems shooting the snow 5 feet in front of itself

Dude... the music is not necessary.
My company bought me two of these this year for commercial snow removal these things are junk I absolutely hate them every which way possible. For another $300 they could have went with a Ariens 28" SHO Deluxe. The Ariens would have been way more operator friendly
This person probably bought the wrong machine for the job. One must always buy the right machine for the environment it is used in.
@@wjbtms he definitely didn't buy the right machine. He didn't know what he was doing and didn't communicate with the person that is doing the job.
I quit 2 months before the Covid shutdown in NY. Basically been on my own since then.
Just wait until you try to use this after 1 or 2 seasons and it won't start, and you think that the two year Troybilt Warranty is going to help you.. LOL.. when you ship it back to the company and they say , "it needs a new carburetor.. that'll be $300 and no its not covered under the warranty"... That hasn't happened to you yet? LOL.. It will. You'll see
Bradm027 ive had mine for 5years n use it commercially n not a single issue other than some shear pins!!! Maintenance is key!!!
Use stabil in the last can of the season, siphon what you can, and run it til it stalls. 10 years and counting!
This is not a commercial grade snow blower my company pick me up two of these to clear out around three public libraries these machines are horrible. A lot of stopping just to adjust the shoot. Have to keep two hands on the handlebars at all times cannot operate the machine with one hand. And everything around the shoot is completely plastic I'd like to see how that holds up in a severe ice storm. Even the skids on the bottom of the auger unit are plastic.
@@joeellis2692 Sorry you had problems using it for a commercial environment, not sure that is the market Troy Built had intended it for. I am now at year five, it started first time at the beginning of the season, it handled the snow from an ice storm just a week or so ago without a problem. Still works well just like what I demonstrated here. 3/11/2023
If only you knew how simple it is using carburetor cleaner 3 bucks,
you would not be so cynical and you would be proud of yourself for saving $300
