  • The Ohio State Bar Foundation 2023 Fellows class developed a video series highlighting how civility fosters happiness, empathy, and stronger communities. In today's divided world, civility-respecting others, understanding different perspectives, and ensuring everyone feels valued-is more important than ever. The 6 part video series asks us all to consider what it means to be civil, offering perspectives and tips to help you think about how you bring respect and kindness to your interactions.
In the fourth civility series video, OSBF Fellow Carasusana Wall discusses how our intentions can sometimes be misunderstood due to our words, body language, or tone. She encourages us to think about how we communicate and whether our actions match our intent. By being more mindful, we can reduce misunderstandings and foster clearer, more respectful interactions.
