Yeh, this whole series had a lot of the typical mainstream stuff in it. The worst part of it is, that he didn't even bother to make it a "one per franchise" for each video. For example seing 2 Mario AND 2 Pokemon credit themes here was a huge disappointment, and it would've even almost been 2 Mario, 2 Pokemon and 2 Zelda themes.
As Jules said early on, it's about the individual pieces of music, not the games they came from. The games that got the most play just meant more to people and had consistently good music during their series.
Chris Mudd That doesn't make any sense and you know it. There are a ton of other factors, that play into "how many people play which game?" (for example: age restrictions, advertisement, genre, release date, etc.). Especially when it comes to people who are actively following Family Jules's channel. Jules has *a lot* more videos on Nintendo games than other publishers, especially in the recent time, so those communities are most active here.

I don't know why, but this video made me tear up. I just found this channel today and I'm seeing in the comments that this is the end of your themes series so I know what I have to binge watch now. I'm definitely sticking around.
Who in the world requested 7 GRAND DAD of all things? lol, well, anyway, what a fitting finale for this series. I mean, what better way to end a series on video game themes than with video game credits? I'm actually super surprised that the credit theme for Undertale didn't make its way on this list, since the last couple lists have had Undertale on them as well. And the credits theme is really good. But in a way, I'm sorta glad it wasn't included, just to give other amazing credit themes a chance to shine. Though, should Through the Fire and Flames really count? Sure, it was used as the ending to Guitar Hero 3, but it was a song that already existed rather than composed for the game it was in, unlike the rest of the credit themes.
I did. In fact, I made the post on Reddit encouraging people to vote for it. I'm glad SiIvaGunner got recognition in this, even if we didn't make it into the actual video.

Out of all of your medleys this had the most songs I wasn't familiar with and even included a song I can't stand (Dragonforce), and yet it's probably my favourite. I think it's because credits music usually goes for a particular vibe and frequently include medleys themselves so this just felt like one long credits song. And of course it was fitting because this is your last one (yes I'm aware that was intentional). All of the medleys have been fantastic though. Hats off to you good sir. Also I'd forgotten just how amazing the Mario 64 credits music was. So good.
Dear lord, that was glorious from start to finish. From your vocals (the others' vocals, too, but yours always surprise me the most) to the transitions to that flawless cover of Through the Fire and the Flames, in which you even outperformed whoever was playing the game, it was fantastic to listen to. Honestly there is no better way to end a video series than with that song, it's always been my favourite "The End" song. I've listened to most of these medleys at least 40-50 times and they were a big part of my year overall. I know a lot of us criticized you for not choosing certain songs but I'm glad you stuck through it and delivered fantastic videos! The sound quality was never disappointing (except for some reason top 10 video game intros is quieter than the others). Anyways thank you again and I hope to see more videos from you in 2017!

I don't know why, but this video made me tear up. I just found this channel today and I'm seeing in the comments that this is the end of your themes series so I know what I have to binge watch now. I'm definitely sticking around.
Who in the world requested 7 GRAND DAD of all things? lol, well, anyway, what a fitting finale for this series. I mean, what better way to end a series on video game themes than with video game credits? I'm actually super surprised that the credit theme for Undertale didn't make its way on this list, since the last couple lists have had Undertale on them as well. And the credits theme is really good. But in a way, I'm sorta glad it wasn't included, just to give other amazing credit themes a chance to shine. Though, should Through the Fire and Flames really count? Sure, it was used as the ending to Guitar Hero 3, but it was a song that already existed rather than composed for the game it was in, unlike the rest of the credit themes.

Out of all of your medleys this had the most songs I wasn't familiar with and even included a song I can't stand (Dragonforce), and yet it's probably my favourite. I think it's because credits music usually goes for a particular vibe and frequently include medleys themselves so this just felt like one long credits song. And of course it was fitting because this is your last one (yes I'm aware that was intentional). All of the medleys have been fantastic though. Hats off to you good sir.
Also I'd forgotten just how amazing the Mario 64 credits music was. So good.

From your vocals (the others' vocals, too, but yours always surprise me the most) to the transitions to that flawless cover of Through the Fire and the Flames, in which you even outperformed whoever was playing the game, it was fantastic to listen to. I have really enjoyed these Top 10 medleys. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about them at first but then when I listened to the first one that you did, I was amazed at just the thought of how much time and effort that had to have been put in. These medleys are amazing and I hope you consider doing more of these. I feel that we would all be very happy if you did.
And thanks to you I hope to one day do exactly what you do. Even if it is on a smaller scale. At this point for me, it would be for my own enjoyment.

Thank you Jules for this top 10 series and I hope in the future we get to have more interaction with the process of making your videos. I've listened to most of these medleys at least 40-50 times and they were a big part of my year overall. I know a lot of us criticized you for not choosing certain songs but I'm glad you stuck through it and delivered fantastic videos! The sound quality was never disappointing (except for some reason top 10 video game intros is quieter than the others). Anyways thank you again and I hope to see more videos from you in 2017!

I think this might be my favorite one yet, there's a hell of a lot more diversity in the song choices in this one compared to previous medleys.
This might be the only place on the Internet you can get both Through the Fire and Flames and Super Mario World at the same time. Although I'm excited to be proven wrong.
