air in the stadium is cold, it's electric, the moment before the announcer speaks, there's that feeling of anticipation.. eventually there's the smell of flames, and pyrotechnics, and some alcohol. always an amazing time
I saw KISS play in 1996 at Donington Park in The UK. The lit up logo at the back of the stage was so bright I can *_still_* see "KISS," spelled out in little purple-white dots every time I closed my eyes. It's burned right into my retinas. Good times!
What’s sad is that all the inexperienced concert goers that missed the show because they were too busy trying to capture the Kiss experience on their lame ass tiny phone screens. Put that shit away and watch the fkg show!!
Sorry, but I saw several reunion shows from 1996-2000 and Peter was not good. He was great in the 70's, but that was decades ago and he's committed the unforgivable sin of sabotaging shows more than once, so he's had his chances. KISS deserves better and Gene and Paul know it. He simply hasn't taken care of himself or his playing. Eric Singer is a true professional and is 10x as good. Ace was fine but even he had to be taught his own licks for that initial reunion tour. And who taught him? Tommy Thayer, the guy in the band now. Just sayin....
This I consider an inspiration for an intro for a metalcore band that goes: "You wanted metalcore's best, & you've got metalcore's best! From Gothenburg, Sweden, please welcome - Amaranthe!"
I saw them in Allentown PA and took my youngest daughter - who lover rock n roll, unlike her older sister - to her first KISS concert. With the way they opened the show I thought I saw her eyes pop out of her head. We had a blast and loved the event.
It's not just because he's getting older! He blew out his voice years earlier & didn't take enough time to let his vocal cords heal, after his 2011 surgery.

Fans are wondering, who the hell is that singing :)
I saw them back in the summer of ‘57. I’ll never forget it. Me, my wife Coco Beans, our best friend Qopo and our pet dog James and cat John

Lip syncing in last tour? Can't believe I wasted my money to see them in Vancouver in 2019. Ah well, I guess everyone gets old.

The two SS in KISS are the same as the SS in Nazi Germany.
