    Hi great video. Thank you for the review. Can you tell me, if the case is bending the both front corners when the MacBook Pro is lying down on a table with no pressure or touches? I stopped at 3:58 ,but I can't see it clearly.
    Thank you in advance. Greetings from germany.

    Ive owned Android all my life until my laptop went and I saw the stunningly beautiful MacBook Air 15 in the starlight color. I was looking for clear cases as well and bought an Amazon brand. My fear similar to yours is that the hard shell of the case will scratch the body of the laptop.
    I think a protective sleeve with some minimal protective bumpers inside would do the trick. I think this is the best of both worlds because when and if you decide to travel outdoors everybody doesn't have to know that you're carrying a Mac.
    Thanks for sharing and ENJOY your Mac.

    In these cases, dust particles can get trapped between the laptop surface and the case, causing scratches on the MacBook. Be careful!

      Too true! I've given up using them now. Bought about 3 or 4 different brands and ALWAYS ends up with scratches.

      @@GeekyStuffthe only way I managed to stop it was putting a skin on the laptop and then the case. But since I took the case and skin off, I’ve not noticed any scratches at all.

    How's the case 3 months later? I've heard of certain cases(incase) bending the screen when it's closed, is this the case with tech21 too? Noticed any dust scratches so far? TIA.

    • @GeekyStuff
      @GeekyStuff  Месяц назад

      No, this case is perfect. No bending of the screen and no scratches. I think it's also the reason you can buy this case off the Apple store too. That tells you something

      @@GeekyStuff That's great to hear, how's the hinge holding up? I heard that with cases, you usually can't keep it at 40° as the additional weight will pull it down. Is that the case with this? Also, good content, I subbed.

    What’s the deal about putting on a case on the MacBook, I’m receiving mine soon and hearing mix experienced on those cases but Apple is selling those too. Did you experience anything negative about this particular case?

    Bought the same Tech21 case for my MacBook Air M3 and realised the case was slowly weighing my lid down. With the case on, my MacBook would just close the lid if I left it open 1 inch apart (a weird test I know, but that never used to happen a week ago). With the case off, the lid seems to hold its own even millimetres apart. Sure, this is not your everyday scenario but I'm just thinking about the long-term damage to the load bearing on the hinge. My two cents worth.

    • @GeekyStuff
      @GeekyStuff  Месяц назад

      Yea I use my MacBook Pro normally lol! I think Air has a lighter build? I use my MacBook fully open and close it when not in use.

      @@GeekyStuff Lol! I don’t use it that way either. But it was just plain scary on what it could amount to in the long run. Plus I’m using the 15” so that’s just bound to happen. Anyway, great video nonetheless. Too bad it didn’t pan out for me.
