What an awesome trick, Linda!! 😃👍👍👍
See this is why I'd call gardening artful, since you need to have some good creative skills...😉
So therefore using plants as an tool to express your artwork is just another proof how artsy you are...😍 great job, garden queen!! 🤗❤

Your garden cheat is a good idea. I do something similar for Christmas in my large garden pots. Some spruce or fir branches, holly, magnolia and a red bow.

Linda, you are the best at what you do, when you said “fake” I thought you were going to pull something artificial from there 😂 phewwww! I love that idea, it’s going to die anyway in a few days but it could add instant glory to a needed spot!

And when it’s cool, and slightly damp, it lasts forever!

You just gave redemption to some pesky nadinas. Your cheat is ingenious. Especially like the temporary pot filler idea. I'm the one snapping the berry clusters off before they fall and germinate!

I cut small evergreen trees and stick them in pots for Christmas. They look like they’re growing in there. Then I put lights on them.
You could have fooled me with those branches.

Great idea using artificial plants in the garden, especially if there are too many roots to actually plant in the spot you want. Artificial plants have come along way in the last 20+ years.

@@LindaVater Now I understand why your cuttings took too rooting. If they were not artificial. LOL... I need a brain today.

Do you have a video on trimming your nandina domestica? I have one that is about 8 feet tall and the berries are making it bend. I don’t want to cut it down because I want the berries over the winter. Luckily, I have a beam to my porch that I can prop it up against. Soon that won’t be enough.
