I want someone to make a track that's designed around 99,999cc, that actually drives cleanly.
a single straightaway would become 69 million miles long. I dunno if a limit exists on a circuit length (but the desert bus map exists so I guess everything is possible)
@@basedvalie1869 I know there's a limit on triangle count... but considering the "stretched"" tracks exist, I doubt there's much of a limit.

Note for Koopa Cape for speed mods: there's a KCP right at the first straight away in the tube, and then the next one is at the very end of the tube, so if for any speed mod you die after the drop into the tube and you respawn at the end, you can simply drive backwards (even by simply holding B) and touch the boost panel at the end of the tunnel; that's the very edge of the KCP you skipped, so you can safely finish the lap (no need to re-enter the tube). It should come in handy in speedruns! 👍

I'm definitely a fan of seeing the Speedometer; I'd actually use this setup for every video, not just the speed-focused ones. And the smaller facecam also allows to see more of the minimap!

I don’t know why but Waluigi just cruising on Moo Moo Meadows while the other 10 CPUs are flying off the track is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while
The CPUS only can seem to drive so what normally if they are using the Spear bike for some reason. Both Waluigi in the mushroom cup and Rosalina in the special cup had success with that bike

It’s funny how I can get extremely bored when watching a 10 minute video at school, but I can sit and watch these for hours
You should do a "Gun Game" of sorts with NMeade or Mayro or any guest! Where you both start with 100% chance of pulling a really powerful item (eg shock or bullet bill), and whoever wins race between the two moves onto the next item down (so guaranteed star for example), then down again (mega/golden) until they get all the way down to Fake Item Box/Blooper, and whoever wins first (between the two players) with the worst items wins the game!
Additional term, more optional: Placing last in any given race means you get setback one item, and placing first means you move TWO items down, to incentivise targeting players outside of your rival :)
I think that'd be really fun to watch, but it could be messy in terms of modding the game like that

Busted, this mod is! I like the speedometer below your camera, Troy! It can really calculate the exact amount of speed as you speed, drift, and brake!
indeed it was! the position troy puts himself in to show the speedometer, is very reminiscent of the position he puts his camera for the new mario kart 8 deluxe videos!
For anyone wondering, divide the shown speed by 1.6 to get mph.

I don't know if it is possible in MKWII.
Feathers only.
Sounds weak right.
But you can dodge any red shell, green shell, starman, bullet bill, POW, Tcloud & maybe Blue shell & Mega Schroom with correct timing.

This is just F-ZERO at this point, but with Mario Kart. incase you don't know, F-ZERO (one of Nintendo's lesser franchises, at least to Nintendo) was an extremely fast racer Nintendo used to make games of. Where things went so fast you or others, if not used to that high speed, could go flying off the track in some of it's entries. I've barely played anything F-ZERO, but from what I've seen in some of the entries in the series, if you fly off the track, I think nobody comes to save you, you're completely off from participating in that race any further. As opposed to Mario Kart, where if you fall off the track into a pit, Lakitu will rescue you.
I wonder if you could clear a cannon jump without a cannon on this. Jumping from the bottom of Maple Treeway to the top would be epic.

I feel like you could probably most times go backwards if you fall off ans it puts you before the finish line when you miss a key cp. also iirc an ssmt will probably charge you to full speed almost immediately. (based on initial 99,999cc from like 2018)

You could put your facecam over the position counter in those solo type videos. At least with this mod the position didn't really matter.
