- A bit of happy news! after 3 years, I guess Byron finally became attractive and now he's 'paired' up with all the women in the flock🤣 in the last 2 weeks.
This also means...less pinfeathers for us, but ah well! We'll focus on neglected Geoffrey then (and Byron also preens Geoffrey too).

They would rub it against the cage bars or a toy/corner, and it'll still come out naturally :)
@@pinfeathersgalore thank you. I have a male and female parakeet, both about 7 mo. old. Mine aren't friendly like yours, they are bonded to each other! 😇
@@hmbl-cb1be they do that when they have buddies! I bug mine every day to the point when they get mildly annoyed when they see me approach, so they're not scared of me anymore😁. Recently the girls have been coming out just to bite my face - ouch!!! Haha but all's fair - if I poke them, they get to poke me back :)
this is so crazy my budgie would never let me near him like that hahaha
Aww!! All budgies are different, for sure :) some are more chill, and others are more jumpy.

yep, theyre about above his little blue cheeks, its a bit easier to see on Byron
@@reater78 I only ask bc he has that white puff of hair and it doesn't seem like you can see his eyes at all! Like I get some people think it is cute, but if it hinders the budgie from seeing then it is animal cruelty. I'm not saying this person is doing that, but I wouldn't want my budgie to suffer bc I think the white puff of hair makes it look fashionable and cute!
@@Jay_Z. at about 1:56 you can catch a glimpse of them closed, and as i dont own a bird myself, how exactly would you even fix that, cutting or removing feathers seems kinda cruel in of itself and the bird kinda grew like that
It's somewhere underneath his feathers haha! He can peep through them but he doesn't have peripheral vision from the top of this head😁
