Sorry for the confusion! I wanted to add something in the video at 11:45 mark, and RUclips wont allow for a re-upload. I had to blow away the original vid and upload again.
Man i wish you were my neighbor. So many Saturdays and beers together. Oh well.
Well, I'll have one for ya! Im the lucky guy, there are 3 or 4 car guys on my street. Shawn, the big bald bearded guy you see in my videos is a neighbor. If your even in DFW Texas stop by and have a beer!
Just started watching , and subscribed. Can’t wait to check these videos out man
Sweet!!! Welcome sir, more videos coming I promise
Team Z makes a very nice hardware kit.
Yessir they do. Very nice. Running their upper relocation kit on the 86. Its beef.
Will confirm on my 1980 foxbody fairmont I had the same issue (oddly no replacement nuts came with my package) but I ended up just getting them all started and prying on the kmember until I could get the bolts in and tighten them, there was some odd noises but all fit
Great job dude been following you for a while keep it coming
Appreciate you stickin around brother!
Great job Mike
Thank you sir
Nice video!! Not sure why you are not 5.0 swapping that 79 but, Great video!!
Appreciate it! Man, its because its just been done, I wanted something unique, more challenging, and keep to its 2.3L original roots
I feel like this video is Dejavu, lol. Didn’t we already watch this back a couple days ago when the key chime tip video was uploaded? Lol Either way.
YES! I missed an important step, @11:45 went back added it. RUclips wont let you re-upload, you have to upload new, so the other vid was killed and this one was edited and re-uploaded. Sorry for the confusion!
@@HOUSEOFDULA all good brotha! Watched it twice anyways. Lmao.
@@frankenstanggarage7911 That sure doesn't hurt me! appreciate it
I can see why you elongated the holes in the k-member since either way you had to “stretch” the holes out either on the chassis or k member but it might have been better to to widen the chassis hole since it has those nuts on the plate to back it up instead of weakening the k member. I can that being an easy mistake to make in the moment, granted im sure it wont cause a problem. Also good idea on using those grade 8 washers, the kit should have come with that or bigger flange bolts, i gues that was an oversight. Enjoyed the vid!
All good points, and I see both sides. A weak K-Member or broken K can cause you to wreck. So its not to taken lightly. Appreciate the comment man,
Didn't I already see this video the other day?????
