Amazing. Even several years since the series ended its still hard to cope, I love this thing so much. It hurts to think everything we’re going to see with these characters we love so much is done. In a way, the end of a series is almost like killing off every character because you’ll never see them in anything new, even if they don’t die in the story. But enough of me being a downer, I just wanted to say having videos like this to come back to this place, and beyond that to even feel as if I’m there in a more immersive way than ever before... thank you

I feel your pain. I really do wish the third film could have ended in a way that was less bittersweet. If it had an entirely happy ending, I would still feel bummed about no more movies being made, but at least I wouldn't feel as emotional about it.
@@covand @covand 4360 Aww I know what you mean. The bittersweet ending was sad, but I'm glad they made the decision to end the story that way. This level of emotional maturity is less prominent in animated films like these, making HTTYD stand out from the rest. The trilogy made us fans feel loss but also taught us that one day, we must make sacrifices, and let those we love go. Yet that does not mean we cannot be together from afar, just as these movies and characters hold a special place in our hearts.. forever.
On a more hopeful side they're making a Kung Fu Panda 4 even though everyone thought that series has ended. Maybe they'll do the same for Httyd. Would be kinda weird tho since I do love the ending we already have. But Dreamworks wants to make money and we pay to see Dragons! Maybe they'll do one in the future with separate characters kinda like Nine Realms. Hiccup can never reunite with toothless again, but maybe Zephyr and Nuffink can still go on a journey with them after Homecoming?

This is so amazing, it sound so good. The faint wings flapping and dragon calls in the background make it that much better as well. This is just so beautiful and put together so well. 💙

What I did was determine the beginning and ending key of each song by ear (so for example "Legend Has It" is in the key of Am and ends in G I believe) and pair it with other bits and parts of the soundtrack that are in the same key (i. e. "As Long As He's Safe" key of Am). Each song seems to transition into the next because they are in the same key signature/end or start on mutual notes, if that makes any sense. (7:40 is an example of that exact transition) I did my best to make this ambience flow smoothly and I appreciate the kind words!
@@Carissa.I Yes I know what you're saying. I too can tell by ear to the point that I no longer hear but can see it. That was intentionally comical. I am uploading " Experience" onto my channel if you'd like to listen to it. Unfortunately I had to edit out the ending. So I ended the song, but it just stops opposed to me pausing after the song is done. I did the song but the video just stops abruptly after the song finishes. Opposed to there being a few seconds of silence.
