This is the song that plays when you return to something you were good at and you're still good at it

Zero's theme is a song about zero himself, bit this song represents his will to fight.

Very epic. Ever since I first heard this song playing mega man zero 2, playing through the entire series, this track is the one that stood out the most by far. If no is convinced that this series is one of the best mega man series, then they need to hear this track. Also thanks for making an extended version. It’s nice when one of the only ways to view RUclips is on a iPhone through safari with no looping feature. And for some reason this isn’t on iTunes. So ty for making an extended version.

You know it was never explain to us why zero was in the underground lab I really would like to find some lore videos explaining why he was in an underground lab to begin with and the first game I mean was he sealed away again.
Second thing I have truly always loved the armor 40 in the megaman zero series because to me his armor or his new armor felt like a combination of x's armor in his old armor like, together.
Because if you look at the aesthetic there's a lot more blue aura pieces in his armor and even with his sword has a light blue hue.
His old sword The Z sabre had a yellow green kind of feel to it but his new sword has almost a mega Man armor color hue
It is said that all the mega Man games are actually in the same universe with mega Man Legends being the final game in the series with the last human dying and robots and humans fusing together to make a new species and living out there life on the Moon

Someone way smarter than me: tell me why this song, the menu select jingle notwithstanding, the first song a player will hear is called “Departure” and not “Arrival” or something equivalent?

You actually hear For Endless Fight 2 play first. But I believe the song is called Departure as reference to Zero leaving behind the memories of old, and rushing into a new battle that calls for a warrior brave enough to face the danger. With no one left other than himself, he picks up the mantle once again, to revive the legend, as this was the same Zero that fought alongside the Original X, at least in mind. Departure is also an in game version of “Clover” the actual main theme of the title.
