  • THE RAPTURE --DO YOU BELIEVE WHAT JESUS TAUGHT ABOUT THE END'S BEGINNING?
    Jesus's comforting, hope-filled message of His return to rescue His Church before the Tribulation was so powerful that His disciples went everywhere teaching this same truth. When Paul spent only a month in a pagan city where he planted a church, the Rapture was central to their doctrine.
    The Rapture was
    First Taught by Jesus
    The Rapture is a doctrine started and taught by Jesus, continued and spread by His disciples, and believed and passionately lived out by His Church. The early church heard and understood this doctrine of Christ’s imminent return and radiantly lived, looking for ways to please Him when He came to rescue them.
    James, in the first NT letter said that Christ was standing at the door (5:7). The second NT book was I Thessalonians and every chapter shines with Rapture-induced hope-filled expectancy (1:9-10; 2:19-20; 3:13; 4:13-18; 5:23). Paul’s epistles start to finish, are seasoned with the flavor of a focused life awaiting Christ as in Philippians 3:20 where we as citizens of Heaven await Jesus eagerly, as Paul confesses in his last words of II Timothy 4 where he talks about His crown “at that day” when Jesus comes.
    Peter says the same, going so far as asking what kind of lives should we live because we know the future (II Peter 3:11 ). John’s Epistles are the same, in I John 3:2-3 he says that this “hope” causes us to purify our daily life looking for Christ’s coming.
    In Revelation 3:7, Jesus Christ identifies Himself to the Church at Philadelphia as the One who is True, Holy, and has the unstoppable Messianic Key of David. When Jesus speaks He tells the Truth. When we listen to Him and hear what He says we can have confident assurance that He knows what He is talking about.
    Jesus Christ taught repeatedly (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21) that His 2nd Coming is to Judge the ungodly. That was the content of every sermon on the future that He ever preached. Each sermon was taught in the context of Israel, was focused upon the Jews, and involved the city of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
    The Rapture is Not
    The 2nd Coming
    But, when Jesus spoke to believers His emphasis was different. Jesus taught His own born-again children of the faith, three bedrock truths about the Rapture or His coming for His Church.
    These truths are that: the Rapture will be a source of comfort; the Rapture will be similar to the Ascension; and that the Rapture will be an intentional rescue.

      He's snatch us up to meet Him in the clouds, like a thief in the night. No one knows that time. For the 2nd coming, then every eye will see Him as He comes in the clouds. That day, everyone will know bc its 6 Hebrew years from the sugning of the covenant between the AC and Israel. They will know the date bc God has told us. Two different events, two different descriptions.

    Jesus taught that He is our Blessed Hope. The pretrib, pre-wrath Rapture is our looking for Jesus to blow the trumpet and catch us up into the clouds to meet Him in the sky and be taken home to the place that He has prepared for us in the Father's house. Yes, Jesus taught the Rapture directly and also throughout the Bible in many places including the revealing of this mystery through Paul the Apostle.

    I look at the apocalypse preparation movement in the US and alot of those people are secular but it's like they feel it coming and I definitely feel it too. As soon as I started thinking about eschatology it was immediately clear this is what the bible teaches.

    If you think A.I. isn't just like the Terminator movie your in for a shock. Your job will be terminated, your ability to pay for a house, a car, food, water ... All terminated as this robot says "we" get that? "We are not here to harm humans but to help them." Ya. Help you to live like all the elderly, and every department that terminates the employment of humans to go full A.I. That's just half of it. How much do you really enjoy talking to a robot about your bank account, your prescriptions, all your important stuff? It is absolutely terminating you and it IS NOT ALIVE. IT'S A PROGRAM.

      Even as in the days of Noah people will not see the signs ... they will continue in their daily lives as if Christ is not coming for a very long time if at all, and they will wail in the lake of fire.
      And those who pretend to be saved during the reaping will be cast into the outer darkness aka space where there is no oxygen, and there will be wailung and gnashing of teeth as they gasp for air.

      @watchmanofthenught2700, you're conflating two separate situations separated by centuries. Context brother, context. You're missing the historical narrative of the scripture you're quoting from.
      You're actually quoting John 17:15.
      This is part of Jesus's high priestly prayer. He was getting ready to ascend back to heaven soon, and He would no longer be with His disciples there physically.
      His disciples had a mission to spread the gospel, as they were instructed by Jesus. Thus has nothing whatsoever to do with eschatology, the end times. This has nothing to do with the rapture that takes place centuries later. This passage is about the beginning of the spread of the gospel on earth.

      It does. Many pastors get it wrong. Read Revelation 14. The Great Harvest. We get caught up with God and the unbelievers go onto experience the Wrath of God-the final set of judgments called the bowl or vial judgments.

    ❤ Dr. Bennett, isn't it only the Church that is raptured? Many seem to believe the 1800's doctrine of ALL Christians being raptured. Can you clarify this for me even though I am watching this video. Many thanks.

    In his prayer at 40:00, John said God would rescue us from Revelation chapters 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19. The rapture will definitely happen, and God will rescue us, but only from chapters 8-19. The 6th seal is when the rapture happens, and this is in chapter 6. This is the day of the Lord, and the 6th seal begins the day of the Lord. On this day, Jesus Christ will appear during a time of great Christian persecution from the antichrist. Then, he will send out his angels to gather us from the four winds, those of us who are alive who remain, and then God's wrath begins in chapter 8, the 7th seal. Chapter 7 simply explains the rapture. We can't confuse the two different Greek words for "tribulation' and 'wrath'. We come out of the great tribulation, and after we're gone, God's wrath, the hour of trial, begins on the world.

      I've commented this a few times on his videos (or at least once), but there didn't seem to be any interaction with my comment. John certainly has read through the Bible more than I have, and I don't claim to know it all, but I would appreciate it if he preached his view as the hope, but prepared people that the rapture might be a bit later in Daniel's 70th week.
      I fear that John's view might lead to people falling away during the tribulation.

      @@Matty0311MMS You're right. The pretribulation rapture teaching is one of the biggest, end-times false teachings today. It's a long-term tactic by Satan to get many believers, mainly those with little faith, to fall away when the antichrist comes. But John isn't alone. Many teach this error. As we read in Numbers 15, God forgives error, but we must see our guilt and repent. They're not repenting. I believe God will hold pretribulation teachers accountable for the blood of anyone who falls away. But there is no "I believe this is when the rapture happens". The rapture is doctrine, and it happens on the day of the Lord, which is in the 6th seal. Everything else is error. On the day of the Lord, Jesus appears, the rapture happens, and then God's wrath begins.

      Pre-trib is a massive lie!! The Lord said only the patient will see the kingdom. Tribulation and the GREAT Tribulation are (2) different events. Unpack your bags… WE will NOT escape the Tribulation. You will be wholly un-equipped if you think so. We will NOT be here for THE GREAT Tribulation. Let those with eyes and ears see and hear the truth ….WE have a job to do during the Tribulation….God said WE must encourage comfort and minister to our brothers and sisters to hang on be patient until we either die or get taken out!! Jesus died. All but 1 disciple were martyred. They tried to kill the one disciple but God kept him alive. Who do we think we are to escape the Tribulation? Escapism is a false sense of security. Who needs faith and patience if you think you’ll miss persecution? The hour IS the GREAT TRIBULATION!

      Grt a Hebrew/Greek copy. Read the Book. Listen to the actual words from GOD HIMSELF. This man teaches the truth. Do not go around trying to do the enemy's work of snatching the blessed hope from the Lord's sheep. I wouldn't want to do that and stand before Him on judgement day. Ask the Lord to guide you through understanding His word.

      @@ChildOfTheOneTrueAlmightyGod The blessed hope is "the glorious appearing of our great God and savior Jesus Christ". Why is it our blessed hope? Because when Jesus appears on the day of the Lord, as we read in Revelation 6:16-17, the rapture happens, as we read in chapter 7, and then God's wrath begins, as we read in chapter 8. This is doctrine, and it's non-negotiable. Everything else is error. We need to prepare ourselves for persecution from the antichrist if we're the generation to be here for the great tribulation. This is not God's wrath. I wish John was right that the rapture was imminent and happens before the antichrist, but he's teaching error. I've given you the truth. Peace to you.

    According to God's Word, He did not destine us for wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9-11). The wrath He is speaking of is the Day of the Lord.
    (2 Thessalonians 2:1-17) speaks of this Day coming after the man of lawlessness is revealed.
    (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) speaks of God's elect being caught up in the air to be with Him at the sound of a trumpet. So to comfort one another with these words.
    This is not to be confused with the second coming where Jesus Christ stands on the mount of olives and comes with all His elect. (Zechariah 14:4-11). When the second coming occurs, this is the Day of the Lord, and is when Jesus will pour out the wrath of God upon the earth.
    So whether we are "caught up" at the beginning of the Tribulation or the middle of the Tribulation, or right before the Day of the Lord, during the time of Jacob's trouble which is for Isreal, God will not harm those who have His seal upon them. Whatever happens before the Day of the Lord we should rest assured knowing God will deliver us from that wrath to come. So whatever we see happening around us before Christ reaps us from the earth, we should have reassurance knowing that it will not be us who suffer at each trumpet blow, but only the wicked on earth will reap what they have sown.
    We just keep the faith with confidence knowing our God will keep us from that hour of trial. So when God reclaims the earth, we will be right behind Him alongside myriads of His angels witnessing prophesy as spoken of in Revelation come to pass. As it is written.

    And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
    Nearly simultaneously this takes place in heaven.
    Revelation 12:5 KJVS
    And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

      Well the "She" or "Woman" is both Israel and Mary and the Manchild is Jesus and He was raptured back to heaven.
      V17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
      So we have had 2000 years of the dragon chasing us in his wrath. The Satan didnt know that Jesus was going to pay for the worlds sin and also didnt know Jesus would rise from the grave until it was done. Then he realised the implications of the victory of the cross and so all he has left is 2000years to try to destroy what Jesus purchased on the cross....us.

    God is returning to Earth. He is coming to assume dominion over His kingdom. That kingdom is the Kingdom of Planet Earth (physical AND spiritual). Christ will sit on His father, David’s, throne on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. That’s physical Jerusalem, Israel. So, first we understand that Christ is returning to Planet Earth.

    I am 100% a five point Calvinist. But I am also a 100% premillenial Dispensationalist.
    I believe in the premillenial rapture of the church, I believe Israel Is still the focus of God in the end times, that God will save a final remnant of ethnic national Israel.
    I reject replacement theology as heresy. I believe the church is not Israel and Israel is not the church.
    I believe all this by reading and studying the Abrahamic, Mosaic and Davidic covenants, studying Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah, Joel, Isaiah, Amos, Revelation, Romans chapters 10, 11, and 1&2 Thessalonians. I also believe in the 1000 year reign of Christ as literal.

      So, was Abraham a Jew? The short answer, Abraham was a gentile who was chosen by God to be the ancestor of the Jewish people.
      Abraham was a member of one of the many nations in existence at that time.
      Abram was called by God out of Ur of the Chaldeans . Genesis 12:1-3
      His descendants would become the nation of Israel.
      Isaac by Sarah and Ishmael by the slave if Sarah.
      Only Isaac received the promise, he was the chosen one.
      He had two sons Jacob and Esau, Jacob received the blessing, and from him came the 12 tribes of Israel. I'm sure you know God changed Jacob name to Israel.
      So all this to say, the Israelites of the northern kingdom and the Jews of the southern kingdom are all family. All Hebrews, and were and still are a nation and ehtnic people distinct from every gentile people and nation. God will save a remnant in the end times of ethnic national Israel as He has done throughout history.

    Jesus never taught anything even resembling this secret, any moment, pre-tribulation rapture doctrine. Jesus prayed for the apostles who would suffer severe tribulation and persecution, and eventually be put to death, that they would NOT be TAKEN OUT of the world, but would be kept from the evil (John 17:15). Jesus also included in this prayer, all those who would come to faith through their word (the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), (John 17:15) that would be all New Testament saints. Jesus said He would return AFTER the tribulation of those (future) days (Matt. 24:29-31). Jesus said if anyone claims secrecy concerning His return, "believe them not" Matt. 24:26. Why should we not believe them? In the next verse Jesus said His return would be as the lightning shining from the east to the west (Matt. 24:27). New Jerusalem (our eternal home) comes down from God out of heaven, (Rev. 3:12, 21:2) our eternal home is on earth, not in outer space.

    The 40,000 “kinds” of so-called Christians are so divided, being 40,000 kinds or flavors proving how divided they are, as there are as many thoughts on the rapture as there are those that preach it.
    Those hoping to escape the pain of the Tribulation by a flight to heaven are not following Jesus Christ -- they are following a catholic women that had a dream 200 years ago. Good luck --- or really, brace for great pain for not following Jesus Christ, but some women.

      Abd yoy obviously can't read. You must do the work. The Lord began the teaching, the apostles picked it up, and the early church looked up for the return of the Lord every day. Did Paul not say, "We," in his epistles when describing how we should be looking for the Lord? The early church fathers taught the pretrib rapture too. Lee brainard and Ryan Pitterson are good with giving those sources so we can look into them for ourselves.

    As you said; Jesus told his disciples in Luke 24; the next time he came to earth, it would be in like manner as when he was taken up into heaven. Acts 3:21 confirms this to be true as well; saying, Jesus must remain in heaven, UNTIL the time of restitution of all things, as was told by the prophets". This is actually proof that Jesus could not have appeared to Paul outside of Damascus, after he'd been taken up into heaven. Jesus told us unequivically, that there would be no post ascension appearances, until his return for his bride at the end of days. Jesus warned us" So if you hear, that Jesus appeared out in the desert, or that he appeared in some inner room...DO NOT BELIEVE THIS! " Why didn't we listen to this dire warning ? Why did we accept Paul's claim, that Jesus appeared to him, when Jesus said not to believe this type of deception? Paul claimed this event happened, yet we are not given so much as one " eyewitnesses testimony " of this alleged miraculous event. Jesus prophesied that someone would appear after he was taken up into heaven; and this person would be recieved, while Jesus himself would be rejected -John- 5:43. Jesus told us he did not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets- Did the church recieve this teaching? No, they rejected it, He said; If you love me keep my commandments.- Mt 5:17 But, Paul said if you want to be justified by keeping the law, you have fallen from grace, and Jesus will benefit you NOTHING.-Gal 5:1-5. If we really trust Jesus as our Savior: then we need to quit trusting in Paul's false gospel of belief alone. The foundation of Paul's gospel message rests solely on Genesis 15:6, " Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness" and this of course is true. However, Paul conveniently left out Genesis 26:5 which specificaaly decribes what Abraham's "belief "looked like to God . "BECAUSE... Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes and my laws." -Gen. 26:5. Paul excluded this particular verse, because this verse of scripture didn't fit in with his gospel of GRACE THROUGH FAITH, WITHOUT THE DEEDS OF THE LAW narrative. We need to understand, Abraham did all these things listed in Gen 26, because he " BELIEVED" God. When the Pharisee's said, "Abraham is our Father" Jesus replied, " If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham" This is how we should have understood John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, that whosoever should BELIEVE in him, shall not perish, but shaii inherit eternal life. This word " believe " should therefore be interpreted through the lens of Genesis 26:5, If your description of "belief " doesnt match God's description of " belief" as found in Gen. 26 Then you are missing the mark. The church today as a whole doesn't want God's law. As followers of Christ; we need to hang onto Jesus' every word, and teach and keep his laws and statutes, just as Abraham did. Jesus said, " If you continue in MY WORD, then you are my disciples indeed" Jesus also said," A man cannot serve two masters" I ask you..who is your Master ...Jesus or Paul ?

      Acts 3 is all about Israel and there future kingdom. (Acts 1:6). It has nothing to do with Gentiles. Peter would not consider fellowship with Gentiles until later in Acts 10. Context is key. Shalom...

You can quote half a sentence to form and argument Jesus comepleted the Law by fulfilling its requirement of death. The difference is he paid with a perfect body not from earth but from heaven this is how Jesus used the Law to purchase the earth and all therein.

      Matthew 25:34, “Then the King (Jesus Christ) will say to those on his right (the sheep), ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.” This is Christ’s kingdom on Earth aka the kingdom of God aka the kingdom of heaven…but NOT celestial heaven. Once Christ returns to Earth, here is where “heaven” is. Also, know that Sheol’s Paradise, where Jesus visited between his death and his resurrection back to surface of earth, is referred to by some scholars as “heaven” aka “Garden” aka “Eden”. Mankind are always on or “in” earth. Celestial heaven is reserved as God’s abode, and angels, too.
      Sheol’s Paradise aka Abraham’s bosom is where Abraham, and all righteous saints who have died the first death patiently await the resurrection of the righteous on the day of the Lord. Read re: Lazarus and the rich man. Luke 16:19+. This is a true story, not a parable.
      Do you understand Sheol has two compartments, separated by a chasm? If so, you will understand Jesus never descended into Hades - the side of torment reserved for the damned while they await their final destiny: lake of fire.

    For those of you listening to this video that might misunderstand what the early church was. The early church did NOT include catholicism or any of the other manmade religions or churches.
    The early church is the same church that lives today. And is only occupied my born again believers, believing and teaching sound doctrine, and do you know why?
    Because the church has never been of flesh and bone. The Church of Christ is spiritual.
    When you hear on the mainstream media that people are leaving the church, they are not leaving the church of Christ. They are leaving the man-made churches, religions, what have you.
    The Church of Christ does not celebrate christmas or eshstar, or any of the other pagan hole daze.
    That kind of stuff is still taught in seminary. But it is not taught in God's Word.
    One last thought, Jesus Christ's death marked the end of Wednesday at dusk, and his resurrection marked the end of the Day of the Lord, the Sabbath at dusk, not sungod day. There's nothing in God's Word that teaches us to keep sungod day holy. It's always been the last day of the week and it's always been the Sabbath or Day of the Lord.
    Keep these things in mind and your Bible will be easier to understand.

    2) the dead in Christ will rise (upward, from Sheol’s Paradise, NOT down from celestial heaven)
    3) the alive will be caught up
    4) together (resurrected, and “changed” - we all have glorified, immortal bodies at this time)
    5) we apantesis-meet Christ in the air, as He is descending to Earth
    6) we will be with the Lord forever - on Planet Earth!

    John is very gifted and knowledgeable Bible teacher. However, he is inexplicably deceived, while teaching an imminent return of Jesus and Rapture of the saints. The Bible, when read in full context is very explicitly clear:
    1) The Lord returns on " The Day of the Lord" (2Th 2:1-2), the same day as our Rapture-Gathering (1Th 4:17:5:2, 2Th 2:1-2).
    2)Jesus called this day, "The Last Day" (Jn 6:39-40,44,54), because it is the day when the present heavens and earth will be burned-up with intense heat (2Pet 3:10-12), making it the day of His coming, (2Th 2:1-2) and the end of the age (Mt 24:3).
    3) This day occurs only after the sun, moon and stars are darkened (Act 2:20, Joel 2:31, Mt 24:29), 7 years after e covenant with many (Dan 9:27), and 1335 days after the daily sacrifices have been terminated (Dan 12:11-13), in a temple not yet built.

    Truth dispel error. If there is a second death, how is a person immortal according to Dispensationalism? How will he die a second death if he's immorality and can't die?
    According to the truth of Jesus Christ to save; Eccl 9:5,6 all dead remain in grave till Jesus returns St John 14:1-3. Then righteous will be with Jesus for 1000 years Rev 20:4. The wicked after not resurrected till after the thousand years Rev 20:5. Then they will die again Rev 20:12-15. The truth of a loving Jesus shows sinners will get there just reward according to their works Rev 22:12. But doctrines of devils 1 Tim 4:1,2 says wicked will burn non stop! Rev 14:8, 17:1,2,5, 19:2 Catholicism has corrupted Christianity with false doctrines!

    Jesus did NOT teach about "the rapture", but used the word "resurrection" several times, as at Matthew 22:30, 31, Luke 14:14 and John 5:29. Christendom is using the term "rapture" that is NOT in the Bible, while "resurrection" is (as the Greek word anastasis, that is found 42 times in the Bible), whether it be "the first resurrection" (Rev 20:5, 6), "the earlier resurrection" (Phil 3:11) or general resurrection of mankind, as the apostle Paul told Governor Felix, that "I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."(Acts 24:15)
    Christendom has conjured words, terms, and other religious ideologies and doctrines that are NOT taught in the Bible, such as "the rapture", "purgatory", "mass", "Eucharist", "the Holy Trinity", immortality of the soul, hellfire, while TRUE Christians do as the apostle Paul wrote:
    "And this is what I continue praying, that your love may abound still more and more with accurate knowledge ("accurate knowledge", Greek epignosis, meaning "precise and correct knowledge") and full discernment; that you may make sure ("make sure", Greek dokimazo, meaning "to test, examine, prove, scrutinize") of the more important things (of what is accurate),"

    So, at John 17:3, Jesus said in prayer to God, whose name is Jehovah (see Ex 6:3; Isa 12:2, KJV): "This means everlasting life, their coming to (accurately) know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ." How vital that a sincere Bible reader want "accurate knowledge" and not what Christendom feeds its members, spiritual "crumbs", as the Pharisees did for the common Jews, with Jesus explaining this in the illustration of "The Rich Man and Lazarus" at Luke 16:19-31.
    And there is another thing to consider is the requirements just to gain everlasting life (be it in heaven as "the little flock", Luke 12:32, of 144,000 "Jews", Rev 7:4-8, or those whose hope is to enjoy life on a paradise earth forever, Ps 37:11, 29), in which Jesus said that these strict requirements would cause the vast majority who profess to be Christian to fail "the litmus test" of TRUE Christianity, saying:
    "Exert yourselves vigorously ("vigorously" Greek agonizomai, meaning "to struggle, with difficulties and dangers, to contend with an adversary"), to get in through the narrow door (or those who are loyal servants of Jehovah God, whereby Romans 10:13 says, quoting Joel 2:32, "for everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved"), because MANY (or ALL those who remain in Christendom), I tell you, will seek to get in but will NOT be able".(Luke 13:24; see also Matt 7:14, in which Jesus said few would get life, due to "narrow is the gate and cramped the road" to life everlasting)

      The Greek word harpazo does not refer to "rapture" (that is "late 16th century, directly or via French from medival Latin raptura "seizure", from Latin raptus") but rather means "to seize, carry off by force, to snatch out or away" and found 14 times in the Bible.(Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament)
      And that is why the word "rapture" is NOT found in the Bible, and harpazo is accurately translated as the words "press" (Matt 11:12), "caught away" (2 Cor 12:2, 4; 1 Thess 4:17) "seize" (Matt 12:29; John 6:15), "snatch" (John 10:28, 29; Acts 23:10), "snatches" (Matt 13:19; John 10:12), "snatching" (Jude 23), "led away" (Acts 8:39), "snatched".(Rev 12:5)

      Of purgatory, the book Orpheus-A General History of Religions states: “St. Augustine had held that there was an intermediate state of probation between future felicity (happiness) and damnation, that of the purification of souls by fire."
      "This is the Orphic [pagan Greek] and Virgilian [pagan Roman] doctrine of Purgatory: there is not a word about it in the Gospels. . . . The doctrine of Purgatory . . . was formulated in the sixth century, and proclaimed a dogma of the Church by the Council of Florence (1439).” The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits: “The Catholic doctrine on purgatory is based on tradition, not Sacred Scripture.”(2nd Edition, Vol 11, pg 825, pub in 1967)
      Or the Hebrew word ro'sh that so many believes means "Russia" at Ezekiel 38, and is found 600 times in the Bible, that means "the head (literal or figurative), in time, place, rank", as the "head" of a bed at Genesis 47:31, the "head" or chief baker at Genesis 40:20, the "head" of a person (Joseph's sons Ephraim and Manasseh) as at Genesis 48:14, the "head" of a bull as at Exodus 29:10, the "head" of a ram as at Exodus 29:15, the "head" of a burnt offering as at Leviticus 1:4, the "head" of a sin offering as at Leviticus 4:29, the "head" of Aaron on which was poured the anointing oil, as at Leviticus 8:12.
      The word "rapture" is NOT what the apostle Paul spoke of at Colossians 1:9, 10: "That is also why from the day we heard of it, we have never stopped praying for you and asking that you may be filled with the accurate knowledge ("accurate knowledge", Greek, epignosis, meaning "precise and correct knowledge" and NOT "knowledge" as the KJV and Catholic Douay Version has at Col 1:9) of his will in all wisdom and spiritual comprehension (coming to know precisely what is right and wrong, what is accurate and inaccurate, what is true and what is false),"

      So, the word "resurrection" or "a stranding up in life again" is "accurate knowledge", that true Christians learn about and incorporate, while discarding words such as "rapture", "purgatory", "trinity", "hell", "cross", "transubstantiation" (or the bread and wine becoming the actual body and blood of Jesus), etc, that perhaps they once accepted as members of Christendom, but now recognizes are wrong.

    Jesus did not teach a comfortably hope filled message of his return to rescue his Church before the Tribulation. In fact, the Church will remain on earth until the Second Coming.
    The Rapture was invented by John Nelson Darby in 1831.
    You guys are unable to read and interpret the Scriptures correctly.If you could, you would see there is NO rapture.

      No, the Lord said He would not put His church through his wrath. The 2nd part of the tribulation is all about Him pouring out His wrath. That's in the Bible that's not man's teaching. People in the comments don't listen to no man read the word. Most of all just be ready because we are not promised tomorrow. So arguing over the tribulation makes no sense.

      What did Jesus die for? Did he pay for everything? Is our faith in Him misplaced? Does His body need to be scurged again? I am wretched, naked and full on sin when I stand apart from our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. But when I stand behind Him, His blood covers everything, I can stand righteous before our Father in Heaven and can hope to escape everything that is coming upon the whole earth because of Him. [31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
    Dispensationalism says Jesus comes secretly before the tribulation for the Church, then comes a second time with the Church from heaven. Notice that the way how Jesus comes so secretly that saints disappear they don't even have a number for that coming as the second coming!
    But bible teaches Matt 24:29-31 Jesus Christ comes visibly and audibly at the rapture/second coming; its the same as bible uses tongues and languages interchangeable

All eyes will see Jesus coming after the tribulation according to scripture in clouds take saints to heaven for a thousand years Rev 20:4 while wicked who followed the anti-christ the Papacy and Apostate Protestant America Rev 13, will be destroyed by coming of Christ 2 Thes 2:8. They live not again till after the thousand years at second resurrection. Then will Christ come with the Church New Jerusalem the Holy City Rev 20:7-15, Satan will deceive them to take the city but fire will come down from heaven and destroy them that is the second death according to the bible!

      Matthew 24 is not speaking about the Rapture, but the Second Coming. It is not the same event that is in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

      What do you believe the purpose of the Tribulation is?

      No, Christians not knowing and studying their Bible is what messed with that credibility. They knew and taught the truth in the first centuries. Then, satan from the beginning, saw that hope doing God's work too well. Too joyfully. He won't tolerate that. So, educate yourself. Study biblical Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. Look at the old transcripts...before liars like Augustine and Origin came to lie to everyone. Look at how God works, then look at how satan works! It was always Pre-Trib. Jesus will ALWAYS save His people BEFORE HE pours out His wrath. And if that wrath is to be poured out onto the ENTIRE planet...where will we go? Why wiuld we have to be here for tribulation if we are already redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ? He took our punishment already! He would be punishing us AGAIN if He punished the world with us still here! What us the reason for the tribulation period? That answer does not include the church. With a post trib rapture, who will go inti the millennial kingdom to repopulate the world? If we are raptured at the 2nd coming, ALL Christians will be glorified. In glorified bodies, we will be like the Lord and will not marry, be given in marriage or procreate. So, who will have allllll of those people...many of whom satan will convince to go up against Jesus and His saints at Jerusalem one last time only to be killed by fire raining down from heaven? Why are some saints glorified but others aren't? Who will we rule and reign over in that period if EVERYONE is glorified? How can the Lord come like a thief in the night...but every eye shall see Him? Why would no man know the date or hour...but we know He's returning EXACTLY 7 Hebrew years after the covenant is signed by the AC and Israel? Why are we commanded to pray that we may be found worthy to escape the tribulation that is coming upon the WHOLE world? Why does the Bible say that Jesus saved us from the tribulation to come? Pre-trib rapture is the only one that fits all words, types, patterns, and promises that we are given in the word of God. God teaches us to look up to watch for our Lord. He can come at literally any moment...even the apostles expected to be raptured at any time. Why is the rapture called the blessed hope? So we can encourage one another with: "we're going to be torture, killed, abused sexually, starved, hunted down, and abandoned by our loved ones?!" No thank you. I'll encourage my neighbors with the actual truth, so that we can be ready with our lamp oil when our bridegroom comes for us! Hallelujah and amen! Come Lord Jesus!

      Rev 10/6 ... especialy second part of this vers, there will be no more TIME. No more time, is the verb like time times and half of time = 3,5 years. Therefor no more time after rapture is , =, les then one year after rapture, no another 7 years, after rapture. Isn it?
      For example: rapture 6.juni 2024 and second coming JK on Earth , armagedon, 25. okt 2024, with his bride, church, and all saints..
