    I go over what I think would have happened in Jon Snow did NOT kill his lover, Daenerys during Season 8 of Game of Thrones.

      I have to imagine it'd be pretty similar truthfully, other than Cersei and Jaime hopping on a dingy to raise their kid in secret. Would be fun if the kid grew up to lead a charge to take the Throne back.
      THe Lannisters would almost seem sympathetic in that scenario!

      I doubt they would try to take the throne again. They literally just witnessed a Dragon take down their army and Navy basically on it's own in minutes. Likely they would wait for at least 200 years when drogon is older thus can't move much like Balerion when he was old.

      Maester Aemon gives him 3 Dragon Eggs, which he hatches, when he walks into the flames during Ygritts funeral. He lets all 100.000 Wildlings south of the Wall and the People at Hardhome survive, because the Dragons hold them off long enough´. He gets murdered, but is brought back to life by Melissandre and the Dragonfire. He takes Winterfell with ease and now has a complete Army of 100.000 Wildlings, giants Mammoths and 3 Dragons which grow extremely fast. He meets with Daenerys to discuss an alliance, yet he is far more powerfull in this situation since he has the stronger army and equally powerful Dragons. They agree to marry for the alliance, take King's Landing together and then rally all 7 Kingdoms against the White Walkers. They win and live a happy life.

Tyion and Daenerys are at fault for Rhaegal's death they shouldn't of have been sailing in the first place they all should've gone by road so they wouldn't split up their already nearly depleted resources. And going by road would've given Rhaegal more time to heal as they would've had to make many stops at towns and camps regardless and he would've been at least 80% ready to throw down at King's Landing.

Post poning the war with Cersei cost her half her army, her allies such as Dorne, The Reach and the Iron Islands, 2 dragons, Jorah and Missandei. So when she said in 7x04 that she wanted to take her 3 dragons to the Red Keep she should've done it. Yes there would've been plenty of collateral damage but it wouldn't have been anything like we saw in 8x05. So Tyrion's dumb ass diplomacy ideas about going about the war actually always failed, attacking Casterly Rock and trusting Cersei all backfired and the city got destroyed anyway so Tyrion was a fucking idiot and a worthless Hand. The Reach Lords all claim descent from Kings and think they deserve to rule the Reach if not all of Westeros so it would’ve been civil war wants Olena died and Highgarden was up for grabs. I think it would also be worth mentioning giving that Drogon and the scorpions were mentioned in this video, Drogon would eventually get bigger, so big that the scorpions would've been useless against him. It would've been really cool to have seen him grow even bigger than Balerion The Dread. Drogon not killing Jon was his punishment. Jon now has to live with the fact that he killed his aunt, his queen and his lover for the rest of his life. This is the second woman he has loved that died in his arms. I don't think he is looking for a third anytime soon. That is a guilt that will never fade away. Drogon knew about Jon and Dany. He knew they were in love and that Jon put his knife in her. He wanted Jon to suffer for it. Death would have been a mercy. And he took Dany's body away so that Jon would never touch her again even to bury her.

      i suppose Cersei might have been a bit less blood lusty over the Sandsnakes/Elaria, but even then I think she still would have wanted to kill them. I definitely feel like Dany herself, along with Drogon would go to each kingdom for the lords to pledge fealty or die, similar to Aegon’s conquest. In this scenario in which Jon doesn’t kill Dany, I think it could go two ways: he chooses to support her, which would likely lead to their betrothal, or he rejects her for what she’s done. I don’t know if I see the north rebelling against Dany if Jon still lives and supports her; I feel like most holds would be afraid to challenge her with Drogon around, especially after what happened at Kings landing. Though I do think that Sansa would leak Jon’s heritage to the other lords like Varys planned to do, which would muddle things up for Dany lol. With Jon ruling with Dany I could definitely see Sansa trying to Litterfinger Dany off the throne so that Jon is the sole ruler who could grant the north independence haha. If Jon doesn’t kill Dany, but also chooses to not rule by her side like she offered, it’s quite possible that Dany, fearful of his claim to the throne, would imprison or have him executed for “treason” which would prompt Sansa to rally the northern armies against her. And I think that if Sansa was prepared to go to war against Dany, she’d probably anticipate the dragon queen flying directly to winterfell to burn it down, so she might fashion a bunch of scorpions before declaring rebellion, but that’s assuming she’d be able to find out how to make them. And even then, after Drogon decimated the scorpions at kings landing, I think he could easily destroy winterfell, even if it was fitted with scorpions, though survivors could probably stay safe in the crypts. I also think that if Jon and Dany didn’t marry it’s likely she’d make either the new dornish prince or gendry her king consort. Dany would for sure instill new lords for the reach and casterly rock who would be loyal to her. Drone would remain neutral, unless Dany is betrothed to the dornish prince. I just don’t see a northern war for independence against Dany and Drogon being successful in Sanaa’s favor, and the rebellion would end with the extinction of house stark. Arya could definitely save the day by asasainating grey worm, stealing his face, then killing Dany. I think that would honestly be the north’s only hope at defeating Dany. It’s not a certainty that it’s possible bc of the level of intelligence in dragons, but Bran could also warg into Drogon 🤷‍♂️ these are just some of my ideas about how it could play out lmao

    • @kellyparkes9087
      @kellyparkes9087 4 года назад

      I like the idea of Arya killing Greyworm and stealing his face to kill Dany if it played out this way... and Bran warging into Drogon to control him as Drogon would probably be the only reason why the other lords/kingdoms would not rebel against Dany... .. But two out of her three dragons have been killed, if Drogon could be killed she would lose her remaining power as Ceresi said.... We just need one good shot..... but Drogon burned the scorpions too easily... But without Drogon she could be easily be defeated if all the other houses rebelled together against her and she had no dragons left.....

      I dont think it would have been that much different tbh. People blame the fall of the series on D&D running out of source material but thats not completely true. They already took way too much liberties in season 5 that made the show so much different from the books. Since they have taken this path already I imagine it would get even worse over time and the result would be very similar to what we actually got.
      You could argue that they would know the major events that will happen in winds but there are many moments that are implyed by the books that will happen and also its been said many times that George has told them many important plot points. So its not that different afterall

      @@TheBattProductions This would be cool. Yes, Jon was burnt earlier in the series, so he is not immune to fire, but I don't think this needs to negate the possibility in this scene. Wasn't the idea that the rightful heir was immune to fire? Her brother made the mistake of thinking he was "the Dragon" when she was. But what if *the magic shifted* to Jon? What if the "magic" declared that Jon was more worthy than Dany? She's done some horrible things since reaching Westeros. She's becoming the "mad queen" and perhaps becomes as unworthy as her brother had become. That would add a cool mythic element to the Targaryen line and the right of succession. Imagine the scene: Dany condemns Jon to death by dracaryses, but when the flames fly forth (and Jon cringes in expectation of death) he is found unscathed. Dany is shocked, stumbles bumping into a lantern (nice parallel to Jon in the first season) and burns herself. The dragon magic has chosen a new successor from the Targaryen line, one now more worthy to rule.

    What if Jon had manned up and married Daenerys in 8x04? Nobody could've pit them against one another, Sansa, Tyrion and Varys woudn't have been able to have ownership in their relationship so no one could've torn them apart.

      I honestly think had this been the case we would have got the perfect happy ending. Dany would not go mad simply because she would have felt like she is still loved by someone so Jon would be the one that would be holding her sanity.
      If that happened Dany would not have burnt kings landing meaning Jaimie and Cersei would have escaped, Tyrion would still be loyal to her and over time with his help Dany could get the respect of noble houses. Because Since Jon would be married to her Varys like you said would not be able to do anything and Sansa could be the only person in the North that would still want independence since "stark" would actually sit on the throne along with Dany.
      This all sounds good but who is to say Jon would still love her untill things got better? I mean if hed truly loved her then obviously no but his affection to her could change like it did in the show despite being married and then the outcome would have been the same.
      But yeah overall I think its small change might have actually brought us the perfect fairy tale ending.

    I would have thought in a senario where Jon is a hostage, Arya would have tried her Facelessman tricks to get him out. If he would have even left with her that is. He might have still been loyal to Daenarys even if she tried to kill him. He really does know nothing.

    What if when Jon entered the throne room Daenerys surprised him with the news that she was with child. That would considerably change her future, I mean killing her knowing she is carrying his child isn't something Jon could even consider doing. Conquering westeros would not be her number one priority anymore and the prospect of having her own child could possibly help her choose the most peaceful solutions to keep her child safe.

    It would have been a much better ending if Jon decided reluctantly to go along with Dany. All the while trying to temper her blood lust and rationalizing that she was liberating enslaved people. Much more interesting, a good twist, and many more adventures for Jon and Dany. Of course, that was never going to happen.

    Saying this as a huge self-admittedly Dany fan (example: I named my car, a Subaru Legacy “khaleesi the legacy” 😂) I actually really liked this ending or “what if” that you created. I wish D&D have put the same effort and logic in it 🙄 while at first I struggled with the idea of gendry not sticking by dany’s side after reading the comments and your counter argument of this I now have no qualms or criticisms about it! Amazing work! 👍👍

    Who becomes the Lord of a region is most often determined by the power a house of the region has so Highgarden might be going to Sam who is the defacto leader of house Tarly (his father rebelled alongside Cersei, but Sam is loyal to Jon and therefore Dany, so he would be in her favor) the same would apply to the Westerlands eventhough I can't name one of the lesser known houses their that might be next in lign for lordship there. Casterly Rock has a big harbour so maybe Ser Davos would find it more appealing than Highgarden anyway should he be offered the title of lord.

      @@sleekoduck he would be hitting a brick wall with Danaerys, she has no skill in diplomacy and would not give Bronn anything. She just sees him as an ally to the Lannisters and his only claim to Highgarden is that Tyrion promised it to him. But Dany wouldn't be interested in upholding a promise from what she sees as a traitor to her.
      I think Bronn might just be intelligent enough to see that himself and not ask or demand anything from someone that passionately burns people to death

      Sam can't be lord if he's Grandmaester, which I could see him being even before Gendry is installed. That's why I didn't give Highgarden to him.
      Basically the two you named I didn't give Highgarden or the Westerlands because they'd be occupied elsewhere.

    • @nicks.2612
      @nicks.2612 4 года назад

      @@TheBattProductions Still Sam is part of the noblemen deciding who should be king and his role was as the head of house Tarly. At this point it could have been possible for him to choose his title as lord of becoming a (grand) maester. Also his fate is a bit unknown as he normally wouldn't have been allowed to keep a family so maybe he was also allowed to simultaneously be a lord due to the lack of nobles just like the other small council members were lords

      there are multiple houses with better claims and more powerful in the reach many with recent blood relations to the tyrells. Neither bronn, davos or sam are decent option all three would lead to a probable civil war in the region.

    If Dany didn't die, someone might talk her out of killing Tyrion. She may just give him to the North, broker a peace for them and split the kingdoms. Sansa becomes Queen of the North, because Jon will likely feel his honor dictates that he must obey his Queen. Dany will likely remain paranoid of him, and love him at the same time. She's out of advisers she can trust. Tyrion failed her utterly, Jorah died defending her, Varys betrayed her the second he realized there was a male heir, and Barriston died in Mereen and Missandei died thanks to Cercei. She'll probably gravitate toward Jon, even if she doesn't feel she can entirely trust him. (And he would likely convince her to let Tyrion go and broker a peace with the North rather than try to conquer them, too.) She still has her army, the remains of the Unsullied and Dothraki, but they are greatly diminished. I think she's got the throne, and she'll now settle in and begin her reign. She still has allies with the Iron Isles, Dorne, and several territories are hers. (Storm's End, High Garden, Castely Rock.) She can name people she feels are trustworthy to occupy those homes and lands. With Jon there to remind her of who she was, she may begin to calm down. And I'd think she may also soon realize she's pregnant by him. It'll also take some time, but she'll rebuild both her army, her rule, the castle, and the city of King's Landing. Eventually even win the trust of the people, who are going to be very leery of her after her razing of the city. But when people are doing well, memories of bad times tend to fade.
