  • Sydney’s day trip to Jervis Bay exploring the white sandy beaches from Blenheim Beach, to Greenfields Beach, Chinaman’s Beach and of course the infamous Hyams Beach as part of the White Sands Walk is only two and half hours out of Sydney’s CBD. You can catch a train and bus, or take your car (or car hire) out for a day and you won't be disappointed.
Jervis Bay and all of it’s beaches offer the best places to swim, kayak, boat, paddleboard, surf, scuba dive and snorkel. Out of the water you can visit the secret coves, wildlife and national park, walking tracks, camping, and visit the beautiful little surrounding towns such as Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach Village, Sanctuary Point and Jervis Bay Village. There are so many other areas to visit such as the less popular but even more stunning Murray’s Beach, Five Mile Beach and Cave Beach, and these are just to name a few.
On this particular adventure, we headed onto the White Sands Walk starting from Blenheim Beach and made our way to Hyams Beach. Before we even arrived however, we managed to stop off at the charming little small town of Berry, NSW. Famous for it’s made to order donuts, heritage buildings, friendly locals and award winning restaurants & local producers, this is a MUST when travelling from Sydney to the Jervis Bay National Park. You’ll also find boutique shopping, a great little pub the Southern Hotel, and it is a perfect little getaway for the weekend and seeing the countryside. Berry is popular with tourists and popular with locals, come and check out this buzzing little town.
