- We a fun day today filming and unboxing PR! @Elf's new bronzing drops just landed on our doorstep, and I couldn't wait to share my initial thoughts and first impression with y’all. These drops come in three shades, but because of their sheer flexible liquid formula, they’re super forgiving and adaptable across multiple different skin tones although they may pull a little orange or red on some folks depending on your skin tones. I really liked how much the pearl peeked through with these on skin, giving off that pretty backlit effect. You can wear these under foundation or solo! Although I did struggle a bit with spreading them evenly which lead me to get some of that patchiness, I still think they're a solid addition to Elf's lineup. I’m glad that Elf has finally joined the bronzing drop world-especially in time for summer so my beauty queens on a budget can get that sun kissed glow for a drugstore price!☀️❤️ So far, e.l.f. has really been crushing it with their launches, but I just HAD to compare them to other popular bronzing drops on the market to see how they compared. Stay tuned for part two, where I dive deeper and compare these drops with others on the market, like the @drunkelephant bronzing drops that just came in and @glowrecipe’s Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops 👀
Elf did it again! For us drugstore girlies ❤
I have this and the drunk elephant one. I like the elf one way more. It’s like whipped.
I use the Elf halo glow it's works great. You can wear it by itself or put foundation on top. It's a must now in my makeup routine 😁
Im definitely in the rose gold family with my fair skin and cool pink undertone
Me too 😊
I am amazed that you come on camera and really show us what the product is really going to work. I hate these women who come on screen with makeup on saying "I have nothing on my face but moisturizer" and you can clearly see they have on 3 sets of eyelashes and a ton 9f eyeshadow! I turn these liars off immediately!
Thank you for being honest in your presentation!
well not to play devils advocate but they might mean nothing on their skin .. and think the lashes and eyeshadow is their eye makeup cause it’s on the eyes
I agree, I don’t wear eyeshadow but people that do seem to have pigment stains around their eyes.
Usually the same people use filters anyway and are so far away from the camera it doesn't even matter😂 you're not seeing their real skin either way. It's all about looking good not helping the viewer out @@haleyjadelovethatname

You really explained this well!

I’m super happy to find your channel! Great work ladies!
Yay! Thank you!
Brilliant! So helpful, thank you! 🤩 xxx
So helpful!
This looks like the elf halo glow liquid filter & the L’Oréal lumi glotion. 😅I really want to get the drop but idk, I am not sold on it.
MAKE SURE TO MIX ELF BRONZING DROPS WITH MOISTURIZER! THEY ADVERTISE IT THAT WAY AND DISCOURAGE APPLICATION ON ITS OWN! LOVE YOU LADIES!! ❤❤
Looks very nice 😊
Thank you for this, I have been interested in bronzing drops but I wasn’t too sure what they did and how they wear with the foundations i currently own
Super 🎉🎉 thank you for your knowledge 🙏
What about mixing them into a moisturizer for a hint of glow?
Elf actually says not to apply it alone, but to mix it in moisturizer instead. It will be streaky and blotchy if you use it by itself
Thanks so much for this !! I would have gotten the wrong shade if not for you 😊❤
I just wish they did a better shade range we know they can do it. That being said this will be really good for the light coverage people
There is no coverage it’s a bronzing drop
Do the drops go under or over foundation? Thanks!
Does rhis go on before or after the foundation. Im still learning about makeup and the right way to use it all.
Should these be used under foundation?
I think mixed with foundation or before
Or mixed with a moisturizer by itself
Aw i just bought this and the red tirtir cushion the other day. The tirtir one oxidised like crazy on me but the finish was nice. I'm hoping i can work with this one because i only wear base makeup occasionally.
Does it separate? I have psoriasis prone skin so foundations cling to my dry patches or separate. I usually use the rcma loose powder and maybelline fitme compact powder+the nyx dewy setting spray to set my base makeup
Makes me sad that as a Dark Winter, bronze doesn’t look best on me😢
Can these be mixed into foundation and moisturizer type products before applying or are they meant for directly applying to the face?
Might depend on ingredients. I'm not sure what's in it but if it's water based it won't mix well with an oil based foundation.
The instructions suggest mixing with moisturizer and foundation so it should work.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I purchased all three to see what looks could happen with each one.😅
Update I have tried and enjoyed each one of the colors.
❤❤❤
We here in Croatia no elf 😮😢😢😢
I like them except they're a bit orange. 😮
No thanks on bronzer, contouring etc. I am convinced that more and more products come out making us use a larger and larger number of products. It's feeling a little out of control.
Totally agree, unless someone’s going for that look. I’d much rather prefer the natural shadows on my face.
I got to agree with you. I feel like it is the same product of different shade marketed. All you need is a good accurate skin tone foundation with high coverage that you can control the intensity and use as a concealer. Also a blush with your other make up products.
not everyone has a hollow/shadowy face. Some of us have a baby or full face so bronzing helps. Or we’re pale and need it 🤷🏻♀️ especially if we’re olive toned you look sick without a tan
@@samaraisnt Right. I have round cheeks. I'm also pale and my face doesn't really tan the same way my body does. It doesn't usually change enough to warrant a whole new shade of foundation. But, warming up the face a bit does make it all look more cohesive and less ghost face, lol. Idk why some people act like bronzing and contouring is something new when it's far from it. We're just seeing new types of products and methods.
But how is that affecting texture and wear?don’t leave me hanging 😅
I'm so pale I really doubt I would look good wearing this product. It would be so obvious on me because of how pale I am.
*I HAVE TO TELL YOU* about these *Colored Felt Liners* by Make..? I saw a swatch by MixedMakeup & *immediately thought of YOU!*
Idk, these are all just giving red
It looks horrible. However, I'm not into shiny pearly skin and that's what is in trend. Rose gold looks the best.
Off topic. Get your tsh levels checked. Research B vitamins
Why is everyone so mad though? 😂
Handing out unsolicited medical advice is fascinating
@@richbaboon9345advice. I’m in the field
Did she ask? No. 👋🏼
@@JennilynneI see your the make advisor now. But was I speaking to you? No!
@@Kim-ou7lcSo, you're saying you'd prefer Internet strangers not address you unless asked? The irony.....😂
I thought it was supposed to be mixed into a moisturizer?
It does this is to get an understanding of textures and colors
@@thelipsticklesbians Thanks! 🙏🏻
