Watching the Ice Cannon get talked from highest tier all the way down to the bottom was one of the greatest segments to be conceived. I love Battleblock Theater, and watching this (and Sample's video of course!) got me back into the game. Such impressive techniques too -- you're a persistent bunch and insanely talented. Looks like I got 2 new channels to watch!
Ok, so i know this is for no jumping right, and its not as good here, but man I LOVE dart!! Definitely deserves ol' unreliable imo! In the real game its very top tier imo, it just cheats for sure.
I like how you talk to Sample way more than your narrator voice, it only feels normal on 1.5 speed, while your regular talking voice is just a bit slower than average

Fun fact, if you're the client and you find yourself dying from rocks you can actually get them in the places host never could. I dont know how to describe it but sometimes i can lift rhe rocks up 2 or 3 block walls without anything required other than client side lag

Also Im pretty sure you can get past that first jump in the game that you struggled with in the tutorial single player with a Green bubble timed with a electric ball to jump on top of it in order to get past. But thats just a theory. A GAAAAAAAAAAME THEORY!
Single player gets stuck at the first finale with current strategies, but even if you got past it, there's a ton of other areas you'd get stuck. You have to manually delete your save and load the game in offline mode to play the tutorial again. And yeah, the joke there is that that the place I was "stuck" is super easy even in single-player

One thing ive noticed about watching battleblock videos is the cat guards, whenever I've played the game the cat guards are skinny and don't wear clothes, basically having player character bodies, but in basically every video Of the game I've seen, the cat guards are fat and wear clothes. Is this exclusive to PC? Because I've only ever played on xbox.
We knew each other from the Cuplockout and were both in a call with Chickeninja to find a 3 player challenge run. I offhandedly commented that it was too bad that the Battleblock Theater story mode wasn't 3 players since it would be cool to beat without jumping and Sam said he's been wanting to do that challenge for a long time so I just asked if he wanted to do it with me
To me, it’s a slightly slow “normal” speaking pace that sounds like he’s trying to speak extra clearly, which is something I’ve seen a lot of non-native English speakers ask for, and it’s much better than the people who deliberately stretch out their speech to increase the video length or who edit out every millisecond of silence to sound like a robot who took too much adderall.
Initially I knew there was a glitch that would allow you to pass through blocks if you spam jump while crouched as you're getting pushed up by the lift platform thingy I knew about this ages ago and used it in my maps; rly bad map design especially because it **does not work for the host**. Well I thought it'd be useless in a no jump challenge but I have since learned more about it! You can use the lift that gets you through the secret blocks to push you into the solid block above, you can't spam jump, but through game ticks / luck or whatever if you crouch and are getting pushed up at the right time you can position yourself far enough inside the block, the host can then uppercut you through the block, flying into the next section, no worrying about laser patterns or precise platforming.
