Hi Steven, The table I think will work out well plus it can be used for a grill I brought it to use as a table, it is very strong and should last for years. All The Best Dave
OUTSTANDING video David! I'm still debating whether or not to pull the trigger on a BV mess kit, but I really liked the way you showed the way it could be used! I'll be watching for more videos of you using that mess kit!
Thanks mate, I have used the BV mess kit loads since making the video and it does work really well I have cook lots of different meals the only thing I suggest if you are cooking where you need a bigger frying pan I normally take one with me but that only if you need one. Keep a eye out on Amazon as they do sales on there stuff. Thanks
What a fantastic kit….that table is great!! 🎯Thank you for sharing your time. I really enjoyed it. Your pack is beautiful as well…new subscriber after watching💥💥I’m headed over to check out a Bergen!!
Great video David. I’ve had my eye on one of those mess kits as an alternative to the Heavy Cover. Great to see one in use as well as the seasoning on the pan!
Hi Sean, Same here I would like to have got the Heavy Cover version but it all come down to Cost But I am really happy with it and works great. Thanks David
Nice one Dave. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas too. Some good kit there. I like the RM Bergen too, bit pricey for my budget but I bet you can be sure of its quality and design.
Nice video. It might be worth replacing the bail with bike brake cable for easier, more compact packing. I've done that to all my Zebra billys. Makes a huge difference.
Alright Dave, thanks for sharing. I'm liking the BV mess kit (I want it, but do I really need it! 🤔) and didn't realise it was so much cheaper on Alie Express. I liked the look of that meal too, gonna have to give it a try and I think some baked beans would go well with it! 👍
Hi Barney, we don't need any new gear really but it is part of the enjoyment of what we do GEAR and getting out to use it lol, The food was really nice and I am going to try more recipes like that. Thanks David
That food looked the bizzo, Mr. F 😍 You’re in the woods, not a Michelin restaurant! 😉👍🏼 It all goes down the same whole! Nice looking kit that Boundless Voyage. Something I shall consider.
Great video thanks for all of that info! Looking for a new pack and torn between the Leafcutter and the Sabre 45, currently leaning toward the leafcutter….any thoughts??
Hi Mate, out of all the rucksacks I have the RM pack is the one I would keep as it is lightweight, works great as a Day Pack and at 80 ltrs is good enough for a few nights camping, I have got a Sabre 45 and is a great pack but for me the RM pack can do more. Hope this helps David
Thanks Tony, I am going to work on a couple more designs to see what works best if you are interested send me a message and I will let you know. All The Best Dave
Great video really enjoyed it. I have a Leaf Cutter Bergen and they are made in Scotland, not England. No wonder our Scots’ cousins resent us Sasanachs. For anyone thinking of buying a Leaf Cutter Bergen, they are top drawer, well worth £195.
Hi Dave, great video as always. I have the Heavy Cover mess kit and the mess bag isn't the best. Will you be making bags like the one you made for your Boundless Voyage mess kit on your Etsy shop?
Does the 1.5L pot fit in any of the WW2 style trangia mess kit wind shields? (eg German or Swedish style) Or is it a direct copy of the heavy cover brand where the pot won’t fit?
Hiya David, you were probably expecting this but...any chance you are gonna add a pouch for this kit to your range ? or ever do one off customs (money up front ???)
Lol Hi Mate I could make one for you but at the moment it is time as I am really busy getting orders out, there is a couple of different designs i want to try out to see what works best. send me a message I let you know when I come up with something. Thanks David
I’ve got a little selection of stuff from boundless / ibaslingo and really the products but I’m almost 100% sure they are not real titanium, I have a few bits from Snowpeak and MSR and it’s much much lighter. Did some research and I think most of it is coated 304. Do you think it’s pure titanium? If it is they must be selling it at a loss.
Hi Mate, I have got a lot of Snowpeak and MSR titanium products and there titanium is of better titanium as it is all manufactured in Japan, the BV products are titanium I originally brought one of there Kettles about 5 years ago which i used a lot and is still going strong so yes I think it is good quality at good prices and with the competition on amazon with all these company's trying to beat each other on price works great for us. Thanks David
Just to let you know the “table” is not a table mate it’s a grill hot plate. You put it over a fire to cook on you have a hot plate on one side and the other side is a grill for cooking meat on.
Hi mate, ye I do know I even mentioned it in the video that you could put one of them veg steamers under it and use it as a fire pit. I brought it to use as a table as it is very strong and just the right size to fit inside a rucksack. Thanks anyway David
Was a good day in the woods and I do like the leafcutter
Cheers mate 👍
Over from ZED video. Beautiful craftsmanship on your gear. We loved waxed canvas up here in the Oregon forest. Bulletproof. Subd. D😎🇺🇸🤙
Thanks mate appreciate the kind words 👍
I saw Oregon and couldn’t resist….Eastern Oregon for me. Eagle Cap Wilderness ring a bell? Surely enjoyed these boys. Love their sense of humor
I love that table grill & mess kit a lot! Great video David ! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Mate 👍
Enjoyed it Dave . I really like the table/grill idea . May have to look into one . Glad to see your doing well .

Hi Jason, BV products for me are at a good price and work great I had one of there kettles for over 5 years and it is still going strong.
Thanks
David

Love the titanium cook set. The dbl steamer and table is a must have. I really enjoy cooking videos. sub
I do like that; the table grill works as a cutting board.
Great vid brother
Thanks Mate👍

More or less a titanium version of a German mess tin? Great review!
It looks like you threw the spatula on the ground at 09:27 instead of in the bag. I hope you found it later.
Thank you sir Hoo-Yah
Nice video mate. Thanks for posting. Where did you get that wee table?
Great job!!!
Love the set up
Look like a good copy of the 1939/40 French mess kit. Better features, lighter and cheaper than shipping from expensive France. Great video👍
The table seems interesting
Great video thanks for all of that info! Looking for a new pack and torn between the Leafcutter and the Sabre 45, currently leaning toward the leafcutter….any thoughts??

Dave just a tip you try filming your video in a lower fps it will make the video look better
Great vid. Use one. What is the small table you had?
Hi Mate thats the Boundless Voyage Titanium Grill / Table.
Thanks
David

Hello, thanks for that interesting video. Do you know if the canteen from Boundless Voyage fits in the pot of this mess kit? BR Thomas
Hello, did you get this from Aliexpress, as I am thinking of getting a set. Thank you.
