It seems like the perfect tank line for the majority of the current player base. You don’t have to worry about armor angling or aiming for weak spots at all. Just get the shot somewhere close and you’ll be rewarded with damage and maybe a kill.

It really isn't. You have horrible gun dp and yaw so getting the gun on target is hard to impossible. These tanks are not for beginners.

While these tanks are hilarious and meme-worthy, I feel that they would’ve worked SO much better 4-5 years ago when the game was at its peak in terms of gameplay and playerbase quality (and also playerbase size).
Honestly this line just feels like it doesn’t fit in the current yolo bum-rush meta. Almost as if it was just thrown in just for the hell of it. Also doesn’t help that the line as a whole is pretty much not worth the grind.

So I just recently got to the tier 10. I honestly regret using my free xp to skip the teir 9 and get the 10. I just can't seem to win any games in it. Just today I lost over 20 games and only one 3 in it. Lost money pretty much every game, and the gun was being horrendous. Standard HEAT makes tracking damage shots non existing. The premium HE splash is amazing...until you shoot a tier 8 light and his tracks eat it and it doesn't kill it and he spots you so a tier 10 arty can nuke me in one shot. This tank just seems so gimmicky and it fails to perform that gimmick well. Should have went with the Jageroo or the Grille 16
You mostly just aim to splash with the Prem HE. (Only use the Prem HE not standard because the bigger splash does more damage)
Only use the HEAT when you know you can pen with it.
Rejoice in the fact you never played the BAR because that tank is awful, like the worst in the game awful!
The Sturm is a meme tank tho. Like I said, don't take it too seriously, get some big HE memes off and you can have a right laugh with it

II know one thing - when I will see this sturmtiger now even in enemy team list - I will be very very careful :D P.S. would like to try it for fun, but being a fan of quick medium tanks I just don't have the patience to progress to this splash house :D

T5 is average, 6 is better, 7 is amazing when you get the 21cm gun, 8 and 9 are garbage and 10 is a meme.

I don't really get WG.
1. French wheelies? They race around at 70+ mph doing 360-deg turns/out flipping and tank shell bounce off them. Right.
2. Death Stars, E100's, SturmTigers....all the same thing. 380MM guns on a carriage that moves at 42 KM/H. Right.
3. Russian Tanks. Enough said.
4. Light tanks with auto-pen mechanics that have 1,000+ hp damage clips. Right.
5. Italian and Japanese Heavies. (LoL).

Stermtiger does have ok armor
It's ok on a ridge if they shoot the upper plate, but the gun has a 0 armour hole where the gun is, you can shoot it directly in the gun and they will most likely pen fairly easily
