This is pretty much the first thing I do when I get a new engine. I had a couple where the pads had stuck to the plate so the clutch wouldn't disengage. Can be fixed with brute force, but I always like to have a look anyway.
Thank you very much I watch a video and help me a lot and I have my clutch fixed thank you and I’ll be keeping up watching more of your videos you’re the best
Sup ma brother! I definitely run with high compression clutch pads some people say it doesn't matter is still the same thing well I say is not it makes lot of difference it last longer nice on the video ma brother 👍💯 what I do is I shave them all for them to fit properly but good idea on using the pliers
good to know i need to tear mine down and see whats going on . there is alot of slop in my clutch arm and im not sure if all the parts are there .. i dont want to try forcing the arm cause i dont want to break anything but there ether is no play in that clutch cause it dont move when i push on the clutch arm or im just not forcing it enough . but i guess we will see when i do the engine inspection .
@@Littleevil9975 ok will remember that . thanks for the advice buddy . hopefully i get the time to do the video on it this weekend. want to look things over before i order parts . i hate waiting for things so i want to make sure i have a list before i order . ill be checking it then . thanks again .
All right so on the clutch pads themselves there is a open part then there is a straight slick part which way do you put them in I'm not getting it because no video has explained anything about which way to put them in backside or front side
Sounds like you might need to adjust the pretension spring behind the clutch plate. Pretty simple to do. Hughes Motorized has the best information I've seen so far on how to do this
What's up good to see you nice tip I usually use a dremel I'm trying that way next time how's your minaralli that wasn't it you were working on I changed my crank bearings on mine good seeing you on again ride safe bro
Hi there I not long ago bought an 80cc peddle and pop as a non runner I got it running great but soon after I started it a few times the clutch didn’t work, unless you had the lever fully out, there was only a cm of grip catching it and slight scraping sounds just before it engages, the rest of the lever just rolling no turning over, but slight scrape sounds when rolled
When rolled disengage just a cm before lever fully out and scrapes but rolls free/ lever fully out when rolled it turns over but I don’t want to risk starting it again untill I know for sure replacing the pads will give me my lever halfway out start back.😭
@@Littleevil9975 they selling fast been on wait list ebays cdl frame i keep having nightmare i got the mags ,tires etc. its 3.4l when i get it ya'll will no .✌
Good "how to" vid for anyone just starting to get into these types motors 👍

Great tip with the vice grips! I’ve ground mine down with my bench grinder sometimes too far for my clutches liking.
Works good to bro
Good tip stretching the spring a bit. Like it 🤙
Thanks bro

When you push the clutch in if the clutch isn’t letting go yet then adjust your flower nut

You can put them in ether way bro
i had a problem where the lil set screw would hit the spring and push back out
Never had that happen

Some set screws are really long and do that

When do i know when to change my clutch pads
If they are not working right or if they start slipping is when I would change them or if you just need them to grab better
@@Littleevil9975 Thanks for the information
Welcome bro
Sup little evil just ordered me some new hi temp clutch pads
Hell yeah that’s cool bro there pretty easy to change n get better grip from your clutch if your pads are warn down
@@Littleevil9975 yeah my pads are stock and have ran the crap out em, bike still runs like a champ but just upgrading.. ill make a new video soon.

No, I never tried that bro good idea
@@Littleevil9975 yea man I took a pad out line the original pads and just cut em out bro they lasted a really long time 👍👍
That’s really cool bro I’ll have to try that out sometime
Can you show me how to get a frame for one of these?
Like a regular bike or a racing bike like on with the gas tank built in

You can adjust that just with the flower nut bro by adjusting that you can make it grab sooner or later depending on which way you go
L.E who has 3.4l frames
There’s a ton at places to get them I got my bike from bicycle engines.com but I’ve found them cheaper on eBay
