Hi Tatiana! Thank you so much for all your valuable content. I was wondering if you could help me with a query. I will send 2 pallets to Amazon and I would like to know if I tell my supplier in China to wrap the cartons in plastic or ask the freight forward (or who) to wrap them in the USA.
So if you're just starting out and not registering a company name, rather doing FBA as a sole proprietor - what is the best thing to do to make sure the GTIN is accepted by Amazon?
If you are private labeling , should you send that product ID to the factory?
Tatiana, I am still confused because at one stage Amazon linked me to purchase at GS1 and I got the one with the 12 digits Barcode, but now I am in another stage where Amazon requires to get a 14 digits Barcode and that's where I am stocked because I don't see a where to click to purchase that speciffic one, can you help me please.

Hello please I need help .I want to buy a Gtin for my product that i want to sell on amazon US.. when i come to write my company's address (which is actually my home address since its private label)on the GS1 checkout page, my country is not listed in the dropdown menu. im selling from libya on amazon USA. I can't seem to write my address in libya ..will it affect my listing later on if I just write any random address like my summerhouse's adress in Tunisia (the country is listed on the drop down menue) for example (since its a private label brand not a registered company yet any way)?? please advice ..thank you
So from my understanding I’ve been searching and watching videos for weeks, you don’t need UPC barcode to sell on Amazon only if you have a registered brand, you can list it as exempted product, I bought 2 barcodes for 2 different products ended up not using them as Amazon didn’t accept them without a real brand, no one mentioned that in any video, am I right Titania?
Hi, I think I'm facing this issue. Amazon isn't letting me list my products and its not letting me get an exemption either. I'm trying to sell a generic product. Can you help me out?

I am still stuck in this area on seller account, and so are many others, and we cannot find any answers anywhere to get over this hurdle. "The SKU does not match any ASIN and contains invalid value(s) for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN." I am not sure what to do next. I cant order my product from supplier without adding my product to account. I am using GS1 certified barcodes,(12 digit) and adding Zeros to see if that fixes it, but it does not. I did not do a brand registry or trademark my brand because i thought you did not need to. Can anyone clarify how to get through this? or provide me some mentorship! this has been weeks of struggling to get past this point.
Did you happen to find an answer to this or a video that explains it better. ?

GS1 have a monopoly and their prices are disgusting.
Very imformative. However, perhaps dropping the unnecessary repetitive use of the word "again" would help Ms. Covey's audience focus more on what is being said. Thank you Ms. James and Ms. Covey.
